After finishing all that, Wang Hu felt a little tired, but he still quickly dialed the hotel's number and asked them to send up a sumptuous breakfast.
A moment later, the doorbell rang. Wang Hu opened the door and took the breakfast brought by the waiter. He placed the breakfast on the table, then smiled and said to Liu Ying, "Here, try this crystal xiaolongbao, it tastes very good!" As he spoke, he specially picked up a xiaolongbao and placed it in Liu Ying's bowl.
Liu Ying looked at the steamed buns in front of her; their aroma was irresistible and made her mouth water.
She carefully picked up the xiaolongbao, took a small bite, and instantly, the delicious soup burst in her mouth. Her eyes narrowed involuntarily, and she made a satisfied "mmmmm" sound.
"Is it delicious? Eat more, and then we'll go out and play together!" Wang Hu said enthusiastically.
With her mouth full of steamed buns, Liu Ying mumbled, "Go out and play by yourself, I want to rest for a bit."
Wang Hu looked at Liu Ying with some surprise and asked, "Don't you want to go out and play? The weather is so nice today, it would be so nice to go for a walk."
Liu Ying blushed slightly. She glared at Wang Hu and scolded him, "What do you think, you beast!"
Seeing this, Wang Hu's lips curled into a wicked smile, and he teased, "Didn't you take the initiative this morning? You even told me to lie still, acting like a female knight!"
Liu Ying's face flushed even redder, and she quickly exclaimed, "Oh! Stop talking, I need to rest!"
Seeing that Liu Ying was a little shy, Wang Hu stopped teasing her and started eating his breakfast by himself.
Time flies, and it's already past ten o'clock.
After finishing breakfast, Wang Hu felt rather bored staying in the hotel alone, so he decided to go out for a walk.
Just as he was thinking about where to go for fun, his phone suddenly rang. It was Qian Rou calling.
Wang Hu smiled and pressed the answer button, saying, "Hey, did you miss me? Calling me so early in the morning!"
Qian Rou's voice came from the other end of the phone: "Are you free today? I'd like to introduce you to a stunningly beautiful woman."
Wang Hu muttered to himself, completely baffled as to what this woman was up to. "You're going to introduce me to a stunning beauty? Are you crazy?"
The woman smiled dismissively and replied confidently, "I'm not like those jealous little women, so don't worry! The woman I'm introducing you to is an absolute beauty!"
Wang Hu drove with some skepticism to Qian Rou's apartment building. After parking, he went straight upstairs without hesitation.
When he arrived at Qian Rou's door, he immediately noticed that room 301 across the hall had been sealed off. Wang Hu couldn't help but mutter, "Brother Xue really got things moving fast!"
Wang Hu stood in front of Qian Rou's door and gently knocked. After a short while, the door slowly opened, and Wang Hu stared in astonishment, his mouth agape.
Qian Rou was wearing an off-the-shoulder short leather jacket, paired with ripped denim shorts, and a metal necklace around her neck that shimmered faintly.
The phoenix design on her back was displayed vividly. Her purple hair cascaded down her shoulders like a waterfall, complementing her fiery red lips and exuding a powerful aura.
Wang Hu stared wide-eyed, asking incredulously, "What's with this outfit? You look like a gangster boss! What are you up to? And when did you dye your hair purple? It was black yesterday!"
Qian Rou smiled slightly and explained, "This is a wig. How is it? Doesn't it look good? Why did you come so quickly? I thought you would have to wait a while!"
Wang Hu smiled and said in a relaxed tone, "Haha, I live nearby, and since you called me, I definitely had to come over right away!"
Qian Rou hugged Wang Hu's arm tightly, then stood on tiptoe and gently kissed his cheek, saying softly, "This is your reward. Okay, let's go!"
The car sped along and soon arrived at a villa area. Following the directions given earlier, the car came to a smooth stop in front of a villa.
Wang Hu got out of the car, looked around curiously, then turned to Qian Rou beside him with a suspicious expression and asked, "Who are you taking me to see? I thought we were going to a restaurant, why is it a villa?"
Qian Rou chuckled, grabbed Wang Hu's arm, and said mysteriously, "Oh, don't ask anymore. You'll find out when the time comes. You definitely won't be disappointed. She's an absolute super beauty!"
"Ding-dong!" Qian Rou pressed the doorbell, and the crisp sound of the doorbell echoed in the silent air.
Not long after, the door slowly opened, and a beautiful woman wearing a black lace nightgown appeared in the doorway. The nightgown was made of a material as light as a cicada's wing, almost transparent, vaguely revealing the beautiful curves of her body underneath.
The beautiful woman's hair was casually tied back, with a few strands falling naturally in front of her delicate face, making her look even more beautiful, like a lotus emerging from the water.
Lin Wan quickly covered her chest. She didn't even have time to close the door behind her.
Like a startled rabbit, she turned and ran quickly back to her room to change her clothes.
"Oh dear, Rou Rou, why didn't you tell me you were bringing people over?"
Meanwhile, Qian Rou led Wang Hu into the living room as if nothing had happened. She winked at Wang Hu playfully, as if to say, "See? I didn't lie to you, did I? She's a real beauty!"
As Wang Hu entered the living room, his gaze was immediately drawn to a wedding photo on the wall.
The man in the photo is Song Mingyuan, and the beautiful woman standing next to him is none other than Lin Wan, who had just rushed back to her room!
A strange feeling welled up in Wang Hu's heart. He was about to ask Qian Rou what was going on when Lin Wan, having changed her clothes, came out of the room.
Seeing this, Qian Rou quickly let go of Wang Hu's arm, strode forward, and introduced him with a smile: "Sister-in-law, let me introduce you. This is my new boyfriend, Wang Hu. Isn't he handsome?"
Lin Wan's face hadn't recovered from the embarrassment from before. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, and she said somewhat awkwardly, "Yeah, he is quite handsome."
Qian Rou didn't seem to notice Lin Wan's strangeness. She continued, "Sister-in-law, didn't you say before that I should bring my boyfriend over to meet you after I found him? Well, I've brought him today, so you have to cook us a delicious meal!"
From this, Wang Hu realized that Lin Wan didn't know that Qian Rou had been Song Mingyuan's lover.
And after seeing Qian Rou's reaction to the contents of the black notebook from last night, Wang Hu realized, "This little girl is using me as a pawn!"
To be honest, Wang Hu quite liked her; Lin Wan was indeed very beautiful, and he also disliked Song Mingyuan.
