Chapter 673 A real man, not a fussy woman.

The girl beside Fan Ziyan, however, stared at them suspiciously and asked in a spoiled manner, "Who are you?"

Her gaze fell on Fan Xiaofan, and she looked at him as if he were a rival in love.

Fan Xiaofan touched himself, wondering if he could even be considered one.

Fan Ziyan, on the other hand, gave them an apologetic smile, then tugged at the girl who had spoken.

The girl, sulking, did as he instructed and went to the other side.

Grandpa Fan frowned and asked, "What's going on?"

Fan Ziyan said somewhat embarrassedly, "She is my classmate. I originally wanted to clarify some things with her, but we ended up making a scene."

Fan Xiaofan listened with great interest, and with Fan Ziyan's words, he could vaguely piece together what had happened.

The girl kept glancing at them warily, and they looked at each other with the same angry expression they'd reserved for a love rival…

"She likes you?"

As soon as Fan Xiaofan uttered those words, Fan Ziyan's face turned bright red, like a tomato, and he frantically waved his hands, "No, no, how could I be worthy of her..."

In the past, Fan Ziyan might not have acted this way.

But so much has happened these past few days, and he's made so many mistakes. In facing these challenges, he's unknowingly grown a lot as well.

If it weren't for the Fan family protecting him, he wouldn't be able to continue studying at school with peace of mind, and his paintings are now being praised.

In this environment, everything is about social class and background. If he accepts this girl, he will only be harming her.

But no matter what I said, this young lady was incredibly persistent, becoming even more fixated on him and refusing to listen to anything I said. I had originally planned to take advantage of the trip to the department store today to clear things up with her, but who knew that things would end up escalating into a fight, which my grandparents happened to witness.

But speaking of this...

His eyes suddenly lit up, and he looked at Fan Xiaofan pleadingly, saying, "Xiaofan, please help me, okay?"

Fan Xiaofan pointed to himself with some surprise, then said incredulously, "You're not thinking of using that method, are you?"

Fan Ziyan nodded.

Fan Xiaofan crossed her arms over her chest: "Impossible, absolutely impossible..."

She looked at Fan Ziyan, her eyes wide, and said, "A real man should tell her the truth and let her choose, instead of thinking he's so noble by deceiving her with lies. I think that kind of hurt is much harder to bear."

Do you like her?

Fan Xiaofan stared intently at Fan Ziyan, not letting him look away.

"I……"

Fan Ziyan wanted to say he didn't like it, but the eyes are the windows to the soul, and when someone looked him straight in the eye and asked him such a question, he couldn't bring himself to lie.

The girl was spoiled and willful, but she was like a little sun, giving Fan Ziyan warmth during his darkest time.

"I……"

Xiao Fan is right. His idea is just another form of harm. Can he bear to see the light in this girl's eyes go out because of him?

"Go quickly..."

Fan Xiaofan gave him a push and said with a smile, "If you have any concerns, talk to her clearly. You can't deprive her of her right to choose."

Grandpa and Grandma Fan glared at Fan Ziyan with disdain: "Hurry up and go, you're a grown man, why are you being so indecisive..."

Fan Xiaofan saw Fan Ziyan approach the girl, scratching his head as if he was saying something. The girl was barely holding back her tears, glaring at him fiercely. He looked helpless when he saw the girl crying.
