Chapter 26 I'm not looking for a relationship.

"Dating, just... just for that?" Su Ya asked in a low voice, her face flushed and her head buried.

"That one?" Xing Baohua didn't hear a few words clearly before she heard the question asked in return.

"Bastard!" Su Ya quickly kicked him and ran away.

Xing Baohua was truly stunned this time; you can never guess what a girl is thinking.

Sometimes, their shifts in thinking are so sudden that even the smartest person can't keep up with them or figure out what they're really thinking.

He paused for a moment, then saw Su Ya run back. This time, slightly out of breath, she said to Xing Baohua, "I, we, friends."

"Yes, I've always considered you a friend," Xing Baohua nodded in response.

No, it's not.

"Hmm~" Xing Baohua was stunned again. What was he trying to say with these contradictory statements?

"We, we'll be friends first, no, not like that." After saying this, Su Ya dashed away at top speed, her two braids swinging back and forth, causing her slender waist to sway.

Completely dumbfounded

My brain completely shut down, like a computer.

It took her a while to come to her senses, and she muttered to herself, "I didn't want to be in a relationship!"

Xing Baohua looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle, sighed, and muttered to herself, "That's it! But I don't want to be in a relationship, but I want that."

This guy wants to endure it for another two years, waiting for society to gradually open up before letting loose.

Unfortunately, she was the one who got the confession.

If they were to announce their relationship now, he would probably become a public enemy.

I got back to workshop one a little late, and the foreigners were already working hard there.

The female translator remained steadfast at her post, glancing sideways at Xing Baohua as he approached.

The foreigners waved and greeted Xing Baohua when he arrived. They thought it was normal for a manager-level figure to arrive a little late.

Su Ya arrived about half an hour later. Her face was clean, but still a little flushed. She was a bit shy when she saw Xing Baohua.

Xing Baohua acted as if nothing was wrong, continuing to chat and translate as usual.

Anyway, he doesn't understand large-scale machinery.

Through chatting, Xing Baohua learned the identity of George, the leader.

He is an engineer in a department of the electrical company under General Electric. The other two were transferred to his team from other departments.

George's status as an engineer is quite prestigious in China, but at GM, well, if you throw a brick at him, you'll lose at least nine engineers.

After finally making it to the end of the workday, Xing Baohua told the three foreigners that he was leaving first to prepare for the party dinner. He then instructed Su Ya to take the three foreigners to his shop after work.

Xing Baohua saw Hou Liwei just before he was about to leave the factory. He walked up to him, grabbed him by the collar, and lifted him up.

He said dismissively to Hou Liwei, whose face was turning red, "You told Su Ya that you didn't agree to us dating? Who do you think you are, meddling so much? Who's got the nerve to stick your thing out like that, trying to act all high and mighty?"

Fortunately, no one was around, otherwise Hou Liwei would have been too ashamed to lift his head. The key point is that the two are not in the same physical category.

"You, you bastard, put me down!" Hou Liwei finally caught his breath and shouted angrily.

"I'll let things slide today, but this isn't over. I'll save this for later and deal with you when I have time. Don't think that just because your dad's the bureau chief you won't dare mess with you. I will!" Xing Baohua said, then let go of Hou Liwei, who nearly fell over.

He stood up straight, pointed at Xing Baohua with his finger, and said angrily, "You just wait."

"Fine, I'll wait. What can you do to me?" Xing Baohua said, taking two steps forward.

Hou Liwei thought Xing Baohua was going to bully him again, so he quickly turned around and ran away.

Xing Baohua left the factory and arrived at the store in just a few steps.

Seeing Xu Shuai and Liu Quan hanging up colorful lights outside, I asked, "Where did you get them?"

“My uncle came by once, looked around and said it would be quieter in front of our door, so he asked me to go to the warehouse and get some colored lights to hang up,” Liu Quan replied.

"Your uncle, Director Liu, is so thoughtful!" After exclaiming, he said to Xu Shuai, "Light the stove in a bit, and they can start grilling when they get off work."

The way barbecue is done in China is a little different from that abroad, and the way it's eaten also differs somewhat. But essentially, they're both barbecue.

We put in some cumin powder and chili powder here, but they only put in some pepper and salt.

George and his friends were overjoyed to see the smoking stove; they were finally going to have a delicious meal.

Liu Quan's tape recorder was playing Michael Jackson's songs. Their butts were swaying and twisting to the rhythm.

"Hua Zi, there's not enough meat. Are there a few too many people?" Xu Shuai said as he walked up to Xing Baohua.

Xing Baohua glanced at the crowd and saw that there were at least a dozen people, and a few pounds of meat was definitely not enough. He asked Xu Shuai, "Did you get the meat from this morning?"

"No, we've already got all the government-supplied meat, so let's get some of our own too..."

"It's alright, just put it on, the factory will reimburse you," Xing Baohua said to Xu Shuai.

"That's fine then." Xu Shuai nodded and quickly ran off to prepare the meat.

George, who was already drinking his beer, walked into the store and casually looked around. When he saw the sound system, he couldn't help but say, "Beautiful, really beautiful."
