Chapter 125 Angry Curse of Zhang Ergou

Wang Hu was a little angry. He had coerced his woman, and it seemed that he had also been scolded by Hua Lei.

Mr. Liu was furious. His floor's rental situation had never been good; he hadn't managed to rent out a single room yet. But he never expected someone to deliberately sabotage and create obstacles behind his back. This caused his anger to erupt like a volcano!

Mr. Liu strode into the room with a menacing air, went straight to the man who looked extremely sleazy, pointed at him and started cursing: "You damned Zhang Ergou, I finally understand why I can't rent out this house no matter what. It's all because of you, you stinking bug, who's been causing trouble here!"

Immediately afterward, Mr. Liu turned around abruptly and roared at his wife beside him, "Zhang Lirong, look at this! This is your so-called cousin! You patted your chest and assured me that he was absolutely reliable and wouldn't cause us any trouble. Now look what you've done, he's made such a mess of things!"

At this moment, Mr. Liu's wife was also flustered and at a loss. She had never expected that her cousin, who usually seemed honest and reliable, would be so unreliable. Faced with her husband's questioning and scolding, she could only stammer and mumble for a long time, unable to say a single word clearly.

Zhang Ergou, on the other hand, was stunned by Boss Liu's sudden outburst of scolding, standing there frozen for several seconds. After regaining his composure, he hurriedly tried to explain, "Brother-in-law, it really wasn't me..."

However, before he could finish speaking, he was rudely interrupted by the furious General Manager Liu: "Shut the hell up! If it wasn't you, then who else could it be? Get the hell out of here!"

After saying that, Mr. Liu glared at his wife again and said fiercely, "Zhang Lirong, from now on, don't send any more of your relatives from your hometown to me. What kind of people are they? They're just a bunch of rabble!"

Zhang Ergou had initially hoped that his eloquent cousin, Zhang Lirong, could intercede on his behalf and perhaps save him from this predicament. However, to his utter surprise, Zhang Lirong not only failed to plead for him but also received a severe reprimand. Faced with this situation, Zhang Ergou deflated like a punctured balloon, losing all courage to argue. He could only tuck his tail between his legs and slink away in disgrace.

Hua Lei, who had been holding back her anger for some reason, saw Zhang Ergou being humiliated and thoroughly scolded, and her anger instantly dissipated, replaced by an indescribable sense of satisfaction and catharsis. But just then, her gaze inadvertently swept behind President Liu and she spotted a familiar figure standing there—Wang Hu! In an instant, Hua Lei realized that the help behind this turmoil had come from her thoughtful little man.

Despite her inner joy and gratitude, Hua Lei knew she couldn't easily reveal their intimate relationship at this moment. So, suppressing her excitement, she calmly asked Mr. Liu, "You must be the real landlord, right? What brings you here today?"

With a smile, Mr. Liu replied calmly, "That's right, I am the owner of this house. However, I plan to sell this entire floor, and from now on, Mr. Wang will be the new landlord." As he spoke, Mr. Liu gestured to Wang Hu beside him.

Wang Hu naturally noticed Hua Lei's deliberate act of pretending not to know him. After pondering for a moment, he quickly understood her concerns. He stepped forward confidently, extended his right hand, and politely introduced himself: "Hello, my name is Wang Hu. I hope you will take care of me in the future."

Seeing this, Hua Lei quickly reached out her hand in response, saying politely, "Hello, my name is Hua Lei, please take care of me." The two shook hands in a way that seemed awkward but was actually full of tacit understanding. As soon as they let go, Hua Lei playfully tickled Wang Hu's palm with her fingertips.

Guan Xiaomei, who had been silently observing everything from behind, took in the entire interaction between the two and found it extremely amusing. She couldn't help but purse her lips, cover her mouth with her hand, and try her best to suppress her laughter.

After General Manager Liu left with Wang Hu and the others, Wang Xiaomei seemed to be freed from some kind of restraint, and without any hesitation, she lay down on the ground, followed by a burst of unrestrained, deafening laughter. The laughter seemed to pierce the clouds and echo throughout the entire city. Meanwhile, Hua Lei, standing nearby, was furious, her face flushed red, and she kept tickling Wang Xiaomei with both hands.

Meanwhile, the group arrived at the agency. Upon entering, Zhou Xiuxiu quickly pulled out the crucial contract from a folder and handed it to Wang Hu. Wang Hu didn't sign it immediately, but instead acted with considerable caution. He carefully took out his phone and meticulously photographed each page of the contract. After taking the photos, he quickly sent them to Li Wanting, asking her to review them.

However, to Wang Hu's surprise, almost the instant he sent the photos, Li Wanting's phone rang incessantly. Her angry, slightly reproachful voice came through the line: "Wang Hu! What kind of photos did you take? They're blurry and unreadable! How am I supposed to review them? Tell me where you are right now, I'll come over and take a look myself!"

Upon hearing this, Wang Hu was taken aback for a moment, then obediently reported their address to Li Wanting. After hanging up the phone, he looked at President Liu somewhat apologetically and said, "President Liu, please wait a moment, my lawyer will be here soon." President Liu nodded understandingly.

Actually, the photos Wang Hu took were quite clear, but how could the clever and quick-witted Li Wanting not see them clearly? She was merely using this as an excuse to see Wang Hu. After all, this somewhat proud girl wouldn't easily lower herself to directly express her longing for Wang Hu. That's why she came up with this plan.

As luck would have it, Li Wanting's law firm wasn't far from there. So, just over ten minutes later, a car pulled up smoothly in front of the agency. The door opened, and Li Wanting, dressed in professional attire, walked in with elegant steps.
