Chapter 587 Meeting 2

Song Lili is her enemy, both in the past and now.

Therefore, she wished she could eat flesh and drink blood, and make this person suffer a terrible death.

"Yes, I have children now too. I have to thank you for that, otherwise I wouldn't have the life I have now."

Back then, when she ran away, she had no letter of introduction, so she couldn't prove herself and dared not go anywhere, nor could she go anywhere.

Finally, after several moves, they settled down.

It was because of Wang Li's parents that she was able to re-register her household registration, and the price she paid was to marry Wang Li, because Wang Li liked her.

Everything is like this because of Song Lili. It's all because of her that things have turned out this way.

So how could she not hate? Otherwise, she would have had a better future.

Therefore, Song Lili, we are irreconcilable enemies.

"You're welcome," Song Lili replied calmly.

She also noticed that the more indifferent she appeared, the angrier Luo Juan became, and the less she could control herself.

Only when a person is angry will they reveal their flaws and allow others to exploit their pain.

So, Luo Juan, burn brightly!

"You..." Luo Juan was even angrier, but she still remembered to control herself and not act like last time.

She took a deep breath before fixing her venomous gaze on Song Lili once more. "Song Lili, I underestimated you before."

"I didn't expect you to be able to unite with the townspeople so early on, but I won't do that now." We'll wait and see.

Song Lili raised an eyebrow in surprise. Had Luo Juan figured it out? Had she figured out that she had an accomplice back then?

But so what? Things are different now. She no longer needs to be afraid of Luo Juan, and Luo Juan will not put her in danger because of fabricated charges.

Now, since they are all from out of town, it all depends on everyone's methods.

"Whatever makes you happy." After saying that, Song Lili ignored Luo Juan. The school gate was open and some children were already leaving. She needed to find Xiao Chen and didn't have time to argue with this woman.

"You..." Under Zhang Qinghua's cold gaze, Luo Juan ultimately remained silent, also looking towards the school gate, but her eyes were cold and indifferent.

Soon, Xiao Chen came out, followed by his teacher; they came out together.

Song Lili, nicknamed "Xiao Chen," happily ran over and greeted the teacher. Only then did the teacher say, "I asked you to pick him up today because I have something to tell you."

"Teacher Wen, did Xiao Chen get into trouble?" Song Lili asked tentatively, thinking it was unlikely, as the child was very well-behaved.

"No, no, it's just that Zhang Chen is a very smart child, and I just wanted to ask what your plans are as parents?"

"Teacher Wen, what do you mean?" Song Lili understood a little.

"I wanted to ask if you have any plans, such as providing him with the necessary resources to study in depth?" In other words, do you have any tutoring opportunities?

“We respect the child’s wishes. If he wants to, we won’t stop him,” Song Lili said with a smile.

She didn't want to force the child; she would support Xiaochen as long as he wanted to.

She has that ability now.

"Okay, I understand. You can go now." Teacher Wen said just a few words and then left.

"Xiao Chen, do you want to learn something else?" Song Lili asked Xiao Chen on the way.

"What else?" Xiao Chen was in a good mood because her parents had come to pick her up, and she was jumping around on the side.

"For example, painting, calligraphy, music, is there anything you'd like to learn?"

"I don't know." Xiao Chen shook his head; he had never thought about it.

"Then take your time to think about it. As long as it's something you want to do, and it's not bad, Mom will support you." Song Lili touched his face. In the blink of an eye, her child had grown up so much, and she was already thirty years old.

Xiao Chen nodded, not taking it to heart.

Song Lili didn't say anything, and went home with her child and husband.

That evening, Song Lili revealed her plan: "Let's go back home for the New Year and stay for half a month before coming back."

It's like going home for the Chinese New Year; the store can just stay closed for the next two weeks.

"Really?" Sure enough, Zhang Shengtian was the happiest. This was a wonderful surprise for him.

"Of course, I plan to close the store for half a month so that everyone can go home and celebrate the New Year properly." Consider it a perk.

"Alright, you guys hurry up and pack. We'll buy tickets tomorrow, and leave whenever we can." Zhang Shengtian was full of energy.

Others had no objections, and they didn't care; anywhere was fine with them.

The next day, Zhang Qingguo bought the tickets for an evening departure, which arrived at noon.

Everyone hurriedly packed up and headed straight for the train station, heading home.

Once on the train and with some free time, Song Lili breathed a sigh of relief, finally getting Zhang Shengtian what he wanted.

After the Lunar New Year, there will be about two weeks left, which is just enough time to adjust and wait for school to start.

It's almost Chinese New Year, and hot pot restaurants will probably be deserted. It's not like later years when eating out during the New Year is common.

What's upsetting is that I ran into Luo Juan and her husband Wang Li here again, but I didn't see the child.

Maybe they forgot to bring it.

Zhang Shengtian was meeting Luo Juan for the first time and didn't recognize her at first, while Zhang Qingguo recognized her almost immediately.

"Luo Juan?" He looked at the person who had just entered the carriage in surprise.

"Qingguo? Are you going home?" Luo Juan didn't expect to run into Zhang Qingguo so coincidentally.

Then, turning his eyes, he saw Zhang Qinghua and his wife, Zhang Shengtian, and their three children standing beside him.

"Uncle Shengtian," Luo Juan called out.

Zhang Shengtian then realized, "Juanzi? It's you! What are you doing here?" Then he realized, "Are you home for the New Year?"

"Yes," Luo Juan nodded, her expression indifferent, as if seeing Song Lili made her feel bad.

"That's good. You haven't been back for so many years, and your grandparents miss you terribly. It's good for you to go see them and put their minds at ease," Zhang Shengtian said with emotion.

Luo Juan's face stiffened for a moment. Speaking of Luo Weijia, her heart ached as if stabbed by needles, and the venom of hatred she felt couldn't help but seep out again.

Fearing she might lose control, she quickly pulled Wang Li over and said, "Uncle, this is my husband, his name is Wang Li." This was a way of diverting her attention.

"Not bad, the young man looks quite spirited, very good." Zhang Shengtian laughed heartily.

Wang Li quickly and respectfully greeted him, "Hello, Uncle." Then, he greeted him with a smile.

"Hello, hello." Zhang Shengtian was very happy. This was a child he had watched grow up, and now that he had found him, he should be happy.

Before, Luo Juan ran away without saying a word. Seeing Luo Weijia's state, he felt terrible.

Although it's said that this child killed someone and ran away, no one has seen him! Maybe it's just a wish?

He simply couldn't believe that a child he'd watched grow up could be so wicked as to commit murder.

She's always been a good kid, how could that be?
