Half an hour later, the car slowly pulled up at the roadside rest stop. The door opened, and Wang Hu got out of the driver's seat first, followed by Xue Qiqin, who gracefully stepped out of the passenger seat.
The two walked side by side, chatting and laughing, their faces beaming with joy, appearing to be in exceptionally good spirits.
Just then, Coach Hu strode over. He had just returned to the car to observe Xue Qiqin's driving for a while and found her driving quite smoothly, so he didn't stop her but let Wang Hu continue instructing her. Seeing the two get out of the car, Coach Hu smiled and said, "Little Xue, you have a really good learning ability! To drive so smoothly on your first practice session, it seems you really have some talent for driving!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Coach Hu turned his gaze to Liu Feng, who was standing to the side, and his face instantly turned serious: "Liu Feng, look at Xiao Xue, she's a woman and she's learning so fast. And look at yourself, if you could learn as diligently as she does, you probably would have gotten your driver's license long ago! Stop dawdling and come practice driving!" After saying that, Coach Hu got into the car without looking back.
At this moment, Liu Feng was seething with anger. He didn't like the newcomer Wang Hu to begin with, and he hadn't expected that this guy would scold him on his very first day. What was even more infuriating was that Xue Qiqin, the beautiful woman who had previously ignored him, was chatting and laughing happily with Wang Hu, which made Liu Feng's anger burn even more fiercely.
Liu Feng's face was full of anger, and the veins on his forehead were bulging. He shouted at the top of his lungs, "I'm not learning anymore!"
No sooner had he finished speaking than Liu Feng, like a raging bull, stormed straight toward Wang Hu. His eyes were fixed on Wang Hu as if spitting fire, and he said viciously, "You just wait!"
Wang Hu was somewhat bewildered by Liu Feng's sudden action, but seeing the other party's aggressive demeanor, he figured this guy was definitely looking for trouble. So, he quickly bent down, picked up a brick from the nearby bushes, and held it in his hand.
At this moment, Xue Qiqin noticed what was happening. Startled, she thought the two were about to come to blows. She quickly ran towards Wang Hu, stretching out her hands to try and stop him, anxiously calling out, "Wang Hu, please don't be impulsive! Let's talk this out!"
Hearing Xue Qiqin's call, Wang Hu turned to look at her. A smile appeared on his face, and he seemed quite calm. Then, he gently reached out and took the hand that Xue Qiqin was using to stop him, and softly comforted her, "Don't worry, Sister Xue, I'm not that stupid. I won't do anything rash."
Then, Wang Hu turned his gaze to Liu Feng again, waved at him, and said provocatively, "Hey, come here."
Seeing that Liu Feng still didn't move, Wang Hu said again, "What, are you scared? There are cameras everywhere here. Are you worried I'll beat you up?"
At first, Liu Feng genuinely believed that Wang Hu was going to hit him with a brick. He regretted provoking Wang Hu, thinking that an outsider was easy to bully, but he didn't expect to run into a tough nut to crack.
Hearing Wang Hu say that he wasn't going to hit him with bricks and that there were security cameras around, he steeled himself and walked up to Wang Hu.
"Why did you call me over?" Liu Feng asked, mustering his courage.
"Watch closely," Wang Hu replied succinctly, then threw a punch at the brick. The brick shattered instantly, scattering fragments that shocked everyone present.
Coach Hu walked over, examined Wang Hu's hands, and asked in surprise, "Wang Hu, how did you do that?" The people around him were also curious, especially the beautiful woman, Lin Xiaoxuan, who was with Xue Qiqin.
"Handsome, what's your name? You're so amazing, let's be friends," Lin Xiaoxuan said, and the two exchanged contact information.
What Wang Hu really wanted was to get Xue Qiqin's attention. He turned to look at Xue Qiqin, who was chatting with Lin Xiaoxuan and occasionally glancing at him with admiration.
Coach Hu interrupted his thoughts: "The theory test is at eight o'clock tomorrow morning. Don't be late, and remember to bring all your documents."
After thanking her, Wang Hu turned to Xue Qiqin and asked for her contact information: "Sister Xue, please leave your phone number. I'd like to treat you to a meal sometime."
Xue Qiqin was somewhat surprised. Her son was two years older than Wang Hu, and his actions clearly indicated that he was pursuing her. She had feelings for Wang Hu, but as a married woman, she didn't know how to refuse him.
Lin Xiaoxuan interjected again: "If you want to invite my aunt to dinner, you have to take me with you, right? Just let me know, and I'll bring my aunt along."
Wang Hu was speechless for a moment, not expecting the two to be so close. Although he didn't get Xue Qiqin's contact information directly.
But he did not give up completely. After saying goodbye to the two, he turned and left.
When Wang got home, no one was there, so he called Chen Linlin.
Wang Hu frowned and asked in confusion, "Hey, Linlin, why can't I see a single person in this house?" As he spoke, he looked around the house.
Chen Linlin stopped wiping the window and straightened up, replying, "Oh dear, didn't we say we'd rent a place ourselves? We're doing a thorough cleaning of the place we're renting right now!" A few beads of sweat had appeared on her forehead, but her hands never stopped working.
Upon hearing this, Wang Hu immediately perked up and hurriedly asked, "Oh, where did you rent the place? I'll come over and take a look!" With that, he turned to walk out.
Chen Linlin replied with a smile, "It's right here in the neighborhood where we live now. Just come over! The exact address is..." She gave Wang Hu the detailed address.
