Report
Editor's note: It will be available next Wednesday.
To avoid affecting the reading experience, I will not be issuing separate chapters with author testimonials.
Then, I would like to bow in gratitude: Thank you all for your tremendous support since the book's inception, and thank you for your generous donations, monthly tickets, recommendations, and comments.
Secondly, I would like to report to our readers.
First, let's talk about updates: This is how I make a living and support my family. Actually, I want to update more than anyone else, really.
Therefore, after the book is published, I will try my best to update more frequently and regularly, while ensuring quality and pacing.
Secondly, let's talk about the plot: As mentioned several times in the book, the initial focus is mainly on identification, restoration, and scientific research. As the plot unfolds, elements of archaeology, exploration, and local customs will be gradually added, while the story progresses in a spiral fashion.
To put it simply: the plot has multiple developments, rather than just a simple treasure appraisal, so there's a lot to write about, and the quality is definitely guaranteed.
Then there's the pacing: one thing leads to another, one event follows another—it certainly won't be slow. My concern, however, is that the pace might be too fast. Too much tension could raise everyone's threshold for enjoyment too quickly.
But with gains come sacrifices. At least you can rest assured, sirs, I definitely won't dabble in anything haphazardly or cause any trouble. I guarantee that from the very beginning to the end, the book will stay true to the theme.
Therefore, regardless of how many side quests are added, they will inevitably revolve around the elements of "antiques and cultural relics," developing steadily. If you feel there are flaws in the plot, or that the pacing is too slow, too drawn out, or that the character development is problematic, or any other issues, please feel free to point them out in the comments section.
Readers who have read my older books know that no author values reader feedback more than I do, truly.
Finally, I'd like to bow to you all again: please support me when the book is released, thank you!
