Question 2 of Chapter 864

"Hey, if you have something to do, go ahead and take care of it. Leave the kids to me. I really like Xinyi, don't I?"

He tossed Xinyi around, smiling as he asked, his eyes full of affection.

“Yes, I like Grandpa too.” Xinyi sat on Zhang Shengtian’s lap, kicking her little legs happily, and said loudly.

"Xinyi only likes her grandfather, doesn't she like her maternal grandfather?" Song Yongren suddenly asked, pretending to be very sad.

"I...I like it." Xinyi and her three kind-hearted children couldn't bear to see their grandfather sad, so they quickly said.

Then she added, "I like my grandfather, and I also like my maternal grandfather." Then she looked nervously at Song Yongren, wondering if her maternal grandfather would be sad now.

Song Yongren looked pleasantly surprised. "Really? Xinyi likes her grandfather?"

Xinyi nodded very seriously, "I like it, I like it very, very much." Her expression was serious, as if this was something very important.

"Oh, that's great!" Song Yongren laughed happily, the kind of hearty laugh that shows he's in a wonderful mood.

Song Lili shook her head helplessly. How come Da Da suddenly has such a mischievous side? Has he reached the age where he's like a child again?

She ignored the people outside and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone.

Just as Song Lili and the three store managers had predicted, no one volunteered to go to the other countries; none of them wanted to go.

After thinking it over for several days, Song Lili decided to go herself to see if it would be effective.

“I know you have reservations, but I can tell you that things are different now than before.”

"The problems that happened before will not occur again, so you can go without worry."

"I promise that anyone who goes there will have their salary and bonus doubled, and they will be transferred back immediately once the work there is completed."

"I won't let you stay there indefinitely. Of course, if you want to stay, that's not my problem."

"So, now, does anyone want to go?" Song Lili asked, looking at the employees standing in two rows.

Then came a moment of silence. No one spoke; everyone stood there silently.

Song Lili was neither in a hurry nor urging anyone, and remained silent until a faint sound came out, at which point she said, "I'll give you three days. After three days, if anyone is willing to go, they should talk to the store manager. The conditions I've given you will remain valid. I hope you will consider them."

Song Lili visited three different places that day, saying almost the same things each time, before finally going home.

Now, all that's left is to wait, to wait for someone to volunteer to step forward.

She didn't say what would happen if no one came after three days, but she already had an idea in her mind.

If no one goes, then we'll have to assign someone. But Song Lili doesn't want to do that.

This was a last resort; Song Lili probably didn't want it to come to this.

After all, she didn't want to force anyone, even if the treatment was generous, it was essentially coercion.

However, there's a possibility she can't ignore.

If she could, Song Lili would like to go out on her own.

In my previous life, I never went abroad and always stayed within the country, never having the chance to go out and see the world.

Now she has the opportunity, but she can't go because everything here depends on her.

The hot pot restaurant can't be left unattended for too long. As for the garment factory, although Song Lili doesn't need to worry about it, there are still some things she needs to keep an eye on.

The two people I'm most worried about are Wang Daming and Daqing. Although they've started to figure things out on their own, there are many stumbles and falls along the way. They're just starting out, so it's easy for them to make mistakes.

Therefore, Song Lili cannot go. Only when the two of them are truly capable of handling things independently can she completely let go and allow them to do things on their own.

Moreover, she has a large family here, and her three children are all minors, so she can't be away for too long.

Therefore, due to various factors, she was unable to go in person and could only choose from among the staff.

However, to Song Lili's delight, it was no longer a case of no one volunteering to go; several people seemed to have expressed interest.

Song Lili wasn't in a hurry and waited for them to make a decision.

Song Lili has been going back to the store every day for the past few days to observe and see who is interested.

Secondly, if anyone has any questions, she can answer them in person, making things clearer for everyone.

Once the people who will go are confirmed, the subsequent work can begin.

Song Lili hadn't expected that the first step would be so difficult, which gave her a real headache.

On the third day, Song Lili received confirmation from two people saying they wanted to go, but they needed to meet with Song Lili first.

The people who came were a man and a woman, both in their twenties.

“You can ask any questions you have now,” Song Lili said, looking at the two of them.

The man didn't speak, but after hesitating for a long time, the woman timidly asked, "If I want to come back in the future, can I really come back?"

Song Lili nodded, "Of course, I can't just leave you there unattended."

“You’re going there to work on behalf of my hot pot restaurant, so naturally I’m responsible for you. Once everything is on track there, you can come back.”

The woman breathed a sigh of relief, then explained somewhat embarrassedly, "I... I'm the only one supporting my family. My younger brother is still young, not yet an adult. So..."

Song Lili understood, and could probably guess, that this person valued the benefits and therefore wanted to leave.

Judging from what she said, her family situation seemed to be not very good, so she needed money, which naturally made this a good choice.

Song Lili understood. She also knew that there was nothing she was dissatisfied with.

This is their private matter, and she doesn't really care much about it. She just needs to make sure the other person doesn't make any mistakes at work.

So, without letting the girl continue, he said, "You don't need to explain to me. Just do your job well, and my promise to you will remain unchanged."

Having understood the girl, Song Lili then looked at the boy. The girl was after money, but what was the boy after?

Song Lili raised an eyebrow at the boy, and then the boy belatedly realized what was happening. It seemed he should explain.

"I'm just curious, so I want to go out and see the world. I want to hear my teacher talk about everything in the world, but I've never seen it with my own eyes, so I'm curious. I want to go and see for myself."

Song Lili understood; this person wanted to go out and see the world.

She remembered that this boy had joined the company after graduating from university. Song Lili wasn't surprised at all that he had such thoughts.

So I wasn't too surprised; I thought it was normal.

The girl was quite surprised, not expecting the boy's reason to be this. She had thought that the boy, like her, had no choice but to go out because his family was poor.

Oh, it wasn't that. It turns out he just wanted to go out and see the world.
