Chapter 57 Ticket Checking Incident

As the conductor got closer, the young man next to Lin Changchun became more nervous and his body began to tremble.

Yuan Fangguo, Lin Changchun and Li Chunli all saw it.

"You didn't buy a ticket?" Lin Changchun whispered.

The young man nodded and said, "I just bought a ticket for two stops."

"Where are you going?"

"Go to Guangzhou." said the young man.

"Tickets are being checked more strictly now. I'm afraid you'll have no choice but to buy a new ticket." Lin Changchun said seriously.

Some of the young men were almost crying with fear, "Uncle, I don't have any money at all."

"Not buying a ticket isn't an option either." Lin Changchun frowned. "There are train security guards on both sides now. No one can leave this carriage. We're just unlucky to have been drawn in this carriage."

"What should I do?" At this time, Yuan Fangguo noticed that there were several patches on the cuffs of the young man's clothes. It seemed that his family was very poor, so he had to work outside.

Yuan Fangguo looked at the conductor, who was still five or six meters away from them. He quickly said, "How about you get down there?"

The young man was not tall, only a little over 1.6 meters, and he was rather thin.

The young man was stunned, then looked around. If he didn't mind the dirt, maybe he could really crawl under it.

"Then don't tell anyone." The young man pleaded.

Yuan Fangguo, Lin Changchun and Li Chunli all nodded.

While the conductor and the police were not paying attention, the young man crawled under the seat, not daring to breathe.

Finally, the conductor and the police officer came to their location.

The conductor was stunned, "How come there are still empty seats?"

"I got off at the last station." Yuan Fangguo said nonchalantly.

"Your tickets." The conductor quickly reminded.

All three of them took out their tickets. The conductor took a quick look at them and continued walking forward.

It was not until the alarm was lifted that the young man came out from inside with a look of embarrassment.

At this time, the expression on his face was much more relaxed, and he thought there would be no problem at all in getting to Guangzhou safely.

After arriving at the next stop, the young man's seat was taken by the passenger from the next stop, a young girl.

The young man had no choice but to stand in the aisle with a sullen look on his face.

At six o'clock in the evening, the waiters started selling meals again.

Lin Changchun treated us to lunch, and Yuan Fangguo paid for the evening.

He noticed that the young man was looking at the plastic lunch box in his hand with an anxious look on his face, swallowing his saliva from time to time.

"Waiter, please give me another serving." Yuan Fangguo decisively said loudly to the waiter who was two seats away from him.

Lin Changchun and Li Chunli were also surprised, but when they saw Yuan Fangguo hand the lunch box to the young man, they understood.

The young man was stunned at first. He never expected that someone would invite him to dinner.

"this?"

"Take it. Everyone has difficulties." Yuan Fangguo said with a smile.

"Thank you..." The young man took the lunch box with gratitude and started eating it in big mouthfuls.

It seems he is really hungry.

It was another difficult night. Amid the clanging sound of the train, Yuan Fangguo slept for more than five hours that night and finally welcomed a new day.

As time passed, the train was getting closer and closer to Guangzhou. They continued chatting during the day. From state-owned enterprise reform to education, housing, and medical reform, many of the problems pointed out by Lin Changchun were almost the same as those later.

"We really need reform to change, otherwise we will only become arrogant," said Lin Changchun.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, the train was already on the edge of Yangcheng City, and the bright lights in the city could be vaguely seen.

"We're going to get off the car soon. Take your things with you. Our company's driver will come to pick me up. I have to go back to the factory tonight." Lin Changchun said with a smile.

"Okay, Uncle Lin, I hope we can meet you on the train again next time." Yuan Fangguo said with a smile.

Li Chunli also nodded. She felt that she had gained a lot from chatting with two knowledgeable people, Yuan Fangguo and Lin Changchun. Many things could be used, such as housing.

Deep down, she was still looking forward to having a house of her own in Chengdu, at least so that she wouldn't have to sleep in a storefront. However, the newly built houses in Chengdu were not cheap at the moment, so she could only buy second-hand houses from units. If they were not in urgent need of being sold, she would need at least 70,000 or 80,000 yuan for one house.

If she had a house of her own, she could bring her children to Chengdu.

After a long journey of more than forty hours, the train finally stopped slowly at Guangzhou Railway Station.

The passengers in the carriage rushed out all at once like a floodgate releasing water. The young man also got off the train because he was worried that there would be few people checking tickets when he left the station.

Yuan Fangguo and the other three were not in a hurry. After all, this was the terminal station, and if they got off later, at least they wouldn't have to squeeze.

Before getting off the bus, he carefully checked his things. During the past forty hours, he had been holding his things in his arms most of the time, so all his things were there.

"It seems to be a bit hot outside." Looking at the staff on the platform, Lin Changchun specifically reminded them.

"Really?" Li Chunli also quickly looked out, and sure enough, those people were still wearing short sleeves. After seeing this, she secretly felt lucky that she brought a skirt.

After most of the people inside had left, the three of them picked up their luggage and walked out of the train station.
