After New Year's Day, the final exams soon arrived. The liberal arts department has not had advanced mathematics courses since the sophomore year, and the focus is basically on liberal arts.
However, without advanced mathematics, English is still a huge mountain for students. In the first and second final exams of college, the failure rate of English was second only to advanced mathematics.
Gao Dapeng's English is not bad, while Yuan Fangguo's English is only average, so Yi Juntao and Sun Kejian "followed the trend" and chose to sit around Gao Dapeng.
Gao Dapeng also had a falling out with Yang Tengtao over the issue of joining the party. Although he did not dare to offend Yang Tengtao, they had a tacit understanding with each other.
This time, Yang Tengtao did not look for Gao Dapeng, but sat behind another male classmate with good grades during the exam.
After three days of exams, almost all the students breathed a sigh of relief, finally feeling liberated.
New Year's Eve is just half a month away. Gao Dapeng and Yang Xuexiu haven't been home for a year and a half. They miss home very much and had already bought their train tickets in December.
Li Chunli drove Yang Xuexiu and Gao Dapeng to the train station, and Yuan Fangguo accompanied them.
This time when they returned home for the Spring Festival, they bought some Sichuan specialties for Yang Xuexiu and Gao Dapeng respectively to take home.
Yang Xuexiu and Gao Dapeng were a little embarrassed to accept it at first, but they could not resist Yuan Fangguo and Li Chunli's insistence, so they had to accept these specialties.
The Spring Festival travel rush is the busiest time of year for transportation in China. However, compared to the traffic returning to the province, the traffic out of the province is relatively less crowded.
After watching Yang Xuexiu and Gao Dapeng walk into the busy train station, the two of them went back.
"Fang Guo, in another week, Hua Yong and I will be getting married at home. You must come." Li Chunli said.
Yuan Fangguo nodded and said with a smile: "Sister Li, don't worry, I will definitely wait until I attend your wedding before going home."
"How about we go back together?" Li Chunli giggled.
"You two are going back too?"
Li Chunli nodded. "Of course. He hasn't met my parents yet, and he said he'd go back to see them this time, and bring them to Chengdu to celebrate the New Year."
"That's no problem, let's go back together." Yuan Fangguo nodded.
Li Chunli smiled, and suddenly her expression became somewhat reluctant to leave. She sighed in the cold wind and said, "Fang Guo, after the New Year, Niuniu and I will go to Pengcheng."
"Have you found a school for Niuniu?"
"Yes, he helped to connect with the aristocratic school there."
"So you're going to be a housewife?"
"Let's go over and see. I still want to find something to do. Do you have any good resources or projects to recommend?" Li Chunli said half-jokingly and half-seriously.
"I don't really have that, but there are business opportunities everywhere in Pengcheng. Maybe you don't even have to do it yourself. Uncle Lin will arrange it for you."
"You're calling me such a mess of my generation." Li Chunli chuckled.
"Let's each take care of our own business. Wasn't it the same thing when Lin Yu and Uncle Lin came over last time? I call her dad brother, and she calls me brother, so in this generation, we should just take care of our own business."
"The same old thing, be sure to call me when you get to Pengcheng."
"When are we leaving?"
"On the fourteenth day of the first lunar month, we'll go there to celebrate the Lantern Festival."
"I'll see you off." Yuan Fangguo said with a smile.
"Yeah..." Li Chunli nodded vigorously, her eyes filled with tears, and her cooperative relationship with Yuan Fangguo was about to end.
On the way back, Li Chunli did not drive, Yuan Fangguo drove instead.
After sending her home, he did not go home with her, but drove back to Bashu University.
The exams ended this morning, and it was time for Lin Yumei and her roommates to have their winter break. The two of them had made an appointment that after seeing her roommate off this afternoon, they would go to Mount Emei for a trip.
The entire Bashu Province is extremely cold right now. The top of Mount Emei has long been covered with a thick layer of white snow. For people in the Bashu Basin who rarely see snow, the snow scene is undoubtedly very mysterious.
Yi Juntao and Sun Kejian had already packed their luggage and were waiting for him at the door. When they saw that it was Yuan Fangguo driving over, they quickly opened the car door and got in.
Both of them took the afternoon train, and after lunch, they would set off on their journey home.
After picking up his two good brothers, Yuan Fangguo drove straight to the Normal University.
It was almost twelve o'clock when Lin Yumei and Yang Yang came out.
Yang Yang sat in the back seat next to Sun Kejian, while Lin Yumei sat in the passenger seat.
At noon, they found a hot pot restaurant. Yuan Fangguo treated them and the five of them had a hot pot meal. Yuan Fangguo then drove them to the train station.
In the morning, Yang Xuexiu and Gao Dapeng left, and in the afternoon, Sun Kejian and Yi Juntao left.
The two good brothers seemed reluctant to leave Yuan Fangguo. When they walked into the station entrance, they both gave Yuan Fangguo a big hug, which made Yuan Fangguo feel a little embarrassed.
"Don't cry, you've soiled my clothes. Come back and wash them for me next semester." He even said to Yi Juntao half-jokingly and half-seriously.
"Fuck, 'pee' 'sex'..." Yi Juntao wasn't in a very good mood recently. He had broken up with his girlfriend from the Sports College and had been depressed for a long time. Now when he heard Yuan Fangguo's words, he felt that the unhappiness and pressure in his heart had disappeared completely with these words.
He couldn't help but punch Yuan Fangguo again.
After watching them walk into the train station, Lin Yumei suddenly felt a little sad.
