Chapter 235 Luan Ying, who was almost crying

Luan Ying was intently mending clothes when a clear, loud whistle suddenly rang in her ears. The sound broke the tranquility of the room, causing Luan Ying to involuntarily stop what she was doing and look up.

Wang Hu peeked out of the window of his house, a toothpick in his mouth, and whistled leisurely at her.

When Wang Hu saw that Luan Ying had noticed him, he smiled and waved to her, making an inviting gesture, signaling her to come over.

Seeing this, Luan Ying, though somewhat puzzled, obediently put aside the unfinished needlework in her hands, got up, and slowly walked towards the window.

As she approached, she tilted her head slightly to look at Wang Hu and asked, "What do you want from me?" Her tone was tinged with curiosity and confusion.

Wang Hu looked at Luan Ying with a grin, a hint of teasing in his eyes, and said, "It's nothing, I just wanted to ask, I've already given you so much money, why did you bother to mend that old and tattered dress? The New Year is almost here, why don't you use that money to buy a couple of brand new and beautiful clothes to wear? Wouldn't that be better?"

Upon hearing this, Luan Ying frowned and retorted with her head tilted back, "When did you give me any money? I don't know anything about it!"

Wang Hu chuckled and quickly explained, "Oh, it was when we were playing cards together yesterday. I deliberately lost to you guys! Otherwise, with my card skills, how could you have won so much!"

However, Luan Ying didn't buy it at all. She snorted and replied coquettishly, "Hmph! Don't give me that. We won by our own strength, not by your charity!" After saying that, she rolled her eyes at Wang Hu playfully.

Looking at Luan Ying's cherry-like lips, slightly pouting in anger, Wang Hu suddenly felt a dryness in his mouth. He composed himself and asked in a low voice, "Um... are there any other people in your house right now?"

Luan Ying was a little confused by his sudden question, but she still answered truthfully, "No, I'm home alone. What's wrong?"

Upon hearing her reply, Wang Hu's lips curled into a mysterious smile. He then uttered only the words, "Wait for me," before vanishing from the window like a ghost.

Her heart pounded wildly, as if gripped tightly by an invisible hand. A complex mix of emotions—tension, longing, and joy—swirled together like a raging fire, instantly engulfing her. Her once fair face flushed crimson, like a ripe apple, as if it could bleed.

Time ticked by, and after about ten seconds, a series of hurried and powerful footsteps approached. Wang Hu's tall figure soon appeared in front of her house. Luan Ying stared intently at the approaching figure, her heart pounding wildly, as if it might leap out of her throat at any moment.

Just as Wang Hu was about to reach her, he suddenly opened his arms, as if preparing to embrace Luan Ying. Upon seeing this, Luan Ying instinctively bent down and nimbly dodged, then darted towards the door like a startled rabbit. In the blink of an eye, she had reached the door, quickly closed it, and then deftly locked it.

Upon seeing Luan Ying's reaction, Wang Hu was slightly taken aback, then a meaningful smile appeared on his face. He slowly walked to the door, leaned close to Luan Ying's ear, and whispered, "I just wanted to come and chat with you, why are you reacting so strongly? You even locked the door!"

Luan Ying, whose face was initially flushed with embarrassment, turned pale instantly upon hearing Wang Hu's words, followed by a blush of anger and embarrassment. Her eyes gradually welled up with tears, and her voice trembled with an undisguised sob: "You..."

Upon seeing Luan Ying's expression, Wang Hu immediately realized that his joke had gone a bit too far. In truth, he knew perfectly well that Luan Ying was currently experiencing a fierce internal struggle and resistance.

She had finally mustered the courage to face him, only to hear such embarrassing words. Naturally, she felt wronged and upset.

Wang Hu held her tightly in his arms like an iron clamp, gently stroking her silky hair with one hand. He gazed affectionately at her eyes, which were red from crying, and said with deep remorse, "Baby, I'm so sorry. I'm always so quick to speak and often don't think before I speak!"

However, at this moment, Luan Ying still stared at him with resentful eyes, as if trying to convey all her dissatisfaction and grievances through that gaze. Seeing this, Wang Hu leaned down without hesitation, his lips precisely covering Luan Ying's delicate and luscious cherry lips.

Luan Ying struggled at first, pushing hard against Wang Hu's broad and sturdy chest with both hands, but after several attempts, she found that she could not break free from his strong embrace.

Gradually, with Wang Hu's passionate and lingering kisses, Luan Ying's tense body began to relax, and her resistance slowly turned into acceptance. She involuntarily stretched out her arms and hugged Wang Hu's thick neck.

After their lips parted, Luan Ying said softly and coquettishly, "Let's go inside, not here..." Upon hearing this, Wang Hu's heart warmed, and a barely perceptible glint of excitement flashed in his eyes. Then, he suddenly swept Luan Ying up in his arms and carefully carried her towards the bedroom as if she were the most precious treasure in the world.
