Chapter 83 Double Ambush

According to Li Qing's plan, he placed the people who were not capable of fighting in a very safe place to ensure that they would not be affected by the war. He and Chu, along with a few others, were responsible for containing the Black Wind Tribe's firepower, allowing the ambushing warriors to better display their skills. In the name of "for the tribe," he told Dian to be calm and not to be impatient. All he needed to do was command the archers and ensure that nothing went wrong, because if anything happened to these ambushing people, the entire Red Flower Tribe would be in trouble.

The so-called "diversionary attack" can be simply explained as fighting and retreating until the giant ape is hiding in the jungle. The giant ape then kills all the curious children that have been attracted to it, and afterwards, it is disguised as the giant ape taking action in anger because the Black Wind Tribe invaded its territory.

Li Qing had discussed these matters with the Golden Giant Ape long ago. In the earliest days, and when Li Qing first announced his plan to the Red Flower Tribe, Chu had offered many opinions on the strategy.

In his view, this was a complete "deception," and the deception was directed at his own tribe.

Even though Chu had a thousand reasons to be unwilling, he still vaguely knew that Li Qing was right.

Even though it's not very "humane," this method can be said to guarantee to the greatest extent that there will be almost no more traitors in the Red Flower Tribe in the future. After all, those who are left behind are all determined to die.

Li Qing whispered to Chu, "Don't worry, everything will be fine. Don't you trust that ape king and Xiong Ga?"

At this point, Li Qing's memories returned to the past.

Humans hold grudges, animals hold gratitude.

Even in Li Qing's eyes, that couldn't be considered a "favor" at all.

However, after Xiong Ga relayed this matter to the Vajra Giant Ape, the Vajra Giant Ape agreed without any further consideration.

Chu: "Alright, kid, you've got a lot of tricks up your sleeve, I trust you."

Chu Chao shouted from behind, "Come on, you guys, come with me and let's wipe out those brats from the Black Wind Tribe!"

"Awooooo!"

The soldiers shouted in unison, picked up their weapons, and prepared to charge down the slope with Chu.

Hearing this, Li Qing was so anxious he was about to curse. He immediately shouted to stop them, "I'll emphasize it again: your priority is to protect yourselves. Leave the attack to our brothers!"

He pointed at the archers, his expression urgent and his words quick: "Our mission is to protect them. With them here, we have hope of defeating the Black Wind Tribe!"

"I don't want you all to rush in and die. Make good use of our terrain advantage!"

At this point, the situation left Li Qing with no time to waste. He left a message, grabbed his weapon, and ran to the side where there was a relatively low slope. Jumping down from there would provide some relief.

"wheat!"

Seeing Li Qing attack without warning, Chu shouted, "Are you crazy? You're only a level one warrior!"

After saying that, he had no choice but to follow Li Qing and run to the side.

The soldiers who had been assigned to "go into battle" by Chu followed behind him and gradually ran away.

Dian was right next to the warriors of the Red Flower Tribe. He watched all this with his own eyes, stamped his feet, and could only worry helplessly.

"Are they alright, especially Wheat and the other level one warriors? The difference in numbers is just too great. Why don't they just fight honestly up there? Why do they have to go over there to 'hold them back'? It's completely unnecessary!"

Just then, one of the second-level warriors under the thorn-faced commander, by forming a human ladder and using some uneven rock walls, finally managed to grab the ground where the archers were located.

"not good!"

Dian reacted quickly. Seeing this, he quickly snapped out of his thoughts, rushed to the person's hand, grabbed the person's hand, and lifted the person up.

The difference in strength between a level three warrior and a level two warrior was enormous. This man desperately grabbed Dian's hands, but to no avail. His legs kicked wildly in a pitiful state, and a fatal feeling of oxygen deprivation was already overwhelming him.

Panting heavily, Dian was filled with rage and punched the man in the side of the face, causing him to spit out a mouthful of blood!

"Cough, cough!"

He was coughing violently.

But the attacks haven't stopped.

A punch landed on his abdomen.

A wave of nausea washed over him. He gritted his teeth, revealing blood-stained fangs, and snarled, "Dian...you bastard..."

The next attack would take his life.

Dian picked up his signature weapon, an oversized axe.

It was extremely heavy, at least three or four times heavier than the stone axes used by Chu and the others, but Dian handled it with ease. Without saying a word, he swung the stone axe at the man's neck.

The head then fell off.

Dian threw the corpse back to the ground and laughed loudly, "Spiky Face, so this is the warrior of your Black Wind Tribe? Not so great, very weak!"

The head rolled right to Cimian's feet. Looking down, Cimian could see the head, which infuriated him. He never expected the Red Flower Tribe to set up an ambush here. What was worse was that they had come with the intention of easily killing the Red Flower Tribe while they were asleep, and they hadn't prepared any bows and arrows. This left them helpless in this terrible terrain.

"Let's see who else is afraid of death and dares to challenge me," Dian said sternly as he looked down from above. "Where I am, the Red Flower Tribe is. If you're not afraid of death, come and try. Ci Mian, come on, you come up first, let me take you down first!"

After teasing the tattooed-faced man for a while, Dian said, "Brothers, avenge our fallen brothers! Kill them all, leave no one alive!"

Needless to say, these archers performed the actions of taking arrows, bending bows, and shooting arrows with great coordination, without ever stopping.

Everyone's eyes seemed to be burning with flames.

These are the guys!

Kill them!

Screams rose and fell in waves. Ci Mian, hiding in a safe spot, gave orders to the remaining warriors: "Damn it, don't be stupid! Keep climbing! There are so many of you. If you climb with all your might, you can definitely make it to the top before you all die. I don't believe these beasts from the Red Flower Tribe are still so powerful up close. Apart from Dian, all of them are at most level two warriors. They are no match for you bastards who train day and night. Go! Let them taste our power!"

In the Black Wind Tribe, the higher a warrior's rank, the greater their authority. They dared not disobey Ci Mian's words and desperately began to build human ladders to climb up.

"Hmph, fortunately we have a lot of people. It's only a matter of time before we wipe out those bastards from the Red Flower Tribe..." Thornface thought confidently.
