Li Jinfeng stared at the whole set of big dragon stamps in front of her like a fool who had never seen the world, and was so surprised that she couldn't speak.
In her previous life, she had a friend who collected this kind of stamps, just the big dragon series, not including the small dragon and coiled dragon series. He spent nearly three million and kept saying that he made a fortune.
Now, this whole set is in front of me, and I estimate it is worth at least tens of millions.
Ten million...
Li Jinfeng held her breath. What kind of magical collection was this?
Professor Wu, however, was still laughing and talking beside him. "How are you? You've never seen stamps like this before? They're quite pretty, aren't they? I don't have any other hobbies, I've been collecting these things since I was a child. I bought some of them from other people, some at the post office, and some were on letters sent to me by students from all over the world after they graduated. I collected them all, and now I'm giving them all to you!"
In Professor Wu’s heart, these stamps are his children.
He didn't know how long he could live, and he had no children. When he died, his collection would either be buried in the ground and turned into ashes, or be found, burned, or torn up. He didn't want to see either of those things happen.
Rather than dying with no peace of mind, it would be better to take them out and give them to Li Jinfeng. This girl seems to be someone who cherishes things, so this would be a good destination for his things.
"Uncle Wu, I can't accept it. These are your treasures and the hard work of you over the years." Li Jinfeng refused.
A gentleman does not take away what others love, although, she is not a gentleman.
But she knew that these stamps were equivalent to half of Professor Wu's life.
"My dear, I was right about you. You are not a greedy person. But if these things were in my hands, they would only end up being destroyed. Could you bear to watch the hard work of most of my life be wasted by others? My dear, I believe in you. This thing will be well protected in your hands. Take it!"
Professor Wu once again handed the parchment book to Li Jinfeng, his eyes were determined and there was no hesitation at all.
Li Jinfeng finally accepted it.
Professor Wu is right when he says that if these stamps, especially the first stamp and the Big Dragon stamp issued in the Qing Dynasty, fell into the hands of other people, they would either be damaged as feudal objects or destroyed by people who did not know their value.
Perhaps these stamps will bring trouble to Professor Wu.
This is not what Li Jinfeng wants to see!
"Professor Wu, I believe you will be fine." Li Jinfeng said.
If liver protection tablets and anti-worm medicine are taken, there shouldn't be any major problems. This is what Li Jinfeng thought in her heart, but one cannot say anything too absolutely.
"Whenever you want, then..."
"Silly girl, I've given it all to you, there's no reason for you to ask for it back. Is Uncle Wu the kind of person who doesn't keep his word?" Professor Wu disagreed with Li Jinfeng's statement.
What he gave away was no longer his and he could never get it back.
Even if he was really lucky and survived.
"Uncle Wu..."
"Okay, let's skip this! How many kilograms of grain do you have? And the eggs and medicine too. I'll calculate the money and the invoice for you." Professor Wu said to Li Jinfeng.
"No thanks." Li Jinfeng waved her hands repeatedly. "These stamps of yours are already more valuable than anything else. I can't take your money and stamps anymore!"
