Captain Han's men just watched helplessly as Hou Qian was led into the car.
It was both unexpected and not unexpected.
Surprisingly, their method of making contact was quite crude.
But an accident still happened; perhaps it was a coincidence, or perhaps...
The car that abducted Hou Qian had been running for a short time when it was hit and overturned by a sedan at an intersection.
Things happened so fast, we don't even know who ran the red light first.
Just then, with a loud bang, a car was hit and sent flying, even rolling several times on the ground.
The front of the car that crashed was severely damaged, with the hood lifted off the ground. The driver was an overweight man who, after getting out of the car, would hold his forehead in his hands or point at the overturned vehicle.
He would occasionally mutter "shit" and "damn it."
The two people responsible for following the lookout quickly got into the car.
Drive your car to the overturned vehicle to prepare to rescue the people; this is the best time to do so.
If the door won't open, kick the car window.
They kicked open one of the car windows, and one of them crouched down to pull the person inside out.
Suddenly there was a muffled sound, followed by another, then two or three.
The man who crouched down to pull the person away suddenly felt a sharp pain in his shoulder blade, and blood instantly stained the white shirt under his suit.
Before the second muffled thud, he quickly rolled over and rolled towards the car. At the same time, he warned his companion, "Watch out!"
His companion glanced at his wounded comrade, pulled an M1911 from his back waistband, and, seeing the dark-skinned Black man, fired without hesitation. Unfortunately, his gun wasn't fitted with a silencer.
Several gunshots rang out, causing screams, panic, and panic as people in the vicinity, including those who wanted to come to the rescue, fled and sought cover.
Even the perpetrator was so frightened that he lay on the ground and slowly moved back towards the car.
Those inside the overturned vehicle fired from the inside out, while those outside the vehicle fired cautiously or waited for an opportunity to fire, fearing they might injure the bound individuals.
After a standoff lasting several minutes, with both sides exchanging magazines several times, there was still no progress. When they heard the siren, the sentry sighed, helped his injured colleague into the car, and quickly left.
This accident in Vancouver made the newspapers and television.
The photo of Hou Qian being carried onto the ambulance on a stretcher was on the front page. As for the content, it only talked about the street gunfight and some eyewitness accounts.
The J side has not released details of what happened; we await the investigation results.
Those waiting in Seattle were also drawn to the news from the city next door while watching TV in their rooms.
Especially the scene where Hou Qian is carried onto the ambulance, along with the introduction of the gunfight, shows that the people here are Xing Baohua's men, and they don't hesitate to speak without caring whether Xing Baohua is asleep or not.
Yes, I was sleeping. It was past 3 a.m. What else could I be doing if I wasn't sleeping?
The phone rang, and Xing Baohua suppressed his anger. He knew that anyone who called him at this hour was usually calling about something important.
Sure enough, after hearing that Hou Qian had been attacked, Xing Baohua was told to come to his senses and immediately ordered them to return to Sun Chenzhou's side to protect his safety.
After finishing the call, Xing Baohua quickly called Captain Han, guessing that he probably had detailed intelligence.
Captain Han answered the phone, and he sounded quite energetic.
What happened during Hou Qian's attack?
Captain Han answered decisively: I don't know!
"You don't know?"
"We're not gods, how would we know so much? Besides, one of my men got injured just as we got close," Captain Han said.
"How is Hou Qian doing?" Xing Baohua asked.
"After the car accident, because she wasn't wearing a seatbelt, her head hit the roof of the car when it rolled over, resulting in a slight concussion, but otherwise, she's not seriously injured. Um, you'll need to have someone from your company hire a lawyer for her later," Captain Han said to Xing Baohua after a moment's thought.
"She hasn't broken the law, why does she need a lawyer?" Xing Baohua asked doubtfully.
"We need to contact her and ask about the situation. What if she's been framed and can't come back anytime soon?" After saying this, Captain Han then explained to Xing Baohua:
“I’m worried that the assembly line behind her might deliberately keep her there for a while. After all, she’s your employee, so you should create some positive rescue efforts. Maybe even get the local media to report on the rice’s stance. Let’s see how things go before making a decision.”
Xing Baohua understood what Captain Han meant. If it was his organization that wanted to deal with Hou Qian, perhaps the forces behind her could help her.
But it might not be other forces; perhaps it's the organization behind her? Nobody knows why she would resort to this tactic.
So it remains a mystery for now.
Neither of them mentioned MD during this conversation, so on the surface, Hou Qian was working for this organization.
Actually, after Xing Baohua reached an agreement with MD, Hou Qian was essentially a discarded pawn. They certainly wouldn't care, which is why Captain Han had Xing Baohua find a lawyer to test the waters.
Xing Baohua has basically not established any presence in Canada. All operations are handled by the branch offices in the US.
But the two countries are essentially the same as one family.
Xing Baohua made another international call late at night, asking the Hainadamei branch to bring a lawyer over.
By the time I finished all that, it was already dawn.
Xing Baohua wasn't sleepy either, and was about to have someone bring him some breakfast when his phone rang again. Sun Chenzhou had received news that he was going to Vancouver.
What can we do but try to catch up?
However, his men couldn't get through, so he had to ask Captain Han's men to follow, prioritizing the safety of the other party.
Xing Baohua arrived at the company yawning. There weren't many cars in the car. Around eight o'clock, he started calling the Hong Kong security company and asked them to send someone with a Canadian visa to protect the two people.
Then Xie Yingying was asked to send them Hou Qian and Sun Chenzhou's information.
