The last photo looks like an enlarged version of a passport photo, and it's somewhat similar to the photo inside the car.
"Doesn't it look familiar?" Captain Han asked.
Hou Qian nodded and said, "He said he's the head of some CIA district, and I'm under his jurisdiction now."
"Which department did you belong to before?" Captain Han narrowed his eyes slightly, staring into the other person's eyes like nails.
Xing Baohua noticed that Hou Qian had made some progress, and her legs, which were together, trembled slightly.
Feeling sorry for you, they comforted you, saying, "Don't be nervous, we're all on the same side. Speak your mind boldly, and we'll help you as much as we can."
"Hmm." Hou Qian nodded softly in response. She continued, "I didn't know which department I belonged to at first. I just received a few hundred yuan in salary each month, and I had to undergo some training when necessary. That was it. Until I returned to China and was used by the MD."
After she said that, Captain Han understood that the other party was letting the sheep roam freely. They would bring them over when needed.
"Did Bright give you any tasks?" Captain Han asked, mentioning his supervisor's name.
Hou Qian's eyes widened slightly. It seemed that the country's intelligence network was also very large, even knowing the name of the supervisor.
What if the other person is using a fake name?
"He said they had information about what kind of communication the government was going to establish, and they were trying to find a way to get the rice bid."
After saying this, Xing Baohua and Captain Han exchanged a glance. Xing Baohua was extremely shocked; wasn't this part of their planned fishing trip?
wrong!
The enemy only knew that there was such a plan, but did not know that Xing Baohua had already won the bid for rice.
The CIA has a pretty good idea! If the government wins bids and projects, then the engineers and technicians hidden within the government can obtain a lot of technical information, or leave behind some kind of virus for the CIA to monitor at any time.
"Any other requirements besides this one?" Captain Han asked again.
"No, and also taught me some communication techniques." After saying that, Hou Qian explained what she had taught me, such as Morse code and radio jamming to receive intelligence.
Captain Han turned to Xing Baohua and said, "Get her a radio."
Xing Baohua looked at Captain Han, pointed at himself, and said, "How come I'm the one buying it, and you're not providing it?"
"I didn't tell you to buy it. Don't you own a tape recorder factory? Just give her one and that'll be fine."
"That's a tape recorder, not a radio. They're two different things."
"No radio function?"
"Take it," Xing Baohua said through gritted teeth.
"That's settled then, give it to her." Captain Han said casually.
Xing Baohua took out a few bills from his pocket, only about thirty yuan, nothing large. He took out his phone, dialed a number, and said, "Go buy two radios, big or small, it doesn't matter."
"Aren't you producing them? Why are you buying more?" Captain Han asked, puzzled.
"The rice tape recorder we produce only has one model with a radio function; the ultra-thin one is called a cassette player. There's also a cheaper one that's thicker, but its manufacturing process is different from traditional radios."
"What's the difference? You can't just pull out the antenna and tune the station to receive channels."
"The internal structure is different; the traditional one uses an electromagnetic rod and coil. Mine uses a high-frequency analog electronic chip output to save space."
"As long as the frequency band is the same, it won't prevent her from receiving the signal," Captain Han said, shrugging his shoulders.
"The interference frequency is different, so it can't produce a hissing sound."
"Okay, you're the expert, I'll listen to you. It's not good for her to come here and take two radios home!"
"Damn it, why didn't you say so earlier?" Xing Baohua said, standing up and walking out the door. He wasn't going to get involved in this mess anymore.
For the rest of the time, Captain Han didn't know what he talked about with Hou Qian. About forty minutes later, Hou Qian came out of Xing Baohua's office.
After a while, Captain Han also came out. After coming out, he called Xing Baohua and told him that he had left first.
After leaving Xiao Bomei's office and returning to her own, Xing Baohua immediately called Captain Han: "You just left like that?"
"Why stay if you're not leaving?"
"Hey, you didn't even tell me about the communications engineering? I'm going on a business trip right now and won't be back for several months."
"I'm here to catch spies, not run an engineering firm. I'm just passing on a message for you. There are some things you need to do at the ministry level! You need to fight for them! If you get projects too easily, how can you put on a show for outsiders?"
Xing Baohua: "..."
After mentally cursing the other person several times, just as he was about to hang up, Captain Han said, "After things are settled in Shanghai, let's play 'D Run Run,' set up a show and a trap. I'm waiting for your cigarette."
"..."
Three days later, after arranging some work, Xing Baohua took several people with him to Shanghai.
He needs to arrive in Shanghai two days in advance to make some preparations.
Xing Baohua's villa in Shanghai is still under renovation, and he is temporarily staying at a designated hotel.
This guy arrived in the morning, and Jin Xin and the China Merchants Group team arrived in the afternoon.
The main person in charge of the investment promotion team was a deputy director of the investment bureau named Chen Lanbo.
This person is probably the managing director appointed by China Merchants Group.
The major Chinese shareholders have mostly come to the Shanghai Stock Exchange and even had dinner together that evening. Despite the large number of foreign investors, their shareholdings are small. If China Merchants Group and the Shanghai Stock Exchange don't intervene, foreign capital alone could overthrow Xing Baohua's rule.
But don't forget, the Shanghai Stock Exchange accounts for the majority, gritting their teeth and following suit. However, they don't participate in management; they only step in to clean up the mess when the factory collapses.
The Shanghai Stock Exchange acts as a stabilizing force; it doesn't get involved in the operations, so you can do your thing while I just watch.
