Yu Hui parted her lips slightly and said, "The three of them went on a trip together. They originally planned to invite me along, but I have children at home to take care of, so I couldn't go with them." After saying that, she sighed softly.
Upon hearing this, Wang Hu stared wide-eyed in astonishment and asked anxiously, "They actually went on a trip? Where did they go? And such a big thing, and none of the three of them told me!" He seemed somewhat dissatisfied and puzzled.
Yu Hui glanced at him and replied casually, "They didn't go anywhere else. We have many nice scenic spots right here. They just visited these places."
Hearing this, Wang Hu nodded as if he suddenly understood, and replied, "Oh, I see." Then, as if he had thought of something, he continued to say to Hui, "Honey, it's perfectly fine if you want to bring your girlfriends here to play or stay. After all, this is your own house, so why are you having any concerns?"
Yu Hui looked embarrassed and explained in a low voice, "Sigh, I'm just worried about what people will say!"
At this moment, Wang Hu winked at Yu Hui with a grin and teased, "Oh, baby, you don't need to be afraid at all! Besides, I think everyone will envy you when they find out about this! Look how amazing you are, finding a handsome 18-year-old like me as your boyfriend. Which of them can do that?"
Upon hearing this, Yu Hui's heart skipped a beat, realizing that Wang Hu's words did indeed make a lot of sense. After all, Wang Hu was more than ten years younger than her, and whenever she chatted with her girlfriends, they would often jokingly say they wanted to try their luck with a "younger man." Now that her wish had actually come true, she would definitely feel incredibly proud!
To my surprise, she actually did it! Thinking of this, she couldn't help but laugh out loud. Her laughter was clear and melodious, like silver bells echoing in the air.
At this moment, Wang Hu gently picked up the child from Yu Hui's warm embrace with a loving expression. Strangely enough, the child seemed to have a special affinity with Wang Hu, beaming with joy as soon as he saw him, waving his little hands incessantly, and making cheerful babbling sounds.
Wang Hu happily teased the child, gently saying, "Sweetie, call me Daddy. Stop just giggling and laughing like an idiot. Come on, call me Daddy and let me hear it." To everyone's surprise, the child actually called out "Daddy" in a sweet, childish voice.
Hearing the child's innocent call, Wang Hu was taken aback for a moment, then burst into a hearty laugh, filling the entire room with a joyful atmosphere. Seeing this, Yu Hui felt a pang of jealousy. She pouted and, somewhat disgruntled, took the child back into her arms.
Then, Yu Hui said softly to the child with a hint of petulance, "Baby, be good and call me Mommy." However, to everyone's surprise, the child blinked his big, bright eyes, looked at Yu Hui, and clearly called out "Daddy."
This delighted Wang Hu, who laughed so hard he almost couldn't straighten up. Seeing this, Yu Hui angrily shoved the child into Wang Hu's hands, saying sternly, "Hmph, this child is yours to take care of!" With that, she turned and strode quickly towards the kitchen, her eyes slightly red, on the verge of tears.
Seeing Yu Hui's state, Wang Hu panicked and didn't know how to comfort her. After thinking it over, he decided to continue teaching the child to say "Mama," hoping it would ease the awkward situation. Unexpectedly, the little one actually had a great talent for languages, and in no time, under Wang Hu's patient guidance, she learned to say "Mama."
As Yu Hui carried the fragrant food out of the kitchen, she happened to hear her child sweetly call out, "Mommy!" In that instant, the gloom on her face vanished, replaced by a happy smile and tears of joy. The family of three sat around the table, enjoying this incredibly warm moment.
After finishing his meal, Wang Hu gently put down his chopsticks, smiled, and carried his child to the living room where the child was playing. He knelt down, gently stroked the child's hair, and whispered, "Baby, Daddy's here to play with you!" The child clapped his hands excitedly and giggled.
Wang Hu and his child built blocks and played with toy cars together, and time flew by amidst laughter and joy. However, children have limited energy, and before long, the little one began to yawn and rub his eyes. Soon after, he fell into a deep sleep in his arms.
Wang Hu carefully picked up the baby, slowly walked to the crib, gently placed her on the soft mattress, and carefully covered her with a small blanket. Just then, Yu Hui came out of the kitchen after washing the dishes. She saw Wang Hu gazing at his sleeping child, his eyes filled with fatherly love and doting. Yu Hui herself looked exhausted, with a few beads of sweat on her forehead.
Wang Hu turned to Yu Hui and said with concern, "Honey, let's hire a nanny. Our house is so big, and she has to take care of the kids, clean, and cook for us all every day. It's really too much work." Hearing this, Yu Hui felt a warmth in her heart and replied coquettishly, "Hmph, you finally know how to care about me! I thought you were always too busy with work to see how hard I work."
Actually, since Wang Hu's house was being renovated, the three of them have been living with Yu Hui. Yu Hui not only has to do housework and take care of the children's daily needs, but also prepare meals for the whole family. Although Wang Hu provides her with money for household expenses, the daily grind still leaves her feeling somewhat overwhelmed.
Wang Hu stepped forward, gently put his arm around Yu Hui's shoulder, and comforted her, "How could you not see? Honey, you're the pillar of our family. But, you should reconsider hiring a nanny. Also, I've given you all the money for household expenses, so as the lady of the house, you need to fully utilize your initiative." After saying that, he playfully winked at Yu Hui.
Yu Hui rolled her eyes at him and said irritably, "Oh, you make it sound so easy. Do you think I lack initiative? Look at Zhang Feng and the other two, they've all opened online stores and their businesses are thriving. Why don't I try opening an online store too? Maybe I can earn some extra money and ease the financial burden on my family."
Wang Hu said, "There's no financial pressure; I can easily support you all. If you like this, you can open one; it's quite profitable. If you don't like it, you can consider other options."
