In Xing Baohua's opinion, it would be difficult for the machinery factory to make its own electronic watch movements.
Buying a ready-made movement is so much easier! Just install the casing and battery, it's that simple. Want something more complicated? Make your own movement.
Forget it! Without a dedicated R&D lab, even if you developed a movement, how many years could you live off it?
Technology is advancing, and so should watch movements. You can't just use a watch movement to fool people.
This was also for the factory's sake, so that there would be someone to take over after he left.
Another crucial reason is that this guy simply doesn't have the time. He's already incredibly busy, how could he possibly have the time to develop a movement for you guys?
It was decided that Shen Jie would be tasked with finding movement components, several models, and collecting as many as possible.
Xing Baohua wants to develop several models, including sporty, diving, and regular types.
With so many models available, Xing Baohua didn't have time to deal with them all. Then he talked to Shen Jie about the calculator motherboard problem; the manufacturer kept supplying defective boards, so they had to switch manufacturers.

Shen Jie said he would go to the manufacturer again to discuss the matter, and that he had already begun looking for alternative manufacturers.
Xing Baohua asked which company they had contacted, but Shen Jie didn't say. He probably feared Xing Baohua still wanted to find a board factory or something similar.
Xing Baohua left Shen Jie's place and went to check on Su Ya.
Su Ya wasn't there, so Hu Jiangyan called out to Xing Baohua when she saw him.
She startled him, wondering if this girl was crazy. He turned and left, since he didn't like her and was a little annoyed by her anyway.
Seeing that Xing Baohua was about to leave, Hu Jiangyan quickly said, "Wait a minute. Hey, don't go."
Xing Baohua stopped and said impatiently, "What is it? I'm busy here."
"Hey, the computer's broken, go get it fixed," Hu Jiangyan said to Xing Baohua.
Even though the computer room was right across the street, Xing Baohua just didn't want to pay her any attention.
"What? My computer's broken, I need it repaired!"
"You know how to fix things, right? Go fix it!" Hu Jiangyan seemed to have no interest in asking a question, speaking in a tone as if she were talking to a subordinate.
This annoyed Xing Baohua, who turned and left.
"Hey! I told you the computer was broken, but you still left. You'll be held responsible for delaying production!" He spoke loudly, as if no one could hear him.
Other offices seemed to have heard the noise; some even peeked out. They only ducked back in when they saw Xing Baohua come downstairs.
Xing Baohua, a director, even if he knows how to fix computers, should have someone of high standing to inform him, instead of just standing at the door shouting "Hey, hey."
It's clearly disrespectful to him, so why give him the cold shoulder? Besides, Xing Baohua has every reason to say that no one told him the computer was broken, and even if Hu Jiangyan said she did, he would still say, "Who does she think she is?"
Moreover, this is different from the situation when I first started repairing computers myself.
After leaving the factory, we went to a repair shop. We found some parts and components and started helping Zou Wenjuan fix the power amplifier.
The next day, after getting the amplifier ready, I went to the electronics factory to get speakers. Since there were also carpenters at the factory, I was able to get the casing done as well.
When Zhang Lin arrived at work, he saw Xing Baohua busy with a pair of small speakers. He went up to her and asked, "Why aren't you working at the machine factory? What are you doing here making speakers?"
“To tell you the truth, you can’t tell my dad or your family! I’ve contracted this factory,” Xing Baohua said.
"Ah, wouldn't your factory fire you if they found out?" Zhang Lin asked in surprise. He really didn't expect that the factory belonged to his cousin. His cousin spoke so calmly, as if he wasn't afraid at all.
"I'd love to be fired! The machinery factory won't let me go for now. Besides, I want to make money, money from America, which is why I started this factory. It's okay, you can help me with it. Just ask me if you don't understand anything about the business!" Xing Baohua said, busying himself with his work.
Zhang Lin sensed that his cousin was in some kind of danger, but he couldn't quite put his finger on why. Perhaps it was because he had an extra job?
After setting up the sound system in the afternoon, Xing Baohua tested it and felt the volume was okay, but the treble was a bit distorted. He guessed it was a problem with the higher-powered speakers, but replacing them didn't seem worthwhile. As long as it produced sound, that was fine; he wasn't expecting much.
I took the small speaker with me to Zou Wenjuan's house.
When Zou's father opened the door and saw Xing Baohua with a speaker, he said loudly, "Why are you bringing things again! Come in quickly."
The sound was so loud that Xing Baohua's ears were ringing.
Xing Baohua wondered, was it really necessary to make such a loud noise?
When Zou's father saw Xing Baohua bring out the stereo again, his expression turned slightly unpleasant. He thought to himself, "Your family owns a stereo shop, and all you know how to do is bring out stereos. Can't you bring out something else?"
Hearing her father's voice, Zou Wenjuan knew Xing Baohua had arrived. She came out of the room, saw the stereo in Xing Baohua's hand, smiled slightly, and said, "You made this right away? That's fast! Does it work?"
"Remove the 'ma' part, and it'll work! Because I was in a rush, it's a little rough around the edges, but the quality is alright. As for listening, you can appreciate it if you're particular, but it can't compare to these meticulously crafted big machines." Xing Baohua said, placing the small speaker at the door of Zou Wenjuan's bedroom.
"Will you put it on for me tomorrow?" Zou Wenjuan asked.
“If tomorrow won’t work, try finding a male teacher at your school. They could probably help you out of a whole platoon,” Xing Baohua joked.
"Aren't you going to test this?" Zou Wenjuan asked, pointing to the small speaker.
"See those two wires behind the speaker? One is connected to the power supply, and the other is connected to the tape recorder's jack. It's that simple."
Then Zou Wenjuan asked, "Are we recording that song next week?"
“I might not be able to come back next week. I’m going to the provincial capital tomorrow to help the performing arts troupe get two songs. I’ll let you know when I get back to record them. We’ll record a whole tape together and try to sell it as soon as possible,” Xing Baohua explained.
