Chapter 315 Wu Family Farce

The compound where the old man lives is inhabited by heavyweights of the country, so the security around it is naturally strict.

It is no exaggeration to say that there is a guard post every three steps and a sentry every five steps.

Walking in such a large courtyard, Wang Cuilan felt that she had to walk lightly and did not dare to act rashly.

But the triplets had none of Wang Cuilan's concerns. They strolled around the compound as if they were at home, feeling very comfortable. When they met the young man standing guard, they waved and said hello.

Seeing that her three children once again accurately called out the name of the little soldier on guard, Wang Cuilan couldn't help it.

"Dabao, Erbao, Sanbao, how do you know the names of these little brothers?"

"Do you know these little brothers?" But then he thought that was not right. Although the triplets came to the old man's place frequently, they basically stayed in the small red building.

Even when the old man was free and wanted to take the triplets out to play, he would usually take them to the homes of those old men.

They had very little contact with these little soldiers on guard duty, and these little soldiers were not allowed to talk unless necessary while on guard duty. So how did the triplets become familiar with these little soldiers?

There is no such opportunity?

Sanbao blinked: "I don't know him, but my brother knows him!"

He was particularly confident and said, "My second child and I can just follow him and shout!"

Wang Cuilan choked and looked at Dabao: "How did Dabao know these little brothers?"

As the mother and her children were talking, they unknowingly came to a small pavilion specially provided for people to rest. The pavilion was decorated in an antique style and was very charming.

An old lady was resting in the pavilion. Upon hearing the conversation between Wang Cuilan and her son, she said kindly, "I guess Dabao remembered it the last time your old man Xie took him to watch the soldiers train."

"Your Dabao has a good memory. He can remember everyone he's met once." The old lady obviously liked the three children very much. When she saw them, she waved and said, "Come, Dabao, Erbao, Sanbao, come to Grandma Tang."

"Grandma, here are some freshly made chestnut cakes!"

The triplets glanced at Wang Cuilan, and after getting Wang Cuilan's nod, they stepped forward.

"Grandma, did you make the chestnut cake? It's so delicious!" Sanbao is a sweet-talker. As soon as he put the chestnut cake in his mouth, he started to praise her.

Old Mrs. Tang was so happy with his coaxing that she kept saying "eat more if it tastes good."

Sanbao nodded, his cheeks bulging with food, and he didn't forget to say good things.

Wang Cuilan almost wanted to cover her face. She and Xie Zheng were not shameless people. Who did Sanbao take after?

"Mom!" Hearing the voice, Wang Cuilan looked down and saw Dabao holding up his little hand with a piece of chestnut cake to feed her. Wang Cuilan was immediately moved.

Pushing Dabao's little hand back, "Mommy doesn't want to eat, Dabao eats it by himself."

"Mom." Dabao was very stubborn and insisted that Wang Cuilan eat. Erbao and Sanbao also followed suit and wanted to feed their mother.

Seeing this, Mrs. Tang smiled and said, "It's a thoughtful gesture, kid. Just eat it if I tell you to!"

Wang Cuilan then took a small bite of each person's chestnut cake and said, "Okay, Mommy has eaten it, you can eat the rest by yourselves."

Seeing that their mother had no intention of eating anymore, the three children stopped feeding her and started eating their own food obediently.

Old Mrs. Tang originally liked triplets, and now that she saw how filial they were, she loved them even more. She really wished the triplets were her own children.

"Cui Lan, tell grandma how you raised your three children. Why are they so smart and filial?"

The old lady also has great-grandchildren, but she likes the eldest grandson's child the most. However, this child is not as lovable as his father was when he was a child. He is already six years old, and he still needs someone to chase him and feed him when he eats.

Whenever there is something delicious at home, he wants it all to be his. He has no sense of sharing at all. The old lady gets a headache every time she sees him.

In the past, the old lady’s husband saw that Mr. Xie often brought the triplets with him, so he thought of taking his great-grandchildren to raise them.

As a result, after only three days, her father asked his eldest grandson's wife to take the person away.

I will never talk about taking my great-grandson in to raise him again.

I really can’t afford to be hurt!

They had common topics, and even though the old lady and Wang Cuilan were almost sixty years old, they still got along very well.

Before they knew it, an hour had passed. It was only when Mrs. Tang's aunt came to visit that the two of them waved goodbye.

After watching the old lady walk away, Wang Cuilan called out to the triplets who were happily playing with other children not far away, "Dabao, Erbao, Sanbao, we've been playing outside for an hour. It's time to go back, otherwise Dad will come looking for us later."

Upon hearing this, the three children said something to their friends, then came back, held their mother’s hand, and went back.

Wang Cuilan was a little surprised to see the three children come back so quickly. When the other children were having a great time, they would always be reluctant to come back and would dawdle and delay.

But her three children don’t seem to have this problem?

Wang Cuilan was worried about her three children not getting along well with the other kids, so she asked them, "Are Dabao, Erbao, and Sanbao not having fun playing with the other kids? Mommy saw you were leaving, and none of you looked reluctant."

Dabao: "They are so stupid! The games they play are so childish!"

Erbao: "They are still very delicate. I don't dare to use too much force when playing with them."

I’m afraid that I’ll make them cry again, and then their families will come to find me. It’s so annoying!

Sanbao looked at his brother and then at his sister: "Dabao and Erbao don't want to play with them anymore, and Sanbao doesn't want to play with them either."

Wang Cuilan: “….”
