Chapter 68 Going to College (㟧)
"Idiot, we can go to the same university. But with your age, you can't just pick a major. Why don't you go to a lesser school where you can choose a major you like?"
Cheng Chuan shook his head. He didn’t have a favorite major, and he liked Xu Ningjun.
If liking Xu Ningjun was a course, he would definitely be the top scorer.
After dinner in the evening, Cheng Chuan went to deliver food to his grandmother and brought the admission letter with him.
"Grandma, look, I'm going to college."
The old lady was also shocked. She looked at the admission letter several times, back and forth. "Is this really yours, kid? Don't lie to me."
Cheng Chuan nodded. "Ningning got first place in the province. She's amazing! Everyone envies her and even gave her a red ribbon. Even the TV station came to see her. The team leader said Ningning is capable."
He kept praising her, his words crackling like pouring beans. When he talked about his wife, his face was full of joy that could not be hidden.
The old lady gave her grandson a look of disdain and said, "If you can get into university, that's enough. Learning culture is a lifelong thing. I told you before, but you didn't listen. My wife says you listen quickly."
But what should the old lady do if he leaves here and goes to college?
Cheng Chuan was a little hesitant again, as if he left, there would be no one to take care of his grandmother.
The old lady said sternly, "I won't let you take care of me. I'd rather die here than stop you from going to school. You better go to college right now."
The old voice was serious, as if she would kill him if he didn't go to college.
Cheng Chuan had no choice but to agree quickly, and he discussed it with Xu Ningjun when he returned home in the evening.
"Wu Xiaoxiong said he would help take care of the old lady, don't worry. Xiaoxiong is a smart and down-to-earth kid."
Cheng Chuan nodded, reluctantly relieved.
The pig farm's business was booming, and Xiaohu was reluctant to let Cheng Chuan go. Huang Weimin kicked him a few times, "You go to school. This is a gift. Take it with you to school."
Huang Weimin gave him 500 yuan at once and said, "When the time comes, we can go to the city to do business. Why rush?"

When school was about to start, the two took a train to the city. This was Cheng Chuan's first time going to the city, so Xu Ningjun had to go home first.
"Brother Chuan, do you want to go back with me and get scolded now, or do you want to talk about it later?"
Cheng Chuan thought about it carefully, and didn't want Xu Ningjun to be in between him and his parents, so he shook his head.
Wait until he works harder and can give Ningning a better job, then go to see his father-in-law.
He let her go home by herself, and he took her children to the school to settle down first.
When Xu Ningjun was walking downstairs to his home, he saw a black car driving out of the alley.
The car was clean and looked quite classy. She looked over in confusion at the driver wearing gloves sitting in the cab.
There shouldn’t be anyone so rich in this old house who can afford a driver and a four-wheeled vehicle.
Although Xu Ningjun was surprised, he didn't think much about it.
On the way back, I heard some gossip. The girl was pretty and young, but it was a pity that she followed such a guy.
Xu Ningjun quickly turned around. She almost thought that everyone was talking about her. Why did Cheng Chuan follow her?
There was no one behind her, and she heard everyone pointing and talking. By the time she reached the upstairs, she had almost understood everything.
It's like there was a girl here who hooked up with an old rich man.
But the gossips are all nonsense, and you don't know where they came from.
"Mom and Dad, I'm back."
She stood at the door and knocked lightly. Her parents rushed out. Huang Guifang quickly touched Xu Ningjun's face and stroked it back and forth.
"You've lost weight and suffered so much. Come in quickly. Your father heard that you were back, so he went out early in the morning to buy pork and fish and cooked a table full of your favorite dishes."
The house was arranged in the same manner as before she left, except that she had been away for a very, very long time.
Xu Ningjun walked around and recalled the past. This house seemed a little strange to her. She had been away for more than ten days.
When I opened my room, I found it was spotlessly clean, and everything inside was carefully wrapped with a tablecloth.
