Chapter 193 Identity Issues

Fan Xiaofan pointed to a line of black and white writing. Director Fang leaned over and saw that it read: "Comrade Zuo Yun works hard, but his left hand was injured in an accident and has difficulty moving."

"What's wrong?"

Factory Director Fang had never met this Zuo Yun before and didn't know anything about him.

Fan Xiaofan had noticed Zuo Yun's unusual behavior earlier and memorized Zuo Yun's every move as if it were a machine copying and pasting.

Therefore, she knew very well that Zuo Yun, whom she had just seen, was very nimble with her left hand. Even after noticing her gaze on her, she subconsciously reached out her left hand to smooth the stray hairs on her forehead.

"The Zuo Yun I met was incredibly agile with his left hand."

Factory Director Fang was also aware of the situation and immediately realized that something was wrong: "I understand. Just pretend you don't know anything about this. I will investigate it thoroughly in secret."

Fan Xiaofan nodded. Since Director Fang already understood her meaning, she didn't say anything more.

Zuo Yun's behavior was really too strange, and she keenly sensed that her purpose was most likely to be herself. Otherwise, she would not have chosen to target her neighbor Ji Sanfu, nor would she have given herself away as soon as she saw her.

Fan Xiaofan wasn't good at investigating these kinds of things. Since Factory Director Fang had already raised his guard, she happily decided to hand the matter over to him. As for herself...

Well, by lunchtime at the restaurant, being hungry is a big problem.

Although the canteen still served cornbread, potatoes, and cabbage, it was enough to fill her stomach, so she didn't mind. However, she could only eat a tiny bit of the cornbread each time, as she had difficulty swallowing and mostly relied on vegetables to fill her stomach.

The cafeteria worker had served Fan Xiaofan her meal. Now that the busy time had passed, she was about to turn around and leave when the worker shyly rubbed his apron...

Fan Xiaofan took a step back in fright. Could it be that her master had taken a liking to her?

As it turns out, people should never overthink things.

"Xiao Fan..."

The master chef's voice gave Fan Xiaofan goosebumps, but she remained calm and forced a smile, asking, "Is there something you need?"

The head chef chuckled awkwardly and said, "Well, my niece wants to apply for a job at our factory, so she asked me to inquire about it."

Fan Xiaofan breathed a sigh of relief. "Master, do you have to go to such lengths to ask me something?"

She glanced down at the extra bits of meat in her potato and cabbage dish and said quietly, "It should be soon. Tell her to get ready."

The master craftsman said, "The recruitment conditions at the textile factory are very strict. Once you pass the exam, you have a secure job. But the recruitment information is also very important. Knowing it in advance means you can prepare accordingly."

After finishing lunch, Fan Xiaofan returned to the technical office and continued working.

Unbeknownst to them, Factory Director Fang had already summoned personnel from the factory's human resources department to thoroughly investigate Zuo Yun's identity...

Ji Sanfu was also summoned and questioned about all his conversations with Zuo Yun, one by one.

Ji Sanfu was an honest man. When Zuo Yun spoke to him, he usually wanted to stay far away and didn't like to respond. However, he had a good memory and repeated Zuo Yun's words one by one.

Zuo Yun's side, however, was full of loopholes. If her identity wasn't carefully investigated, it wouldn't be a problem, but a careful comparison with the information made it easy to find flaws.

As for her supposed relationship with Ji Sanfu, pressing her for details revealed numerous problems, clearly indicating an attempt to frame her.
