Ye Qian remembered that the last time she cooked lunch was during the Chinese New Year. The children were all very happy eating. She took her shopping basket and went to the vegetable market, bought some tofu, chicken wings, chicken legs, fresh beef, and pork belly, and went home.
When she returned home, Auntie Lan had already picked up the children. The three children were sitting at the table in the living room doing their homework. Seeing her come back with a shopping basket, they all asked, "Mom, will you cook for us tonight?"
