This left Wang Hu completely bewildered. He stared blankly at Lin Xiaoxuan, his eyes filled with confusion. And Lin Xiaoxuan? Her cheeks were flushed, like ripe apples, making her look exceptionally shy and adorable.
Faced with Wang Hu's puzzled gaze, Lin Xiaoxuan bit her lip and, slightly flustered, made an excuse, saying, "Oh dear, just now... I don't know what I was thinking, I just kissed you without thinking, please don't take it to heart!"
After hearing this, Wang Hu seemed to ponder. He wondered to himself, could it be because of that peculiar scent on him again? It seemed his control over that scent was far from sufficient; he needed to work even harder to cultivate it. With that thought, Wang Hu stopped worrying about it and continued eating his meal as if nothing had happened.
Seeing Wang Hu's calm demeanor, seemingly unconcerned about the matter, Lin Xiaoxuan felt a surge of dissatisfaction and disappointment. She had expected Wang Hu to at least show some surprise or anger, but to her surprise, he showed no reaction whatsoever, even appearing somewhat relieved.
Lin Xiaoxuan grew angrier the more she thought about it, and couldn't help but mutter angrily to herself: "Hmph, what exactly does this damn Wang Hu mean? Does he really look down on me? What is it about me, Lin Xiaoxuan, that makes me unworthy of him? I said those things, and he didn't even give me the slightest reaction!"
Just as Lin Xiaoxuan was feeling indignant, she suddenly roared, "Wang Hu, what exactly do you mean? What, you look down on me? I've already said all that, and you're just like a wooden doll, not saying a word!"
Wang Hu was startled by the sudden roar. He was completely bewildered and had no idea why Lin Xiaoxuan was so angry.
This woman's heart is truly unfathomable, like a needle at the bottom of the sea. However, Wang Hu knew in his heart that he had no intention of provoking this young lady at all, so he quickly wiped his mouth, stood up, and turned to leave without saying a word.
"I have to go now. Just give me a call next time you need to practice driving," Wang Hu said as he walked away, not wanting to offend this young lady too much. You never know when you might need someone from the government.
When Wang Hu came out, he was stunned. He suddenly realized that his beloved car was still quietly parked in front of Lin Xiaoxuan's house! You see, he had come in Lin Xiaoxuan's Hyundai, and to make matters worse, the car keys were still tightly held in Lin Xiaoxuan's small and delicate hand.
Looking around, he saw that the club stood alone on a deserted hilltop. There wasn't a taxi in sight, not even a ghost. Left with no other choice, Wang Hu gritted his teeth and had to bite the bullet and head back to find Lin Xiaoxuan.
When Lin Xiaoxuan saw Wang Hu slink back, a smug smile immediately appeared on her face, as if she had won a battle. Her slender hand tightly gripped the car keys, her expression one of triumph. Just moments before, as Wang Hu angrily turned to leave, Lin Xiaoxuan was about to chase after him when she caught sight of the gleaming car keys on the ground.
"Hmph, you don't have car keys. I'd like to see how you leave here. Either apologize to me honestly, or you'll have to walk down the mountain today." After saying that, Lin Xiaoxuan deliberately inserted her fingers into the key chain and slowly twirled them, while giving Wang Hu an extremely arrogant look, as if she was provoking him.
However, Wang Hu was the kind of person who wouldn't respond to force but to gentle persuasion. Hearing Lin Xiaoxuan's words and seeing her arrogant demeanor, he was immediately enraged: "Why should I apologize to you? I came back just to ask if you're leaving or not. If you're not leaving, I can just call a car to pick me up."
Upon hearing this, Lin Xiaoxuan narrowed her eyes disdainfully, her lips curling up slightly as she sneered, "If you're so capable, go ahead and call one. In this godforsaken place, if you can even call a taxi, you'll be considered very capable."
After all, she frequents this place and is well aware of the surrounding traffic conditions. Taxi drivers are unwilling to come to such a remote mountain to pick up passengers.
Wang Hu thought to himself, "The only one who can drive here is Zhang Feng, but if I ask her to pick me up, she'll probably laugh herself to death. Li Wanting won't do either; I just stood her up, and she's probably still angry."
Wang Hu figured he could only coax her. All Wang Hu knew how to coax a woman was to kiss her. He walked behind Lin Xiaoxuan, turned her head around, and kissed her hard.
After the two separated, Lin Xiaoxuan's face was flushed. Wang Hu picked her up, took the keys from her hand, and dragged her out.
The people inside saw everything clearly. The man in the suit quickly turned around to make a phone call. One of the people Liu Yu had brought had just arrived in the lobby and seen the situation, so he hurried back to the private room to report it.
The previously noisy atmosphere in the private room instantly froze. After hearing this sudden news, Liu Yu jumped up from her seat as if struck by lightning, and asked loudly with a look of astonishment, "Does any of you know anything about this person?"
Just as everyone was exchanging bewildered glances, a hand slowly rose, and the person holding the hand was none other than Liu Feng from the driving school. It turned out that Liu Feng and Liu Yu were distant relatives. He cautiously began, "Sister Yu, I...I do know a little bit about that person." He then proceeded to tell Liu Yu everything he knew about that person.
After hearing this news, Liu Yu's curiosity about Wang Hu spread like wildfire. She was especially intrigued when she learned that Wang Hu could shatter an incredibly hard brick with a single punch.
In truth, Liu Yu didn't dislike men; it was just that men less powerful than her rarely caught her eye. Now, however, the mysterious and exceptionally strong Wang Hu had successfully captured her attention.
As for her previous act of showing no interest in men in front of her parents, it was all just an act. She did this simply to make her parents give up completely and stop urging her to attend all sorts of annoying blind dates.
At this moment, Liu Yu's gaze swept firmly across everyone present, and then he decisively ordered, "Everyone, please help me thoroughly investigate this Wang Hu. I want to know exactly what his profession is, where he currently lives, and all other relevant information—not a single detail can be overlooked!"
As soon as she finished speaking, a little girl sitting next to her couldn't help but whisper, "Sister Yu, you wouldn't happen to have taken a liking to Wang Hu, would you? You know, he's Lin Xiaoxuan's boyfriend. Besides, I happened to see him yesterday. I was on my way to the courthouse to get the keys from my dad."
