John put down his gun and turned to look at Wang Hu. Jenny walked over and introduced him, "This is our client, Mr. Wang!"
John disliked Asians very much, especially Chinese people, so he didn't even reach out, but took out a small pistol from the cabinet behind the portrait.
He handed the gun to Wang Hu and said, "I heard that none of you Chinese have ever handled a gun, so I think this one with very little recoil is perfect for you!"
Wang Hu frowned upon hearing this. He wasn't paying money to suffer, so he turned to Jenny and said, "It seems your husband doesn't like me being his client!"
As Wang Hu was about to leave, Jenny immediately stopped him, saying, "I'm so sorry, Wang, I'll have him apologize to you. Please wait a moment!"
The scent of Jenny's perfume made Wang Hu stop in his tracks, and he thought of the cheek kiss he had received a few hours earlier.
Seeing Wang Hu stop, she pulled John into a corner and said, "John, I'm very disappointed in you. What are you doing? These are our clients, not your enemies on the battlefield!"
“Wang is an important client introduced to us by Citibank. Do you know what the consequences will be if Citibank finds out about your conflict with Wang?”
John felt a chill run down his spine upon hearing this and glanced in Wang Hu's direction. As an American, he naturally knew how terrifying these tycoons could be.
Jenny continued, "The king is waiting for your apology. I hope you can sincerely apologize to him. I believe the king will forgive you."
John approached Wang Hu and said, “Mr. Wang, I am very sorry for the bad experience you had. I hope you can give me a chance to make amends. It would be my honor.”
Wang Hu crossed his arms, his gaze shifting between John and Jenny, the latter looking at him with pleading eyes. A faint smile played on his lips as he waved his hand, "For Jenny's sake, I'll let it slide this time. But don't let it happen again; I don't want to pay to suffer." With that, he patted John on the shoulder, but the smile on his lips quickly turned cold as he turned away.
