Xie Zheng: “…”
Xie Zheng paused and continued to call Wang Cuilan until Wang Cuilan became a little impatient.
The man said sullenly, "Wife, we will be fine from now on."
Wang Cuilan lowered her eyes and did not say anything at first.
Xie Zheng tightened his grip around Wang Cuilan's waist and said in a low voice, "Why aren't you talking?"
"Um."
Xie Zheng was dissatisfied and felt that Wang Cuilan was just being perfunctory.
He turned Wang Cuilan over, held her face in his hands, looked into her eyes and said, "I say we will be fine from now on."
Wang Cuilan was unnerved by Xie Zheng's serious expression. She wanted to turn away, but the man restrained her. She could only look him in the eye and say, "Okay."
Xie Zheng laughed. He hugged Wang Cuilan in his arms, kissed her on the eyelid, and said domineeringly, "You promised me, and you can't regret it in the future."
Wang Cuilan opened her mouth to say something.
Suddenly I smelled a burnt smell in the air.
Oh my god, she is frying eggs!
She quickly pushed away the man who was in the way and scooped the eggs out of the pot with a spatula.
Looking at the mushy eggs, Wang Cuilan glared at Xie Zheng, "I told you to make trouble while I was frying eggs. Now that the eggs are mushy like this, I wonder how you're going to eat them?"
Xie Zheng didn't take it seriously. "I've eaten raw meat before when I was on a mission. What's the big deal?"
Wang Cuilan, who wanted to fry another egg for Xie Zheng, said, "If that's the case, then eat it!"
Xie Zheng took the bowl of noodles and asked Wang Cuilan, "Do you want to eat something? I'll feed you?"
Wang Cuilan shook her head and said, "Eat it yourself. I'm going back to my room first."
Just as he walked out the door, he retracted his foot and turned to Xie Zheng and said, "After you finish eating, remember to wash the dishes and put them in the cupboard."
Xie Zheng responded.
When Xie Zheng finished eating and cleaned up the dishes and returned to the room, Wang Cuilan was already in bed.
I lifted the quilt and got into bed. Just as I was about to lie down, I saw Wang Cuilan's high school math textbook placed beside the bed out of the corner of my eye.
He raised his eyebrows, reached out and picked it up and flipped through it. The elegant and graceful handwriting jumped out of the paper.
He smiled and read his wife's handwriting page by page. He felt that it was beautiful no matter how he looked at it.
As I was looking, suddenly, an unfamiliar font came into view.
Unlike the previous graceful and elegant font, this font is obviously vigorous and powerful.
This is a man's handwriting.
After coming to this conclusion, Xie Zheng's face darkened.
Unexpectedly, Xie Zheng's mind unconsciously recalled the last time he came back and saw Wang Cuilan smiling at another man.
His grip on the book tightened, and a storm gathered in his eyes.
He closed his eyes tightly, and the storm in his eyes disappeared.
Closing the book, lying down, and holding her in his arms, Xie Zheng asked Wang Cuilan, "What have you been doing at home lately?"
Wang Cuilan was puzzled: "Why did you ask this?"
But she still said, "I collect herbs, organize them, treat patients, and read books."
"You mean high school textbooks?" Xie Zheng pressed. "Is there anything you don't understand? I can teach you."
Wang Cuilan refused: "Not for now, I can still understand it myself."
The man didn't say anything, but he held the person's hands tighter.
Wang Cuilan finally realized that something was wrong with Xie Zheng and recalled the man flipping through the book after going to bed.
Wang Cuilan blinked and felt that she should know why the man was unhappy.
I'm not sure though, I'll have to try it first.
She turned over to face Xie Zheng and said, "Even if there's something I don't understand, I'll ask the educated... youth at the educated youth point."
Damn, is this damn man going to break his own waist?
She slapped Xie Zheng's hand that was pinching her waist away and cursed, "Xie Zheng, if you're jealous, then be jealous. Do you want to murder your own daughter-in-law?"
Xie Zheng loosened his grip and defended himself, "I didn't murder my own daughter-in-law."
Wang Cuilan laughed: "I thought you would say you weren't jealous."
Xie Zheng was silent.
Suddenly, he lifted the man's head and kissed him fiercely.
He kissed her eagerly and fiercely, as if he wanted to prove something.
After the kiss, the man's rough fingertips gently stroked Wang Cuilan's slightly swollen lips, and then said, "I am indeed jealous. There is nothing wrong with admitting it."
Wang Cuilan was stunned. She didn't expect Xie Zheng to admit it so frankly.
It's really surprising.
But since this is the case, Wang Cuilan felt that she needed to explain the matter clearly to others so as not to cause unnecessary trouble between the couple.
