Chapter 2: Mistakenly Recognizing a Savior (1/2)

Chapter 2 Mistakenly Recognizing a Savior

Xu Ningjun opened her eyes and she seemed to be in the educated youth dormitory.

The place where she went to the countryside was called Qingshan Village. The village was remote and the brigade was very poor.

There was no way to afford dormitories for the educated youth, so they had to use several small rooms as dormitories. Four beds were pushed together, and four people slept in one room.

Standing at the door were her good friends Wang Qingqing, Zhafu, and Qichuan, as well as some villagers who were watching the fun.

Later, Wang Qingqing hooked up with her scumbag husband, and they secretly sent letters to her parents, saying that she was not living well and asked her parents to subsidize her.

Their parents give them more than 60 yuan a month!

The old couple lived frugally, allowing the two bastards to live a carefree and extravagant life.

She actually didn't know this the whole time. The letter she had the courage to write to her parents was torn up by them and never sent out.

She didn't receive a reply, so she always thought her parents were angry with her for eloping and didn't want her anymore.

Just thinking about Xu Ningjun made his fists stiffen, "Ahem."

She coughed slightly, and Jikawa looked up for a moment.

When their eyes met, Xu Ningjun was slightly distracted.

Did it change after starting over?

He was the one who saved her last night.

"You're blocking the light."

He was almost as tall as the door, and her intention was to let him come in and not stand there.

But the man withdrew his gaze and turned away with a cold expression.

Oh, he never liked her and seldom spoke to her.

"Ningning," Wang Qingqing smacked her lips and walked in dissatisfied, "It would have a bad influence if he carried you back."

"Yes, he should have let me die there."

Wang Qingqing didn't expect Xu Ningjun to speak to her like this. Her face suddenly flushed. "I'm worried about you, but nothing good has come of it. Fine, I won't care if you ruin your reputation."

She sat down on the chair, took the candy that Xu Ningjun had placed on the bedside, peeled off the candy wrapper and put it in her mouth.

Xu Ningjun, whose movements were natural, was amused. "Give me money. One cent for one candy."

"Cough cough cough!"

Wang Qingqing's eyes widened in disbelief. Xu Ningjun asked her for money?!

The two are neighbors and grew up together.

Xu Ningjun's father is a surgeon and his mother is a worker.

Xu Ningjun was the only daughter in the family, and he doted on her like the apple of his eye. She had new clothes every month and could eat eggs and watermelons every day.

"Ningning, you must have hit your head. What's yours is mine, right? Why are you so clear about the difference?"

Xu Ningjun was simple and rich. When she was a child, she would ask Xu Ningjun for money when she had no money, and she would always give it to him enthusiastically.

She never cared about eating her food and drinking her drinks, but now she is so stingy!

"OK."

Xu Ningjun grabbed Wang Qingqing's wrist, took off the watch on her wrist and put it on his own hand.

"What are you doing? Give it back to me!"

Wang Qingqing hurriedly tried to grab it, and Xu Ningjun laughed, "Qingqing, this watch is really nice."

"You! You just want money? You're so stingy!"

Wang Qingqing rummaged through the drawers, accusing Xu Ningjun. She found a handful of cash and threw it on the bed, "Give it back to me."

"Oops, I remembered it wrongly. I bought this candy abroad for one dollar."

The person on the bed blinked innocently, as if he had just remembered it, and his little face was full of embarrassment.

Wang Qingqing's teeth were about to break, and for the sake of the watch, she could only painfully take out a dollar.

Her family was not well off, her brother was getting married, and she went to the countryside to get subsidies.

She would have to save this dollar for several months.

"Give it back to me!"

Seeing Xu Ningjun remained silent, Wang Qingqing rushed to grab it anxiously. She had just fallen down the mountain and was definitely out of strength.

“Bang!”

Xu Ningjun raised his hand and slapped him.

Wang Qingqing was hit and her head tilted to the side. There was a red palm mark on her face and her eyes widened in shock.

"You're such a traitor! Whose watch is this? How dare you ask me to return it to you?"

A dog that bites its owner should not be kept.

Wang Qingqing asked her to lend her her newly bought watch for a few days, but she never returned it after wearing it. "This dollar is just like you renting my watch."

“Xu, Xu…!”

Her face was burning with pain, and Wang Qingqing covered her face in shock.

She had never been slapped in the face since she was a child. She snorted for a long time, stomped her feet and ran out crying.
