Chapter 154 First, order five big white waists

The next morning, Xing Baohua was woken up again by a knock on the door.

Zou Wenjuan looked at Xing Baohua with displeasure and said, "What's wrong with you?!"

Xing Baohua looked utterly dejected. He yawned and said, "Wait a minute, I'll go wash my face first."

"Why does your room smell of alcohol? You drank last night. Look at you, I told us to get some rest yesterday, and what did you do? Can't you live without drinking?" she said, trying to come in.

Xing Baohua quickly stopped her, saying, "I need to change my clothes later. Do you want to watch too? Go outside and wait for me."

The room was a complete mess, and we dared not let the girl discover even the slightest clue.

Sure enough, Zou Wenjuan frowned, gave Xing Baohua a disdainful look, and then turned to leave to wait.

While eating breakfast, when she saw Dalia and Jiwa, they greeted Xing Baohua with rosy cheeks and great energy, making the boy feel embarrassed.

The difference is just too huge. Xing Baohua felt like covering his face in embarrassment.

This is something you can't mention; it's not only embarrassing and frustrating, but you also can't brag about it.

Two cars drove out of the guesthouse. The empty car behind belonged to the band and Teacher Li.

I'm going to the recording studio today.

First, we went to the symphony orchestra. The trucks had already arrived to load the equipment.

Several trucks and cars, big and small, were there. Xing Baohua thought to himself, "The freight cost for just one round trip is several hundred yuan."

The radio station's recording studio was indeed huge. The orchestra members had to squeeze in to get a seat.

Except for the drummer, who was seated, everyone else in the electric band was standing, making it a bit crowded. Even so, it was still bigger than the recording studio Xing Baohua had set up.

Xing Baohua wondered whether he should flip over a bigger one.

The thought of spending so much money made me decide to wait until the tapes made money.

The first song was "Cuckoo" written by Xing Baohua. Before recording, Teacher Li listened to Daliya sing it once.

It feels like her voice can't reach high notes; when it does, it cracks and is very unstable.

So they let Kiva join in, and together they looked at the sheet music and tried it out.

Unexpectedly, their duet made up for some of the shortcomings.

So they decided to have the two of them sing this song together.

Kiwa was in charge of the harmony in section B, helping Dalia support the high notes in the high register.

Both of them are professional singers, and although they were singing from sheet music, it did not affect their performance.

Xing Baohua found it rather strange. He had slept so little last night, yet he was still full of energy. Was he really that bad? Or was the other person just too amazing?

Look at Zou Wenjuan next to me; she is intently watching the foreign girl record the video.

Suddenly noticing Xing Baohua looking at her, she turned her head and asked, "Why are you looking at me?"

"It's nothing."

"What's wrong?" Zou Wenjuan muttered, continuing to observe her colleague's skill level.

Although I couldn't understand the lyrics, I could feel the power of the music.

Dozens of violins started playing first, and the sheer scale of the performance made the two foreign girls stand out.

The song was recorded repeatedly, over and over again. It took all morning to finish.

The work continued in the afternoon, and Xing Baohua had to take care of meals for so many people. Fortunately, the radio station had a canteen, and they had arranged for it in advance; the standard rate was 50 cents per person, which was very reasonable.

Let everyone find a place to rest, and we'll start work at 1:30 pm.

In the afternoon, they recorded the electronic instrument tracks, so the two Russian girls didn't need to sing in their natural voices. Therefore, everyone waited outside.

Jiwa winked playfully at Xing Baohua.

Xing Baohua pretended not to see it.

Out of the corner of my eye, I think I saw that girl raise her glass, indicating that she would continue drinking tonight.

Xing Baohua really didn't want to drink with these people who were terrible drinkers. They couldn't hold their liquor but pretended to, and besides, their drinking manners were terrible. They were loud and boisterous and would throw their clothes around.

If you've had too much to drink, just lie down on the bed and quietly get some sleep.

I'm going out to buy some razors in a bit. One for each of us, the kind that shaves everything down to the last hair.

Otherwise, if they all have defensive capabilities, cooperation becomes impossible.

"Let's go buy some wine first. Change the 56-proof to 48-proof Baotu Spring." Xing Baohua estimated that the two girls could finish a bottle.

That way it won't be a waste.

I bought two pounds of spiced peanuts and half a pound of pickled cucumbers from a pickled vegetable vendor. Last night, Jiwa even asked if they had any pickled cucumbers or pickled meat.

Xing Baohua knew about pickled cucumbers, but he'd never actually eaten cured meat. He did have bacon, though, but he didn't have the facilities to make it there!

Going to the cafeteria to cook in the middle of the night, isn't that just asking for trouble?

Xing Baohua bought two cans of luncheon meat from the municipal meat processing plant, but hesitated when he saw the ham sausages.

Forget it, I can't change their taste.

Having a car is so convenient; you can put a lot of things in the car without worrying about people seeing them.

Back in the radio station's recording studio, the two foreign girls had already gone in to record an a cappella performance.

Xing Baohua found Grandpa Li and asked, "Didn't you sing it with the orchestra this morning? Why are you recording it separately?"

"It has left and right channels. The left channel contains vocals and accompaniment, while the right channel is dedicated to accompaniment or vocals. It's not fully produced yet; we'll have to wait and see how the audio tracks are synthesized."

After Mr. Li explained it this way, Xing Baohua recalled that when she used to listen to music with headphones, the vocals were indeed quieter in her left ear and the accompaniment was louder. In her right ear, the accompaniment and vocals were the same, with neither vocals nor accompaniment appearing separately.

Combining the two aspects will produce a stereo effect for the left and right channels.

The radio station's recording equipment is definitely better than the publisher's; they have 32 tracks, while theirs only has 8. That's the difference!

Equipment upgrades are also necessary. Since we've decided to go for high fidelity, we need to replace the equipment. Otherwise, what's the point of playing high fidelity with outdated equipment?

Even if the equipment is not good enough, you can use a virtual graphics card on your computer to make up for it, but that can only work temporarily. If the hardware is not up to par, it is still a defect.

"If these two form a team, aren't you going to give them a name?" Grandpa Li asked.
