Xing Baohua tested the woman's drinking capacity; she could indeed drink a lot.
The last time, I was drinking with a woman, and she had a high alcohol tolerance. We got so drunk that we were practically brothers, hugging each other's necks.
This time was no different; I drank so much I was completely out of my mind.
They were still hugging each other around the neck, but they weren't acting like brothers anymore, and the intimacy wasn't the same as last time.
Xing Baohua woke up with a terrible headache the next day. Her only memory was that she hadn't properly sobered up the red wine, and it was even mixed with baijiu (Chinese liquor). Just thinking about it makes you realize how strong the aftereffects were.
As for what happened after that, I really can't remember.
He lay quietly in bed for a while before staggering to the bathroom. He didn't have much of an appetite, so he asked someone to cook him some porridge.
After getting dressed and arriving at the restaurant, I asked the guards around me what happened last night. They confirmed that I had indeed blacked out from drinking.
The guard told him that the two men were drunk and clung to each other, impossible to separate. One was grabbing his belt, while he was grabbing the other's collar.
There was no way to carry them back together. We were originally planning to just throw them on the bed and be done with it, but the lady vomited as soon as she got upstairs.
He vomited violently, and the housekeeper had to clean him up. He's still unconscious in the guest room.
Xing Baohua thought to herself, "Thank goodness I didn't throw them all on the bed, otherwise it would have been so embarrassing when I woke up in the morning!"
"Once she wakes up, just arrange a car to take her away," Xing Baohua instructed, before going to his small office after finishing his porridge.
There are still a few important things to do today.
Judging by the timeline, Huang Xingyao should be able to get some information from the private investigator he hired.
When I arrived at the studio, I saw everyone busy at work, but I didn't ask what they were busy with.
After greeting everyone, Xing Baohua sat down, turned on her computer, and first checked her email.
No emails have come in, which means the survey results haven't been released yet.
Turning to the programmer from my hometown, I asked, "How's the hard drive recovery going?"
"It could take a dozen hours at the fastest, or I don't know how long it could take at the slowest. Because the cached junk has been cleared, recovery is quite troublesome," the programmer said.
"Okay, take your time," Xing Baohua nodded in response.
Around noon, Xing Baohua received a call from Huang Xingyao. The news wasn't good; the private investigator he had sent had gone missing.
"How did you find the private investigator?" Xing Baohua asked.
"It was Mr. Zhao who helped me contact them during the last hacker investigation. The phone number I used was anonymous," Huang Xingyao said.
"Did you make the contact in the office or somewhere else?" Xing Baohua asked again.
"The office!"
“Have your deputy take over your work, and you’ll take three months of paid leave to return to Hong Kong,” Xing Baohua said directly.
"Ah! Boss, it's not that serious, is it?" Huang Xingyao asked in surprise.
"Yes, but it's best to be careful. I'll have Yu Shenghai send you a notice requesting you to return to headquarters for a performance review, and also give you a reason to enroll in a business administration course. Take a three-month leave and see how things go. Arrange your work as soon as possible and come back soon," Xing Baohua said cautiously.
After listening, Huang Xingyao finally said: Okay.
Immediately afterwards, Xing Baohua arranged for Yu Shenghai to send a letter to Huang Xingyao.
Xing Baohua knew better than anyone whether the phone was safe or not. Besides, what was the NSA doing? They never stopped wiretapping suspected individuals.
They've set up hard drives on several floors of their headquarters building. It makes them seem wealthy and powerful, and they're not afraid to spend money.
Xing Baohua knows how to use radius positioning to find people, but does that mean everyone else does too? Don't underestimate its lower accuracy; once you've narrowed it down to a certain area, the rest is just guessing directions and searching.
The disappearance of the private investigator also gave Xing Baohua a signal: that Florida was a heavily guarded place and not some private organization or company.
It might actually be an NSA agency.
Faced with such a behemoth, while others would rather run away than risk it, Xing Baohua actually had the urge to invade.
Since it's an NSA branch, it might have internal connections.
If we had gone back and investigated them all, found the internal line, connected to the small server we brought with us, and downloaded something...
Isn't this idea crazy?
It's really crazy. One wrong move and you're doomed, with no chance of recovery.
We'll consider this later.
What private investigators can't do, we can hand over to our defense personnel. I need to tell Geng Xin about this and ask her to report it when she has the chance.
Xing Baohua only cared about the surrounding environment and the security measures inside. He didn't care about anything else; if he had the chance to make a move, he really wanted to go there.
Forget about who stole the food delivery company's data; just pin it on the NSA.
This grudge must be settled.
The NSA's internal network must connect several important departments, such as the US Department of Defense, the FBI, and the CIA.
How big of a hard drive do I need to download all that stuff?
It's not as simple as just plugging in and downloading; downloads take time, and the amount of documents each department has accumulated over the years can't be measured in gigabytes (GB) or terabytes (TB). And this is just text with a few images; if it includes video, the storage capacity would be even greater.
Even using IBM's hard drive enclosures would require several truckloads to transport.
Another method is to implant data packet interception software into the internal server and steal files bit by bit.
This process is very time-consuming. It's also prone to failure; if the other party regularly updates patches or removes firewalls from their database, this system could become useless.
There's no good solution for now, so let's not rush into retaliation; we need to plan this carefully.
Let's figure out the security situation over there first. How can we get inside if we don't even understand the outer shell?
Geng Xin accepted Xing Baohua's task, took the address Xing Baohua gave her, and went to report to her superiors first. Whether or not they would help was another matter.
