Chapter 130 Serious Illness and Coma (1/2)

Chapter 130 Serious Illness and Coma

In the elevator, Wanying blocked Wang Chuwei in the corner, put her hand on his chest, and frowned.

Is such a slow heartbeat normal for a living person?

He lowered his eyes, which seemed to be covered with mist, and they were hazy, with his pupils dilated and almost unfocused.

Wanying felt a little regretful. She shouldn't have gone home. She should have called an ambulance to take her to the hospital.

Snuggling into his arms, she patted his back gently, "Hold on for a while, okay? Professor Zou has sent a doctor who's familiar with your body to come home."

He groaned, his chin drooping on her shoulder, putting some of his weight on her.

The cold wind blowing downstairs just now made people feel more awake, but suddenly it became warm and Wang Chuwei's vision became blurry.

Each breath he took felt as heavy as a jack, and he forced himself to stand firmly.

At least hold on until the doctor comes and don't scare Yingying.

The elevator arrived, and Xiao Wanying thought she needed to help him, but he had no intention of relying on her at all.

She pursed her lips in worry. He was still able to walk now. It really depended entirely on his strong endurance.

She opened the door and sent him to lie down on the bed. Xiao Wanying went to search, "Do you have a thermometer or fever-reducing patch at home?"

There was no sound in the room. Wanying's heart tightened and she ran back quickly.

"Wang Chuwei."

He fell on the bed, eyes closed, exhausted.

Hearing his heartbeat, Xiao Wanying moved closer. His breath was warm, and she breathed a sigh of relief.

I wrung out a towel with cold water and applied it to his forehead.

He is so thin. It's sad to see such a tall man looking so thin.

“Ding Dong!”

The doorbell rang, startling Wanying.

She immediately came to her senses and went to open the door.

Professor Zou and a female doctor ran in from outside and entered the room.

The door closed, and Zou Kang's voice came from inside, asking, "How is it?"

The female doctor was obviously a little angry. She lowered her voice and yelled at Zou Kang, "He's had a fever for at least half a month. If he had a few more days, he would have died."

In the living room, Wanying heard it, her hands turning white as she sat on the sofa, staring at the black TV screen.

"Where are his family members? Let them come back. What if something happens?"

"His mother is on a business trip abroad and won't be back for the next few days. Calling her will only make her worry. It's useless. Let's put some more IV drip on her and see."

Walking out, Zou Kang's face was furrowed with wrinkles. "Yingying, you've worked hard. It's getting late, you should go back and rest."

Qi Wanying shook her head, "I'll wait for him to wake up."

Seeing that the little girl was determined, Zou Kang didn't know what to say and just sat down quietly.

The two sat facing each other until late at night. The sky began to brighten, and Wanying turned her head to look outside.

My eyes were pricked and it hurt.

"Yingying, we took your brother away. Are you very angry?"

With his experience, Zou Kang knew at a glance that Qi Wanying was angry.

"fine."

Actually, she was fine. She was a little angry at first, and she was also angry with Aunt Meng.

But later she realized that some people are destined to take certain paths. If Wang Chuwei stayed, he might be an outlier all his life.

Not accepted by normal society, buried here.

But once it is taken away by Zou Kang and his men, the pearl will not be covered in dust.

She occasionally thought about it and felt that it was a good choice.

Wanying looked out the window. In the dark night, the buildings were ablaze with colorful lights that never rested. "I'm really angry because you treated him like this."

"I will ask my superiors to let him take a break."

"Professor Zou, I don't know what you're doing, and I don't deserve to know. This temporary deadline is to wait until he's fully recovered."

Zou Kang said nothing more and looked inside the room.

The next day, several more doctors came to the house, and they stayed in there all day without coming out.

They didn't leave until the afternoon, leaving the female doctor here. Wanying walked into the room quietly.

A huge breathing mask covered half of his face. He lay there quietly, without a sound.

Wanying sat down on the edge of the bed, rested her little face on the back of his hand, and lay down.

His hands were very cold, and only after she held them for a while did they warm up again.
