Chapter 15 Something Added to the Porridge

The aroma of the meat buns and the fresh fragrance of the milk tea soon made Li Jinfeng's mouth water.

She wolfed down the meat bun, drank the milk tea in one gulp, and threw the milk tea box into the space.

Li Jinfeng let out a long breath.

Li Jinfeng never thought that one day, when she ate a meal, she would have to be on guard against everyone like a thief.

But there was nothing that could be done about it. In that era, supplies were scarce and meat buns were a rarity. Most people could hardly eat them once a year.

Milk tea is something that is beyond its time. Not to mention in this small village, you might not even find it in the county town.

If she wasn't careful, she would end up in a terrible situation.

I looked around but still didn't see anyone.

Li Jinfeng took a mirror and disinfectant from the space, cleaned the scar on her forehead, and took a few anti-inflammatory pills.

When cleaning the scar, Li Jinfeng saw that the wound on her forehead was extremely ugly and uneven, and she didn't know whether it would leave a scar.

When Li Jinfeng saw the wound, she thought of the two culprits, Li Aiju and Li Ailan, and she would not let them go!

After coming out of the cornfield, Li Jinfeng pretended nothing had happened and returned to the warehouse.

When she left, the porridge on the table was gone, and even the bowl had been licked clean.

Li Jinfeng looked around. Apart from a few people lying under a large locust tree four or five meters away from the warehouse, there was no one else in the warehouse.

Li Jinfeng glanced at those people and saw that one of them was none other than Li Ailan, the cowherd.

Li Jinfeng knew without a second thought that this matter was related to Li Ailan.

Fortunately, she had just eaten a meat bun and milk tea, otherwise she would have starved to death.

Li Jinfeng put the bowl away and placed it aside, with no intention of causing trouble for Li Ailan.

Li Ailan lay under the big locust tree and waited for a long time, but Li Jinfeng didn't bother her. Finally, she couldn't hold back any longer.

Li Ailan climbed up from under the big locust tree and walked up to Li Jinfeng.

She turned to Li Jinfeng and said, "Li Jinfeng, I heard that you bullied my sixth sister when we were distributing farm tools this morning?"

"Really? How come I don't know?" Li Jinfeng smiled coldly.

"Li Jinfeng, stop pretending to be a coward. Do you know who drank your porridge?" Li Ailan asked.

She did it on purpose, deliberately trying to make Li Jinfeng angry and then attack her.

Li Jinfeng was thinner than her and was injured, so she could teach her a lesson however she wanted.

By then, I wouldn’t be afraid even if I was seen by people from the production team.

Because it wasn't Li Ailan who took action first.

If it was the Li Jinfeng of the past, she might have been fooled, but Li Jinfeng is no longer the same person she used to be.

She didn't take Li Ailan's provocation seriously at all, and even said with a nonchalant expression: "I don't care who drinks the porridge. Anyway, I didn't intend to drink that porridge in the first place!"

"What do you mean?" Li Ailan felt something was wrong.

"It's nothing special, just spit in it and add some other stuff!"

"Li Jinfeng, you dare..." Li Ailan raised her voice and shouted.

At this moment, she was really sick.

Stealing Li Jinfeng's porridge was one thing, but if she spit in it...

"Ugh..." Li Ailan dry-heaved a few times.

"No, it's just a little saliva and urine, why are you so nervous?" Li Jinfeng shouted exaggeratedly.
