Chapter 213 Good News About Recruitment (shuhaige.net)

Fan Xiaofan was unaware of the letter from Beidu, and she had no interest in it. Her last trip there had caused quite a stir, so she had forgotten about the Fan family.

Now, because of this sudden natural disaster, she realizes that what she has done is just a drop in the ocean, but a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

So I've been thinking about what else I can do these past two days.

I stayed in the technical office, writing and drawing with a pen in my hand.

Seeing that she had a serious, stern face, Master Wang and the others didn't disturb her.

Because of the previous laundry issues at home, Fan Xiaofan was thinking about getting a washing machine. A fully automatic one was probably out of the question right now, so a semi-automatic one would be fine too.

The pen in my hand moved quickly, sketching simple lines.

The refrigerator blueprints were completed at the refrigeration plant and things were on track. The next steps were not Fan Xiaofan's forte; she just needed to do her job.

However, judging from Mr. Lin's tone, it is not hard to tell that the refrigerators are selling well, and production is even struggling to keep up.

I heard they've hired quite a few more workers...

The rumbling of machines in the textile factory yard created a peaceful atmosphere amidst the noise.

Recently, due to machine improvements and natural disasters, people in the surrounding villages are all frowning, and the whole of Qingcheng is shrouded in gloom. Even President Xu finds it distressing.

Just then, the textile factory needed to expand its workforce, so they immediately released the news.

Suddenly, the recruitment drive became quite lively.

After all, who wouldn't like a worker's secure job? It means food, a stable income, and plenty of monthly benefits.

President Xu finally breathed a sigh of relief. In this day and age, we need more good news to cheer us up.

Fan Xiaofan had been focusing on drawing these days. By the time she came out, the factory's expansion had been completed, resulting in many new faces.

That day, she was eating at the factory canteen when the head chef was all smiles and gave her an extra spoonful: "What have you been so busy with these days? I haven't seen you come out to eat at all. I wanted to thank you but I didn't have a chance."

They gave me an extra, plump, white steamed bun.

Fan Xiaofan was completely bewildered.

The head chef chuckled and said, "My niece got the job, you're such a benefactor! If it weren't for you helping her review, she might still be in trouble..."

Fan Xiaofan had long forgotten about this matter, but her master reminded her, and she quickly said congratulations.

In fact, the recruitment situation is predictable. Machine improvements will naturally lead to increased production, and increased production will naturally require more workers.

The master chef chuckled, thinking that Fan Xiaofan had a really good personality. He thought to himself, "You see, some people are so arrogant. If you don't bring them good things, who would be willing to tell you this kind of news?"

Fan Xiaofan finally snapped out of her reverie about the washing machine. No wonder there were so many unfamiliar faces; they were actually hiring.

She was carrying the food and was about to leave when someone bumped into her from behind, ignoring her and saying, "There are steamed buns, how come she has some behind me but I don't?"

The head chef rolled his eyes and tapped the dining instructions next to him.

A girl behind the girl, who looked somewhat timid and unwilling to cause trouble, tugged at her: "Xiaoting, it says on the sign that you have to tell them in advance before they'll prepare the steamed buns."

Fan Xiaofan glanced silently at the steamed buns on her plate; she hadn't informed them beforehand.

But the head chef raised his round head; he'd been preparing things for someone all along...
