Seeing this, Chen Linlin felt a pang of jealousy. She had been eager to be intimate with Wang Hu, but Zhang Feng stopped her first. After finally getting to the kitchen with Wang Hu, he suddenly let go of her hand and hugged Meng Zhiyun instead.
Enraged, Chen Linlin stomped her feet, the clatter of her delicate high heels echoing on the floor as if venting her fury. She rushed up behind Wang Hu and, without hesitation, kicked him hard in the backside with a resounding "smack."
Wang Hu was bewildered by the sudden kick. He was about to ask what was going on when he turned around and saw Chen Linlin pouting, her face full of anger. Before he could react, Chen Linlin abruptly turned and strode heavily out of the kitchen without looking back. Just listening to her receding footsteps, one could clearly feel her displeasure and resentment.
Meng Zhiyun carefully pulled the hand that was about to reach into her chest and said softly, "Go and coax her. She's been missing you for days. If you keep ignoring her like this, it's no wonder she's angry."
Upon hearing this, Wang Hu seemed to snap out of a daze. He hurriedly stood up, took three steps at a time, and ran out, plopping down next to Chen Linlin. He saw Chen Linlin pouting her pink lips, turning her head away with a displeased expression. Seeing this, Wang Hu couldn't help but find it amusing and burst out laughing.
Hearing the laughter, Chen Linlin turned around abruptly and glared fiercely at Wang Hu. Seeing that Wang Hu not only showed no remorse but laughed even louder, she became furious and pounced on him, tearing and biting at him while scratching him with both hands.
However, faced with Chen Linlin's actions, Wang Hu was not angry at all; on the contrary, he was overjoyed. He took the opportunity to stretch out his arms and hug Chen Linlin tightly, thinking to himself: This is much better than her pouting and giving me the cold shoulder.

His voice was deep and gentle, like a warm spring breeze caressing Chen Linlin's heart.
Chen Linlin's originally fair face instantly flushed with a radiant blush, as alluring as a ripe apple. Her large, watery eyes gazed unblinkingly at Wang Hu, a hint of shyness and anticipation in them. She replied coquettishly, "Then you'd better keep your word, okay? You have to spend the whole day with me!" As soon as she finished speaking, she gently bit her lip, looking utterly adorable.
Wang Hu smiled and nodded, replying, "Mm." Then, he couldn't help but lean down and gently kiss Chen Linlin's soft, pink lips. Though brief, the kiss was filled with boundless affection and longing.
Then, Wang Hu took Chen Linlin's hand and they sat down at the table together. After settling Chen Linlin in, he turned and went into the kitchen to help Meng Zhiyun, who was busy preparing a series of delicious dishes.
