Chapter 757 Cooperation Methods

Qian Liulin had a smile on his face the whole time, but Song Lili could tell that his smile was starting to crack.

Song Lili said with a smile, "There is a saying in our country, 'When in Rome, do as the Romans do.' When you go to another country, you should try the local cuisine."

"Your country makes the most authentic steak; no other place can compare. Why don't you come and try some of our pretty good food?" Song Lili offered a small compliment.

Sure enough, those people acted as if they had discussed something of great importance, looking quite proud of themselves.

Then, the gazes directed at Song Lili softened, and the leader even nodded approvingly.

“My friend, you’re absolutely right. We should experience the culture of this country.”

"We can save the steak for when we get home. Let's go eat some of your local cuisine instead."

"Song, we hope you can give us some good advice."

Song Lili stood up. "No problem, it's absolutely delicious, you won't be able to stop eating it!" Hehe!

Then, with a wave of his hand, he said, "Let's change locations."

"Lili, where are you planning to take them?" Qian Liulin asked on the way.

“Let’s go to my hot pot restaurant,” Song Lili replied, glancing casually at Qian Liulin.

"Lili, you can't do this recklessly." Qian Liulin quickly grabbed Song Lili. Why did it feel like Lili was about to do something drastic? He was a little scared. What should he do?

"Brother Qian, what's wrong with messing around at my shop? My place is just as good as yours, okay? Besides, the hot pot is really delicious and tasty."

"You..." Qian Liulin looked at Song Lili suspiciously. Could she be up to something else?

Song Lili shrugged. "Then tell me, what other ideas do you have? Go ahead, if you have any good ideas, I'll listen to you."

Qian Liulin really... had no other ideas.

The main problem is that this group of people is too difficult to deal with; they're never satisfied with anything. Now that they've finally relented, he really doesn't want to refuse.

"Are you really not up to any other ideas? Lili, you can't mess around with things that go in your mouth." He was afraid that Lili would cause trouble in order to retaliate.

Song Lili couldn't help but roll her eyes. "You'd like to, but I don't. I don't want to ruin my reputation."

Qian Liulin thought about it and realized that it made sense. This hot pot restaurant belonged to Lili, and she wouldn't cause him any trouble.

With that thought, Qian Liulin felt relieved and didn't stop him. He happily followed along to the hot pot restaurant, as he hadn't had hot pot in a long time.

What happened next made Qian Liulin realize that he had been thinking too simply.

Upon arriving at the hot pot restaurant, Song Lili led everyone directly to a private room, which had only recently been opened.

It's designed for people who don't want to be disturbed; there aren't many private rooms, only about four or five.

This was set up by Song Lili after she bought the shop next door, and it's coming in handy now.

Before eating, Song Lili told the delegation members, "This may be a bit spicy. If you are not used to it, you can let us know and we can skip it."

The words were kind, but when paired with that perfectly timed contempt in the eyes, they were enough to infuriate anyone.

Sure enough, it immediately aroused the opponent's competitive spirit. "It's okay, we can do it." And then, they even received support.

Song Lili smiled inwardly, "Very good!"

“If you haven’t eaten like this before, I don’t recommend it, otherwise your stomach will feel uncomfortable,” Song Lili continued to “suggest.”

But the Russian was determined; he just wanted to eat spicy food.

Song Lili nodded, smiled and went out, then her smile turned into a sly grin, waiting for the show to begin.

Song Lili approached the store manager and said, "Give us the spiciest one, and hurry up."

Even the store manager hesitated, "Boss, should we get the spiciest one? But none of them seem like people who can handle spicy food!" What if they're not satisfied?

"Don't worry, they won't say anything even if they're not satisfied. Just pretend you don't know anything," Song Lili waved her hand.

I ordered the spiciest version because I saw they couldn't eat it; otherwise, how could I make them feel uncomfortable?

"Come back, come back." He called to the shop manager who was about to leave. "Pour everyone a glass of water. You don't need to worry about the rest."

"Also, you have to remind them to do their jobs properly. I don't want to embarrass myself abroad." And it's still with people I don't get along with.

"Okay, I'll keep an eye on it myself." Only then did the store manager turn and leave.

Song Lili sighed on the spot, and returned to the private room a while later.

We still have to consider that they are foreign friends, so we can't go too far, otherwise they won't even get a glass of water.

When the hot pot was served, the layer of bright red chili oil drew everyone's attention to Song Lili.

They all stared at Song Lili in disbelief, their eyes clearly asking, "What's going on?"

Qian Liulin could only sigh. It seemed he had been too complacent. But he couldn't discuss it with Song Lili in front of these people, so he could only watch as Song Lili introduced the old man to the Russian.

The waiter came in and poured everyone a glass of water. Everyone immediately understood. Qian Liulin could only sigh helplessly. He couldn't do anything about Lili, no matter how much he wanted to talk to her.

Finally, stand up... and ask the waiter to prepare more plain water, just in case these people can't handle the spiciness, it will help them feel better.

Sure enough, after only a short while, the group of people were sweating profusely from the spiciness, sucking on the food with their mouths open.

The people on Song Lili's side were a bit better off; everyone was able to eat a little bit.

Some people are clever; they rinse the food in plain water before eating it, so it's not as spicy.

In the end, everyone finished the hot pot like this: their lips were red from the spiciness, and their eyes were wet.

But there's always a really great feeling about it.

Surprisingly, the foreign friends showed no dissatisfaction and even said that it was really delicious, leaving Qian Liulin helpless.

That afternoon, I accompanied them to several places. Everyone dispersed early. Song Lili ran fast and was not caught by Qian Liulin.

When she went to the hotel the next morning, Qian Liulin gave her a resentful look.

"Brother Qian, don't look at me like that, or I'll get scared." There was a creepy feeling about it.

"Lili, you've really given me a lot of trouble this time!" Qian Liulin said leisurely, looking into the distance.

"What happened?" Song Lili asked, puzzled. Had she gotten into trouble after just taking a nap? That seemed unlikely.

"The entire delegation had diarrhea last night and it took them all night to feel better. They can't go out today, so you should go back."

It was all because of that hotpot meal we had yesterday. It had been brewing all afternoon, and it finally exploded in the evening.

He was hurriedly called over and had been busy all morning. Now that he had finally stopped to rest for a while, he saw Song Lili, the culprit, and could only vent his resentment.

"Oh, they're so fragile? They even have diarrhea? How pitiful." Song Lili chuckled to herself.

"Stop pretending, you're doing this on purpose." Qian Liulin exposed Song Lili's pretense.

Why am I not actually angry, but rather feel a sense of relief?

Because Lili made it very clear yesterday, but they insisted on doing it this way, so who can be blamed?
