Vice Mayor Xu's wife stood by the car watching Su Yu, waiting for Su Yu to walk over.
Su Yu nodded to her, then parted ways with the other classmates, and said to Li Ping, "Li Ping, remember to show your dad the newspaper when you get back. You need to let people know about your grades. Otherwise, it'll be like wearing fine clothes in the dark."

The other students glanced at Xu Lili, then walked away curiously, while Xu Lili's face flushed red. Although she liked to use connections, she felt it wasn't very presentable to do it in front of so many classmates.
"My mom is looking for you."
Su Yu glanced at Vice Mayor Xu's wife, then suddenly realized, "Oh dear, why didn't you come earlier? I thought she was here to pick you up. What does Auntie want? My boyfriend is still here. Why don't you ask her to come over? Her car is too conspicuous; people might think I'm going back by car."
Xu Lili blushed and turned to run towards Vice Mayor Xu's wife. After exchanging a few words, Vice Mayor Xu's wife came over.
Su Yu stood there, smiling as she watched her approach.
Secretary Song frowned and said, "What does she want from you? Is she trying to make things difficult for you?" If she dared to bully his girlfriend right in front of him, she would really think he was a dead man.
"Don't worry about it for now, I'll handle it." Su Yu still looked at Vice Mayor Xu's wife with a smile, her face full of enthusiasm.
Upon hearing Su Yu's instructions, Secretary Song pushed his bicycle aside to make room for his partner. However, he kept his ears open, ready to hear what Vice Mayor Xu's wife had to say. If she bullied him, he would definitely not be polite.
