Flame had completely lost consciousness; she lay motionless, facing the ground.
"Blazing Flames!"
"What's wrong with her? She was fine just now, why did she suddenly become like this?"
Moth Shaman's expression changed drastically, unsure of what had happened. Clearly, he hadn't expected Lieyan to faint. He glanced maliciously at the Red Flower Tribe's group, wondering if they were behind it. But their shaman hadn't accompanied them this time, and the remaining warriors, like Dian, couldn't possibly have escaped his notice if they wanted to attack Lieyan. So, this thought only lingered in his mind for a few seconds before disappearing. He rubbed his temples with his right middle finger and thumb, beginning to ponder.
Several soldiers who were close to Lieyan rushed towards her. They helped her up and shook her, but when she still didn't respond, they became even more anxious. One of the older soldiers gently placed a hand on Lieyan's nose. After a moment, the soldier's face turned ashen. He turned to look around and nervously told the soldiers who were watching him that he couldn't detect Lieyan's breathing.
Upon hearing this, the tense soldiers' spirits crumbled instantly. Some clutched their heads, lamenting how this could have happened; some burst into tears; and some shook Lieyan's body in frustration, seemingly believing that Lieyan was merely asleep and would surely wake up again. Fortunately, the older soldier stopped him, pushing away the soldiers who were "touching" Lieyan.
Just then, the Moth Witch walked over.
"Moth Witch!"
The soldier immediately stepped aside.
Moth Witch gently crouched down and placed one hand on Flame's lower abdomen.
He did not speak.
These young warriors were very concerned about the Flame. Seeing that the Moth Witch remained silent, they dared not speak and could only watch her cautiously from the side.
After a long while, the moth witch finally looked up.
"Moth Witch, how is Flame?"
"Is there any hope...? No, there must be... there's hope!"
The moth witch let out a long sigh.
"What's wrong, Moth Witch? Flame is probably just too tired right now."
Seeing the Moth Witch's attitude, many people already had a bad feeling.
Moth Witch said coldly, "If she were just too tired, she would never be like this. Blaze's physique is so much stronger than Chu's, and Chu can still hold on, but Blaze..."
Before she could finish speaking, the Moth Witch suddenly said, "Someone attacked her when the Flame wasn't paying attention! And with poison!"
"Use poison!"
How could that be?
Moth Witch continued, "Blazing Flame's abdomen is extremely cold, and her face is turning green—these are signs of poisoning! Moreover, her abdomen feels like it's filled with water; this is definitely not the feel of a normal person's abdomen!"
The Moth Witch spoke in a low voice to the people looking at her: "The wound should be on her back. One of you, take Flame into the cave. I will personally take care of her safety!"
Moth Witch's words left everyone bewildered, but they also knew that now was not the time for curiosity. The group rushed forward, picked up Blazing Flame, and headed towards the cave.
After Chu noticed something was wrong, he had been observing them. Now, seeing them carrying Lieyan away, he couldn't help but ask curiously, "What's going on? Is Lieyan alright?"
However, no sooner had he finished speaking than a tidal wave of curses erupted from the Black Wind Tribe.
"You bastards, you beasts of the Red Flower Tribe, how dare you! You can't defeat Blazing Flame, so you come up with such a vicious idea!"
"Chu, I thought you were rather stupid, but I didn't think you would do anything like the despicable things done by the Baiyu tribe. It's really disappointing. We misjudged you!"
"Brothers, since they dared to ambush Blazing Flame, let's fight them to the death!"
Chu couldn't understand why these people were angry, but when he heard them slander him and compare him to the beasts of the White Feather Tribe, he immediately retorted angrily, "What do you mean by this? What gives you the right to insult us like this?"
"How dare you say that!"
"It was your tribe that caused the Flame Poisoning, are you pretending you don't know that!"
"I?"
Chu pointed to himself, finding it utterly absurd. Enraged by the Black Wind Tribe's slander, he slammed his fist on the ground and shouted, "What nonsense! Do you think I, Chu, am that kind of person? I'll accept my loss. If I lose, I lose. I can only blame myself for being too weak. How could I possibly scheme against her!"
The Black Wind Tribe members were clearly not going to believe Chu's story so easily. They wanted to continue, and some warriors even made moves as if they wanted to rush up to Chu and kill him while he was at it.
"Wait a moment!"
Moth Witch was following behind Blazing Flame when she heard the commotion of the crowd behind her and said irritably.
Turning to look at Chu and the silent Dian, Ewu quietly said, "They didn't do it."
"What, Moth Witch, but this..."
"If they didn't do it, then who did?"
Moth Witch did not answer; he stared intently at Dian with deep eyes, while Dian looked back at Moth Witch without any hesitation.
The two stared at each other for a long time.
"snort."
The moth witch sneered.
“It’s not that I believe you, but your tribe simply doesn’t have that ability,” the moth shaman said sarcastically. “See? I told you so, chief of the Red Flower tribe.”
Dian Jingjing said quietly, "I'll take that as a compliment, Moth Witch."
The moth witch smiled.
He instructed the warriors behind him, "Keep an eye on them. Regardless of whether they were the ones who started it, if they dare to cause trouble in our tribe, we won't let them leave easily. In any case, we just need to wait for the chief and the others to return. So much time has passed now, the chief and the others should be back soon."
“As for me, I need to check Flame’s injuries and find the wound that knocked her unconscious,” the Moth Witch said. “In short, I need enough quiet. From now on, no matter what, I don’t want anyone to enter my cave before I come out, no matter which tribe they are from, understand?”
The Moth Witch was extremely prestigious, and now only he could save the Flame. None of the warriors surrounding him dared to oppose him, and they all agreed.
Before leaving, Moth Witch glanced at Dian again, "You can enjoy your last moments. Before long, once Tu and the others return, you will all die... Oh, right, that big guy doesn't have to die. It looks quite like a ferocious beast. We can leave it to our tribe so that Blaze can awaken into a totem warrior."
By this time, Chu was already able to stand up and walk on his own. He quietly walked up to Dian and said with a grin, "Looks like there's going to be a good show to watch next."
I don't think so.
The tone of the passage is not pleasant.
