"You're retired now, why worry about that? Just enjoy yourself and eat well. Or, I could book you and Mom a plane ticket to an overseas destination and see what developed countries are like!"
Father Xing waved his hand and said, "Let me finish."
"Please speak," Xing Baohua said, pouring the old man a glass of wine.
"Old Kong from the factory's logistics department chatted with me this afternoon, saying that the factory is going to come up with some policies soon."
"Did you run into him, or did he come to see you alone?" Xing Baohua asked curiously.
If you bump into them on the street, you can chat for a bit and just casually pass on the news.
But if you specifically go to a retired old man's house to chat about factory matters, it's a different story.

"I guess Old Kong means that you, as the factory director of such a large enterprise, and I'm already retired early, do you really need a place to live? You should be more proactive and take the lead in cooperating with the factory's policies," Xing's father said, taking a sip of his drink.
