"The more math experts, the better; the more computer programming experts, the better," Xing Baohua said, then looked at Xu Si.
"That's all, nothing else? Could you also notify the national authorities?"
"Do you need to tell me that?!" Xu Si stood up after finishing writing and, as he was about to leave, said to Xing Baohua, "You wait for me here, don't go anywhere else."
After saying that, he hurriedly opened the door and left.
Xing Baohua took out his phone to call Su Ya, but then thought that he didn't know when he would finish today, so he decided to ask her after he was done.
While waiting for Xu Si, several of his colleagues came to visit, but when they saw that Xing Baohua was a stranger, they exchanged a few polite words and left.
About forty minutes later, Xu Si returned and said to Xing Baohua, "The government will send someone to pick you up in a while. Where did you put your luggage? Take it with you."
As he spoke, he raised his hand to check the time and added, "You, you, I'm now your follower, coordinating everyone's affairs for you?"
“I’m under the Ministry of Electronics Industry, and you’re my direct superior. Who else should I turn to if not you? Besides, I’m not a big shot, just a commoner. What’s wrong with serving me? You’re a bit too rigid in your thinking, comrade.” Xing Baohua said jokingly, pointing at Xu Si with his finger.
"Alright, stop joking around. I need to send someone home to help me pack my luggage."
"No, why are you helping me pack my luggage?"
"Stop talking nonsense, quickly notify your people to pack their things and stand by." After saying that, Xu Si walked to the phone and started making a call.
Xing Baohua had no choice but to inform everyone to prepare to move to another location.
The person who came to pick up Xing Baohua was a middle-aged man. He looked very serious, but he only smiled when he saw Xing Baohua.
To be honest, it would have been better not to laugh.
"Hello, Comrade Xing, you can just call me Lao Li. I can't say my position right now, we can talk later. I've been ordered to pick you and your comrades up and take you to a safe place."
Since the other party was not comfortable talking about it, Xing Baohua did not ask.
But the car I was in was very nice; although it was a Hongqi and the same model, any other car would avoid it.
Xing Baohua's Hongqi was just for show.
"Our bureau chief said you're used to riding in nice cars, and since we don't have any good cars to offer, we borrowed the minister's car from him. You'll have to make do for a few days," said Old Li, who was sitting in the back seat with Xing Baohua, with a smile.
"No way! I'm not worthy of this! Don't delay the big leader's business!" Xing Baohua said in surprise.
"Just for the fact that you wiped out the Japanese and Americans' stronghold, it was worth it. I admire you from the bottom of my heart!"
“I’m still far from being skilled enough. Compared to these warriors who are fighting valiantly, I’m nothing! Well, it’s a real pity about the two guards who retired from Nan Yue. I don’t know if they will have any further honors after their retirement,” Xing Baohua asked.
"As long as you are a Chinese citizen, whether you are currently serving in the military, retired, or an ordinary citizen, as long as you have brought glory to the country, the country will never forget you or bury your name. The organization will make arrangements, so don't worry."
The convoy first met up with Xing Baohua's people, and then with the people who were picking up Xu Si, and that's how they left the capital city.
Heading north, when Xing Baohua saw the mountains, he felt that they were almost at the Great Wall.
Following the mountain road, we arrived at a large compound and saw that there were quite a few sentries on duty, indicating that the security force had been significantly strengthened.
The trainees were separated into different groups for security. Equipment was also helped with unloading.
The trainees followed Xing Baohua to a four-story building, but instead of going upstairs, they took the elevator down to the basement.
No one explained where this place was.
Old Li said to Xing Baohua and the others, "You will be spending the next period of time here. Although the conditions are a bit tough, we can guarantee your quality of life. Just tell us what you want to eat, and we'll get you all the delicacies."
Xing Baohua waved his hand and said, "Can I make a phone call? I'll call the rice branch in Shoudang. I need a dozen or so computers and have them delivered."
"Comrade Xing, you don't need to spend any money. Our department will provide them. Just tell me how many you need, and I'll have someone bring them over."
"Alright! Two units each, seven of them plus me, that's sixteen units."
Then, Xing Baohua asked Geng Xin to find a location to connect the small server.
While they were busy working on this, Xing Baohua and Xu Si were negotiating the arrival of experts. They had experts, but they couldn't be recruited casually; there needed to be a timeframe and a buffer period.
In about twenty minutes, several men brought over the computer. Xing Baohua's face darkened when he saw the brand.
Then Xing Baohua asked Old Li to notify the Shoud Rice Direct Store to send over the latest computer.
"Comrade Xing, aren't these all computers? Can't they be used?"
"It works, it works, but I feel it's not as good as what I produce, both in terms of quality and performance." Xing Baohua said, and then offered no further explanation.
Xu Si told Xing Baohua that the experts he needed would take three days to assemble here, and many of them had jobs in other places.
As for the supercomputer that Xing Baohua wanted, there is one here underground, and we even invite Xing Baohua to visit it.
This is the first time Xing Baohua has ever seen a computer of national treasure quality in his two lifetimes.
It takes half an hour to take just one look. Changing clothes, changing shoes. And you have to wear a fake static electricity device.
The air conditioning, cooling, and ventilation systems are all comprehensively designed, and the database is enormous. This thing can perform a hundred million calculations per second. If we hadn't been tricked by the Japanese, our speed might have been significantly higher.
Although this thing shares the same theoretical basis as the computers developed by Xing Baohua, its performance and function are quite different.
If the software you run on this thing isn't as fast as a regular computer, then its processing speed is still slower.
