Chapter 209: Follow up with the final review.

Two and a half hours is just right; do it once, check it once.

Zheng Yonghui and the homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2 compared the answers they had obtained from the science teachers that afternoon and began grading their papers one question at a time.

The exam takes two and a half hours to complete and ten minutes to grade.

The final results showed that both of them scored above 285 points.

Shen Qingqing's score was slightly lower, barely passing 285, while Wu Fangyi led in the score of the two physics multiple-choice questions.

Looking at the scores of the two students, Zheng Yonghui and the homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2 remained silent for a long time.

But Zheng Yonghui kept his word and finally relented: "Okay, your results have proven yourselves. Do you want to register for the college entrance examination this year? Are you planning to give it a try, or do you plan to participate this time and then go through the application process with the senior students if you pass?"

"Although I don't want to make any absolute statements, if we don't treat this as our only chance, we'll never have the courage to go all in." Shen Qingqing didn't give a direct answer, but her words already made her stance clear.

The homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2 laughed after hearing this, pointing at Shen Qingqing and saying, "This kid is even more arrogant than I was back then!"

Shen Qingqing blinked and immediately asked, "What do you mean? Teacher Liu, did you also take the college entrance exam early?"

Zheng Yonghui laughed and said, "Before you, the last person to ask to take the college entrance examination early was her."

Shen Qingqing's eyes and mouth turned round, and she giggled, "Then we learned it from our teacher!"

"Hey! I didn't teach you to do that, don't talk nonsense!" The homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2 immediately crossed his hands in front of him and made a big X.

Zheng Yonghui watched Shen Qingqing chatting and laughing with the homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2, then turned his gaze to Wu Fangyi and asked, "Fangyi, what about you? What are your own thoughts?"

Wu Fangyi was watching Shen Qingqing chatting and laughing with her homeroom teacher when she suddenly heard Zheng Yonghui call her name. She pointed to herself in surprise.

Zheng Yonghui nodded: "Yes, I'm asking you."

Wu Fangyi pointed at Shen Qingqing, looking confused: "I'm the same as Qingqing."

Does this need to be asked again? Hasn't Shen Qingqing always been the one answering?

“Qingqing’s ideas and thoughts have always been sound, and she expresses her views clearly. But you’re always by Qingqing’s side. You need to think carefully about whether you’ve been influenced by Qingqing or whether you share the same firm beliefs.” Zheng Yonghui noticed Wu Fangyi’s confusion and surprise and explained a little.

Wu Fangyi understood Zheng Yonghui's meaning, smiled slightly, and shook her head: "This is something we agreed on back in the first semester of our first year of high school. If I were just influenced by Qingqing and blindly followed her decisions, no one could have persisted for so long, and besides—"

Wu Fangyi also pointed to the two test papers on the table, "My combined science score is higher than Qingqing's."

Although it may sound a bit harsh, it's true that in popular stereotypes, the person with the lower score is always the follower.

This was the first time Zheng Yonghui had heard about when the two of them made this decision, and he couldn't help but ask, "Did you agree on this from the first semester of your first year of high school?"

Their conversation also attracted the attention of two people on the other side of the table.

Shen Qingqing and Wu Fangyi sat at opposite tables, each on one side, and their two homeroom teachers took turns proctoring the exam. In other words, Shen Qingqing was proctored by the homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2, while Wu Fangyi was proctored by Zheng Yonghui.

Wu Fangyi nodded: "Yes, Qingqing suggested it, and I agreed."

As for other matters, Wu Fangyi did not say much.

Perhaps the idea was sparked by an unpleasant first meeting with her roommates, but their tireless efforts over the next year, day and night, proved their determination.

Upon hearing Wu Fangyi's words, Zheng Yonghui and the homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2 were both surprised.

When they heard the two girls come to them saying they wanted to take the college entrance exam early, they thought it was just a passing fancy and that they felt their studies were too far ahead. They never imagined that the girls had seriously considered it and had been working hard towards it.

"No wonder. There was a question on last year's final exam that you two both used high school level knowledge to answer. Unfortunately, the teacher grading your papers was a high school level teacher who didn't notice this small mistake and gave you both full marks. If I hadn't checked the papers later, you two would have gotten away with it." The homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2 remembered something.

Shen Qingqing chuckled, "But in the end, we managed to get away with it!"

"You still have the nerve to say that? If it weren't for Teacher Liu's kindness in letting you off the hook, you would have lost all ten points on that big question!" Zheng Yonghui put on a stern face and pretended to scold.

The next second, the homeroom teacher of Rocket Class 2 exposed them: "So what if they were not kind? The fact that they lost ten points will not affect their grade ranking, and it just makes us change the table again for no reason."

The office erupted in laughter.

After confirming their intentions, Zheng Yonghui said to them, "Alright, you can go back now. You don't need to go back to the classroom. Evening self-study is about to end, so go straight back to the dormitory. As for the college entrance examination registration, I will inform you after Teacher Liu and I have settled it. We will also tell you in advance what materials you need and what preparations you need to make so that you can take care of them."

"Okay, thank you both!"

After leaving the office, Shen Qingqing and Wu Fangyi walked back to their dormitory. It was very quiet. All three grades in the school were having evening self-study sessions, and there were no students wandering around outside.
