The investigators' expressions changed drastically. They hurriedly looked around, but the surrounding area was open and they didn't see anyone surrounding them.
"Stop looking, I'm the only one here for now, just lie down on the ground." Sometime later, the villager had produced a weapon, complete with a silencer.
Just as the investigator was about to say something, the other side opened fire.
A few minutes later, four or five people came and carried away the two investigators and their equipment.
If a scout hasn't returned to base for a day, their captain knows something's wrong.
Fortunately, their phones have location tracking capabilities. They were located via the Dami satellite positioning system and even had their microphones enabled in the background, so they could hear any voices around them clearly.
Captain Han knew his men were in trouble, and he had the location of the problem. What was he waiting for?
That evening, in conjunction with local authorities, more than twenty vehicles and over a hundred people went to the designated location.
There were seven Dongfeng trucks alone, and the people in the truck beds were fully armed with live ammunition.
While they wouldn't say they're armed to the teeth, they could easily take on a dozen or so people.
Upon arrival at the location provided, they found themselves in what appeared to be a research institute. Captain Han immediately gave orders to first surround the area, then launch a surprise attack from the main entrance.
When the convoy arrived, the checkpoint discovered that they had already reacted and that their limited strength was no match for it.
According to the original plan, the only way to evacuate was through the tunnels.
As for the equipment, they set it on fire as well.
When the assault team rushed in, the fire was already raging.
They were all veteran scouts; they knew exactly what was going on and used fire to stop their pursuit.
Captain Han said, "Activate the drones and conduct reconnaissance in all four directions."
In addition to civilian drones, there are also drones equipped with infrared thermal imaging.
This thing is much larger than the civilian version. When the drone takes off, it illuminates seven or eight heat sources in the northwest direction.
