Anyway, I'm free today.
Since Grandpa Li looks down on people, then I'll show you a thing or two and teach you a lesson.
Of course, this name can't be used here. As for what name to use, Xing Baohua hasn't decided yet.
"Waaaaah..."
The opening is like a low horn, gradually increasing in pitch, and then returning to its starting point.
Of course, this is a piece of music with a grand and majestic feel that can only be expressed in a choral symphony. Xing Baohua's own singing sounds a bit thin.
But its essence is internal; those who know it will understand immediately. Didn't you see Grandpa Li sketching with a pen?
"Alright, stop howling. It's like the howling of wolves in the Northwest. I don't understand English. Try translating it into Chinese." Grandpa Li quickly told Xing Baohua to stop howling, in case it really attracted the mother wolf.
Xing Baohua awkwardly touched his nose again.
Ideals make us strong.
Break through the barrier of darkness.
Ideals make us strong.
Never give up hope.
………………
Xing Baohua hummed the Chinese lyrics softly. Images from previous videos flashed through her mind, multiple versions of them playing out one by one.
Accompanied by a majestic, expansive, and grand musical style, the deep drumbeats, the melodious violin, and the deep bass cello resonate deeply in the heart.
The addition of deep male harmonies further ignites passion and inspires, filling the listener with an epic grandeur and brilliance that inspires unwavering determination.
Not only was Xing Baohua immersed in the usual music, but even Grandpa Li hummed along, though his brows were furrowed.
Meanwhile, Director Wang, standing to the side, grinned and muttered to himself, "Is it really necessary? Is it really necessary? You're just selling stereos, why make such a big production out of it?"
On the other side, Lin Daorong's mouth was agape, and a million curses were raging through his mind.
He overheard Director Wang muttering to himself and thought Xing Baohua was going to release an original song to sell on cassette tapes. Who knew he'd actually sell stereo equipment? What the hell was he thinking!
However, this piece is indeed grand and magnificent, exciting to listen to, and it strikes right at the depths of the soul.
Those present were all knowledgeable and could hear the profound meaning conveyed in the piece.
Imagine performing it with a symphony orchestra – it would be breathtaking and exhilarating.
Now Xing Baohua was out of the picture; Grandpa Li was furiously wielding his brush, his eyebrows almost knitting together.
Director Wang, looking up at the sky at a 45-degree angle, seemed to be lost in thought, perhaps pondering something.
Lin Daorong pulled out a cigarette from somewhere, lit it, and shook his head while humming softly in a nasal tone.
Xing Baohua was also thinking about what to name this piece of music.
The name has already been taken to its absolute limit; is there anything more impressive than this?
This gave Xing Baohua a real headache.
"Kid, give me ten days, and I'll give you the complete score." Grandpa Li said to Xing Baohua as he closed his notebook after making revisions.
"Okay, you help me come up with a name for him."
"You didn't name it? It's original?" Grandpa Li asked in shock.
Seeing Xing Baohua nod, Grandpa Li said, "I thought you heard this from somewhere? This name is hard to come up with, and I don't dare to choose one either. You can think about it slowly."
Well, Xing Baohua, who already had a hard time naming his child, tried to shift the blame to Grandpa Li, but the cunning old man cleverly returned the blame to him.
Xing Baohua was so angry that her gums were itchy.
"Director Wang, you heard the music just now, so, do you have any scenes in your head that can be paired with this piece?" Xing Baohua shifted the focus and asked the absent-minded Director Wang.
"If you have money, give me 300,000, and I can give you a movie worthy of this piece of music?" Director Wang said slowly.
Xing Baohua really wanted to spit in the old man's face. If he had 300,000 yuan, the return on investment for developing the factory would be even more astonishing.
If you can't come up with 30,000, 3,000 is something I might consider. Besides, investing in movies these days? Haha, it's like throwing good money after bad! You'd be lucky to break even.
"Director Wang, don't even think about this kind of thing in the future. It's just a 4 or 5-minute film, but you want to make it 120 minutes long. Is it really necessary?"
As soon as Xing Baohua finished speaking, Grandpa Li asked, "You need to find a symphony orchestra! You need to book it in advance, and it takes time to get everyone in sync."
"Okay," Xing Baohua nodded in agreement.
He then turned to Director Wang and said, "Director Wang, how about pairing this piece with a naval battle film?"
"Naval battle?" Director Wang was taken aback by the question. He stroked his chin as if considering a suitable film.
He had watched over a hundred films, and could only think of five or six that were suitable. Excluding the two that were related to naval battles, there were only three that were appropriate.
If we include "The Sino-Japanese War at Sea 1894", "Sea Eagle", "Sea Storm", and "The Crossing of the Yangtze River", then there are four films from which excerpts can be extracted.
Director Wang thought for a moment, then felt it wasn't quite right. Such grand music needed to be paired with the image of a massive army charging forward. "A million soldiers crossing a great river" would be more fitting. Although most of the ships were fishing boats and sampans, their sheer number created a magnificent atmosphere, and combined with the charge amidst gunfire, it would be truly awe-inspiring.
Unfortunately, the shot was too short and didn't last until the music ended.
As for "The Sino-Japanese War at Sea 1894," it's too tragic. The war scenes are acceptable, but without an ending or anything, it just feels out of place.
In fact, Director Wang misunderstood Xing Baohua's meaning. The two had slightly different ideas. Xing Baohua was thinking of connecting clips from various movies to create a montage.
Director Wang's intention was to use clips from the entire film to complement the music.
Xing Baohua thought Director Wang wouldn't have thought of that? He just told a rough outline based on the original film.
