Chapter 11 College life is a bit boring

At 2:30 in the afternoon, freshmen began to line up at the cafeteria window to pay tuition.

In 1993, universities had not yet expanded their enrollment, so the number of new students at Bashu University was not large each year, only about two thousand or so.

It looked like a huge group of about 2,000 people, but the teachers of the school's finance department were divided into several groups, and they also had the help of counselors from each class, so Yang Tianlong and his friends didn't have to wait in line for too long before paying the money.

Seeing the 900 yuan tuition fee coming out of his pocket and being handed over to the teachers, Yuan Fangguo suddenly felt a little sad. This money was his parents' hard-earned money.

After paying the tuition, the textbooks were distributed and one person was sent from each dormitory. Yuan Fangguo was not in the dormitory at the time, but continued to sell them in each dormitory.

When Yang Tengtao walked into dormitory 202, he felt a hint of hostility because he was sensitive. There were three people in the dormitory, and Yuan Fangguo was missing.

Yang Tengtao was deeply impressed by Yuan Fangguo. The reason was very simple. He felt that Yuan Fangguo was an extraordinary person and might be a strong rival of his in college.

"Why is there another person missing?" Even though he knew it, Yang Tengtao couldn't help but say it out loud.

Naturally, no one in the dormitory paid any attention to him. Sun Kejian was reading, Gao Dapeng was studying, and Yi Juntao, who looked like a ruffian, was lying lazily on the bed.

Especially Yi Juntao's ruffian look, which made him frown slightly. Yang Tengtao's eyes suddenly looked at Gao Dapeng. It's easy to pick on a weakling.

"Dapeng, come with me to get the textbooks."

Gao Dapeng nodded and followed Yang Tengtao out.

Yi Juntao snorted coldly and then turned over in bed.

Boring, so fucking boring.

Sun Kejian, on the other hand, was holding a thick book in his hand and reading it with great interest.

"Kejian, where did you rent this book?" Yi Juntao asked.

Sun Kejian glanced at Yi Juntao and said, "I brought it from home."

"Is there any more? Lend me one. It's so damn boring." Yi Juntao scratched his head and cheek, looking very painful.

There is not much entertainment in this era, and reading may be the best way for these students to relax.

"There is another one." Sun Kejian said.

"Let me borrow it and have a look."

Yi Juntao couldn't wait to stretch out his hand.

Sun Kejian handed over a copy of Dream of the Red Chamber. When Yi Juntao saw it, he was immediately disappointed. This book was not what he wanted to read at all.

But Sun Kejian had already handed the book over, so Yi Juntao had no choice but to bite the bullet and start flipping through it.

To be honest, business isn't very good today.

The main reason was that there were fewer people buying things, but Yuan Fangguo was still trying his best to promote his umbrellas while selling things, especially to those people from other provinces. After he told them about the climate in Chengdu in late September, the sales of these umbrellas became the highest.

It was not until almost time for dinner that Yuan Fangguo dragged his tired body back to the dormitory.

"How was business this afternoon? Fang Guo." When Sun Kejian saw that it was Yuan Fangguo who came in, his mood suddenly became much happier, as if he had seen a savior.

"Not very good." Yuan Fangguo smiled slightly and shook his head.

"No way." Yi Juntao was surprised. "I saw that business was pretty good the past two days. How come it suddenly stopped this afternoon?"

Yi Juntao couldn't help but look into Yuan Fangguo's bag, and saw that there was indeed a large lump in the backpack.

"The umbrellas are selling well. After dinner, I planned to buy some more umbrellas. Several friends wanted to buy some in the afternoon, but I didn't have any left." Yuan Fangguo said with a smile.

"Okay, I'll go with you after dinner and see if there are any books to rent. This boring college life is about to begin, so I have to rent some books." Yi Juntao said.

"Isn't there one in the library?" Yuan Fangguo was very puzzled.

"Hey, the library is full of literature. It's so boring to look at. But it's more enjoyable to read Jin Yong, right?" Yi Juntao said.

Yuan Fangguo nodded. He had also read Mr. Jin Yong's works when he was in high school. The writing was indeed very good and made people feel involved. The ups and downs of the protagonist also made the readers feel anxious. So everyone is different, and the works they write are indeed different.

At dinner, Yuan Fangguo deliberately punished himself for the slow business in the afternoon. He only ordered a steamed bun and a steamed bun, and the soup was free.

After wolfing down his meal, Yi Juntao saw that he was about to leave, so he quickly reminded Yuan Fangguo to go with him.

After leaving the school gate, Yuan Fangguo parted ways with Yi Juntao. He went directly to the wholesale market, while Yi Juntao wandered around to see where the book rental shop was.

There were not many goods replenished in the evening, and Yuan Fangguo pushed the cart out of the wholesale market more than ten minutes later.

This time, he even bought a few envelopes to write letters to his family and his younger brothers and sisters.

Last night, he spent more than one yuan to call his second brother Yuan Fangtai. His second brother's unit was in the suburbs of Chengdu. The two of them agreed to meet at the gate of Bashu University on Sunday.

Today is Wednesday, and there are still three days until Sunday.

Thinking that he hadn't seen his second brother for almost a year, Yuan Fangguo couldn't help but feel a little excited.

When Yuan Fangguo walked to the school gate, he still hadn't seen Yi Juntao.

The two had previously agreed that whoever finished first would wait at the school gate.

Yuan Fangguo stood quite lonely at the school gate waiting for Yi Juntao to appear, but after waiting for more than ten minutes, the guy still didn't show up.

"Where did this kid run off to?" Yuan Fangguo couldn't help but wonder in his heart. After thinking about it, he decided to leave the package of goods with the security guard.

Of course, he still gave the security guard a cigarette with a smile on his face.

Seeing that it was Hongtashan, the security guard smiled and waved his hand: "Go ahead, young man, I'll keep an eye on it for you."

After thanking the security guard, Yuan Fangguo quickly walked out of the school gate.

He remembered that when the two of them came out together before, Yi Juntao and he were going in different directions.

Yuan Fangguo couldn't help but quicken his pace and walk in the opposite direction of the wholesale market.

We did see a few bookstores along the way, but Yi Juntao was not there.

The longer Yuan Fangguo saw Yi Juntao, the more uneasy he felt.

He always felt that Yi Juntao might have gotten into trouble.

If you think in a bad direction, things will turn out to be bad.

Sure enough, one mile away from the school gate, Yi Juntao was surrounded by several guys who also looked like students.

Both sides were shouting loudly, and it looked like they were about to fight if they had a disagreement.

Seeing this, Yuan Fangguo couldn't help but rush over.

Yuan Fangguo was a tall and strong man. His sudden appearance startled the young students surrounding Yi Juntao.
