Just as Wang Hu hurried past Shen Wanqing's office, he happened to catch her gently pushing open the tightly closed door.
Their eyes met instantly, and Shen Wanqing's cheeks flushed slightly, as if a blush had crept across them. After all, the commotion they had just caused was quite significant, and many of their colleagues had likely heard about it.
Her office was closer, so she could hear it more clearly. Having been widowed for a long time, she had just taken care of it herself.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm her somewhat flustered emotions, and then said softly, "Mr. Wang, I have something I'd like to report to you. Would it be convenient for us to move to my office to discuss this in detail?" After speaking, she stepped aside, making way for Wang Hu to pass through.
Upon hearing this, Wang Hu hesitated for a moment before replying, "Alright, since you have something to say, let's talk in your office." Before he finished speaking, he had already stepped into Shen Wanqing's office.
After Wang Hu entered the room, Shen Wanqing cautiously glanced outside and noticed that all the employees had immediately lowered their heads, as if afraid of making eye contact with her. Seeing this, Shen Wanqing quickly and gently closed the door.
Immediately afterwards, Shen Wanqing picked up a document from the table, respectfully handed it to Wang Hu, and explained, "Mr. Wang, this is the contract for the garment factory we plan to acquire. Please take a look and sign your name."
As Wang Hu took the document, he asked with a puzzled look, "Why do I need to sign it? Didn't I already entrust this matter entirely to you?" However, despite his words, his hands did not stop moving, and he quickly signed his name in a flamboyant manner.
Seeing that Wang Hu had successfully signed the document, Shen Wanqing quickly took the document and said, "For important matters like this involving large sums of money, it would be more appropriate for you, the boss, to sign it personally."
However, when she turned her gaze back to Wang Hu, she looked hesitant, as if she had something difficult to say.
Wang Hu's eyebrows furrowed as he stared intently at her. He said in a hearty tone, "Just say what you have to say! Don't beat around the bush!" He crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair, seemingly not expecting much from what he was about to hear.
Standing opposite her, Shen Wanqing lowered her head slightly and remained silent for a moment, as if she were organizing her thoughts.
Then, she raised her head, her beautiful eyes looking firmly at Wang Hu. After composing herself, she took a deep breath, as if gathering her courage, before speaking: "Mr. Wang, although it may not be appropriate for me to say this, I feel I still have to remind you that you do need to be a little more careful about the impact of some of your recent actions."
As soon as she finished speaking, a blush instantly spread across Shen Wanqing's fair cheeks, as delicate and luscious as a ripe apple.
Upon hearing these words, Wang Hu's face flushed crimson. He straightened up from his slumber on the sofa.
He clearly hadn't expected to hear such words from Shen Wanqing, and for a moment he felt both embarrassed and shy. After a few seconds of stunned silence, he stammered out, "I...I'll be more careful in the future."
After saying this, Wang Hu, like a startled rabbit, quickly got up and fled Shen Wanqing's office. All the way, his heart pounded, and the scene that had just unfolded kept replaying in his mind.
As he passed through the office area, he keenly noticed the curious glances cast at him by many employees. At that moment, he was certain that many people had overheard his passionate encounter with Guan Xiaomei. So, Wang Hu quickened his pace, almost jogging, as he left the company.
Shen Wanqing watched Wang Hu's retreating figure, remembering her mother's words. She bit her lip, her eyes becoming hazy, and then shook her head after a while.
He slapped his head and said, "Shen Wanqing, wake up! He's your boss."
Downstairs, Wang Hu rushed to his luxurious Maybach, opened the door, and got into the driver's seat. As soon as he got in, he vigorously rubbed his burning cheeks with his right hand, trying to calm himself down. The scene just now was so embarrassing; it could only be described as "socially humiliating."
At that moment, Wang Hu inwardly groaned, thinking to himself, "I should try to avoid this place for the next couple of days. After the company moves, the office must be soundproofed; we can't let this happen again!" With that thought, he sighed helplessly, started the car, and sped away.
Wang Hu arrived at the building of the well-known law firm where Li Wanting worked. Looking up, the modern building soared into the clouds, its imposing presence striking. After entering the building, he went straight to the elevator and pressed the button for Li Wanting's floor.
Stepping out of the elevator, Wang Hu took out his phone and dialed Li Wanting's number. A moment later, that familiar, gentle voice came through the receiver: "Hello? Wang Hu, I'm busy here, but come on up first, we can go shopping together later." Hearing this, Wang Hu's lips curled into a slight smile, and he replied with an "okay" before heading towards Li Wanting's office.
Soon, Wang Hu arrived at Li Wanting's office door. He knocked gently, and after receiving permission, he pushed the door open and entered. He saw Li Wanting sitting at her desk, busily flipping through documents. Her previously furrowed brows relaxed the moment she saw Wang Hu, and a radiant smile bloomed on her face. She looked up at Wang Hu and said, "You're here! Come and sit here for a while. I have a little something to take care of, but I'll be done soon."
Wang Hu did as instructed and sat down on the sofa. He had barely settled in when a young intern rushed in and said to Li Wanting, "Ms. Li, everyone attending the meeting has arrived and is waiting for you." Li Wanting nodded, then turned to Wang Hu and said, "Excuse me, Wang Hu, I have to go to a meeting first. Please wait here for a moment." With that, she got up and quickly followed the intern out of the office.
This meeting room is not far from Li Wanting's office, and the entire wall is made of transparent glass.
Although Wang Hu couldn't hear the sounds inside, he could clearly see Li Wanting earnestly explaining the plan on stage. At that moment, she was wearing a well-tailored business suit, exuding elegance and confidence, and displaying the demeanor of a powerful woman in every gesture.
Wang Hu gazed at her quietly, secretly thinking to himself: Such a strong and capable woman, tonight she would actually be writhing and submitting to his pleasure; just thinking about it made him incredibly excited and expectant.
