Chapter 11 Fairy Sister

Fan Xiaofan was a little angry.

Upon seeing this child, strange memories began to surface in her mind.

The little, sickly person was trapped in the house. Although there was no beating or scolding, hearing the lively family outside, she could only curl up at the foot of the bed, which was even more heartbreaking.

"Yunli, have a piece of meat."

A young man with a hoarse voice said, "The young lady isn't feeling well, let's get her a bowl of meat soup."

Then came the woman's voice: "Her body is beyond repair, why waste it? You guys drink it."

"Big brother, she's an idiot. She won't even know how good something is if she eats it."

She took a few steps, squatted down, and sighed. This child shared a similar plight with her, a similar plight to her own.

She was angry. How could there be such a bad relative?

Family members should support each other and love each other, just like in her previous life.

The little boy remained motionless. As she moved closer, she could see how frighteningly thin he was. His small body made his head appear disproportionately large, and his face was all skin and bones. He was covered in injuries, but he only clutched his stomach.

Being hungry is worse than being in pain.

Fan Xiaofan looked around and, finding no one else nearby, quickly stuffed the small bread she had been carrying in her bosom, which she had intended to exchange for something at the black market, into the little boy's mouth.

The little boy, who had his eyes closed, sensed the food and instinctively swallowed it like a wolf, almost biting Fan Xiaofan's finger.

He opened his eyes, looking at Fan Xiaofan with alarm and shame. It was the fairy sister who had spoken up for him earlier.

The fairy sister gave him food, but he almost bit her.

But what exactly did I just eat? It was soft, fragrant, and sweet—it must be something only immortals would eat.

Fan Xiaofan thought he was frightened by her, so she took out another pack of compressed biscuits, a total of six, and stuffed them into the little boy's arms, whispering, "Don't let anyone find out, hide them well, or you won't have any to eat."

She didn't know what she could do, but she still wanted to reach out and help this poor child.

All we can do is give him some food.

Watching Fan Xiaofan's departing figure, Fu Weidong gazed greedily at her back. He wanted to remember the fairy sister's face, and from then on...

Thinking about this, Fu Weidong felt somewhat frustrated. What would happen in the future?

He's so young, he can't even take care of himself, how can he repay the fairy sister?

Fu Weidong carefully hid the things left behind by the fairy sister in one of his secret treasure places, then glared fiercely at the door in front of him.

He wasn't a child of the Tian family at all. Even during those difficult times, the eggs the Tian family had were brought to him by his family.

They thought they were too young to remember, but he knew everything.

Sooner or later, he would teach that family a lesson, Fu Weidong thought bitterly.

The sweet taste still lingered in his mouth, and thinking of the fairy sister from earlier, Fu Weidong's wolfish eyes softened a little.

The Tian family naturally didn't want him to know too much, but they couldn't resist Tian Guoqing's deliberate boasting.

When Fu Weidong first learned from him that he had a family, he kept hoping that his family would come to pick him up. At that time, the Tian family did not dare to go so far. Although they reduced his food, they did not beat or scold him.

Until recently, he didn't know what news they received, but the whole family's attitude changed. He deliberately tried to get information out of Tian Guoqing and learned that something seemed to have happened to his family and that they would no longer be sending things.
