Chapter 6 Talent Test 2

An Ran stared at An Yu in amazement. Shouldn't the normal reaction be to test her fighting spirit talent again and become a warrior?

An Yu smiled and touched An Ran's head: "Silly sister, if you can't become a magician, there are only two ways to go. Either be an ordinary person or become a brave warrior. But the path of a warrior is so difficult, and for a girl like Ran Ran, it is so difficult. I would rather you be an ordinary person than suffer that kind of pain. I will work hard to practice and protect you!"

An Ran felt warm at heart when she heard these words. She wondered how much her brother doted on her to say such words. An Ran fell silent with red eyes.

An Yu saw that An Ran didn't say anything and thought she was worried. He couldn't help but touch her head, sighed, and then continued to wait with An Ran.

"Liu Qiong, mental strength level zero, magic talent level zero."

"He Jun, mental strength level zero, magic talent level zero."

In the blink of an eye, they were almost at An Ran's side. An Yu carefully instructed An Ran, "Ran Ran, do you see that crystal ball? That's for testing talent. Put your hand on the little white ball, clear your mind, use your consciousness to feel the colors inside, and then lead them."

"See that crystal wand? It's for testing your mental strength. You have to manipulate the little red dot underneath and make it keep going up until it can't go any higher. Got it?"

An Ran nodded to indicate that she understood.

At this point, it's time for security testing.

"Let's try to use our mental power to move this red dot upwards." A short old man with a white beard in the testing area said to An Ran with a smile.

An Ran used her mental power to move the red dot, and it stopped at level five.

The old man with white beard looked at An Ran doubtfully. He asked An Ran, "Is this really the only place you can move to?"

An Ran was shocked, thinking that the old man had seen through her attempt to hide her abilities. She pretended to be very regretful and said, "This is as far as we can go. I wanted him to go up a little further, but this is as far as we can go." She became sadder and sadder as she spoke, and she almost started to cry.

The old man with white beard said, "Okay, let's go to the next test." Then he said loudly, "An Ran, mental strength level five."

An Ran walked to another test bench.

"Put your hand on the crystal ball." An old man in the testing area looked at An Ran and said to her.

An Ran obediently placed her hand on the crystal ball, and then sent a soul message to Xiao Ai: "Xiao Ai, it's time for you to take action. Hurry up."

Xiao Ai asked An Ran in the space: "What talent do you want? You have four talents in your body. Except for the dark element, earth element and thunder element, you have all the others."

An Ran rolled her eyes speechlessly and said, "It doesn't matter. Just pick anyone. Not too high a level. Hurry up."

Xiao Ai obediently got An Ran a level five wood talent.

The old man in the testing area glanced at An Ran and reported, "Magic talent: Wood, level five."

An Ran finally breathed a sigh of relief and walked to the testing area. Smiling, she said to An Yu who was waiting beside her, "Brother, I can become a magician too."

An Yu smiled and nodded, saying, "That's right, now we have two magicians in our family. Father and Mother will definitely be proud of us!" After that, he took An Ran's little hand and walked towards the An family's seat.

Not far behind him, the man in dark clothes frowned and said disdainfully, "I thought we'd get a genius, but she turned out to be a waste, not even as good as An Yu! How can I expect this young master to marry such a person!"

The guards beside him quickly said, "That's right, she's not that good looking, not even qualified to be a vase!"

The man nodded in agreement and said to the guard, "Take the family's visiting card to the An family tomorrow. We will visit them the day after tomorrow morning."

The guard behind him smiled and said, "Sir, this is settled. This time, the eldest daughter of the Baili family has no reason to refuse you!"

The man smiled and nodded, a hint of tenderness flashed in his eyes, and then became sharp again.
