His breathing quickened slightly, and he swallowed hard. "I want to!"
Shen Qingqing raised her eyebrows. "Wait, I may not be able to attend your wedding, but I won't skimp on the wedding gift you deserve."
"Yes! Thank you, boss!" Zheng Dongqi's face flushed with excitement.
Over the years, Shen Qingqing has grown up considerably, but the long-time employees of the four companies still call her "Little Boss," since that's how they've called her since she was a child.
Only the new employees who joined in the last few years will respectfully call him "boss".
After all, the new employees who joined later were about the same age as Shen Qingqing.
Calling him "little boss" is no longer appropriate.

Wu Fangyi smiled, quickly went downstairs, walked up to Shen Qingqing, and hugged her: "Baby, welcome back!"
During her years in the capital, Wu Fangyi's emotional expression finally became less restrained than it had been in Chaozhou.
Shen Qingqing snuggled against Wu Fangyi, then pulled away, holding up the red velvet cake in her hand. "It seems we bought the same thing twice, what should we do?"
Wu Fangyi was stunned, and she and Shen Qingqing looked at each other.
After a while, the two of them burst out laughing at the same time.
"Then we'll just have to skip dinner tonight and have this for dinner!"
Fortunately, they both bought the smallest size, so they didn't end up stuffed.

After packing her luggage, Shen Qingqing came downstairs to find that Wu Fangyi had already unpacked and arranged both cakes, placed forks beside them, and poured a glass of white peach oolong sparkling water for each of them.
Both of them liked the taste.
Shen Qingqing sat down and took a bite of cake. The silky texture made her squint her eyes in comfort.
Then, the next second, Wu Fangyi said something that almost made her choke to death.
"I broke up with Ziyang."
"Pfft, cough cough... Ah?" Shen Qingqing stared wide-eyed at Wu Fangyi. "W-why?"
Wu Fangyi, who had been eating cake bite after bite, suddenly slowed down. After thinking for a moment, she said, "If I had to say why... maybe it's because I don't love him enough, or maybe I love myself too much."
Hearing Wu Fangyi's words, Shen Qingqing's expression turned serious: "What happened? Did he force you to do something?"
"Not really, it's just that we made different choices. He was pampered by his parents growing up, so it's understandable that he can't let go of them. Besides, his profession doesn't require him to be stationed in the capital. Even if he goes back, he can work online and travel for business anytime. "Not long after, when you said you were coming back, he had just gone back." Wu Fangyi shrugged.
