Wang Hu couldn't help but sigh, "If this notebook is handed over, it could probably implicate a whole bunch of people!"
He carefully tucked the notebook into his pocket, then put the passports and other items back in their original places, trying to keep the room as it was.
"Let's go!" Wang Hu said softly, seemingly not wanting to attract unnecessary attention.

Wang Hu pointed at the account book and said angrily, "Look at these beasts! They don't even spare teenage girls!"
Qian Rou's reaction was beyond Wang Hu's expectations. Her fingertips dug deeply into the ledger, her knuckles turning white as frost. She stared intently at the line of words, a broken murmur escaping her throat: "So it was...you..." The last syllable sounded like a snapped string on a musical instrument.
The ledger fell to the ground with a "thud," and she suddenly curled up and knelt down. A violent tremor spread from her spine to her fingertips, and a mixture of soft sobs and suppressed laughter exploded in the empty room, like the mournful cry of a trapped beast before its death.
