Chapter 474 From the joy of reunion to the "lessons" of parenting.

This time, Wang Hu didn't take the ferry as usual, but opted for the faster high-speed rail. After a pleasant journey, he finally arrived at the Beilun high-speed rail station.

After exiting the station, Wang Hu immediately hailed a taxi and rushed home. He went to his own building first, only to find the door locked and the housekeeper not there.

Then he walked to the front row, to Yu Hui's building. As soon as he opened the door, he heard a burst of cheerful laughter coming from the living room. Yu Lele was happily playing with building blocks.

Upon hearing the door open, Yu Lele immediately turned around. The moment she saw Wang Hu, her face lit up with a smile, like a blooming flower. She squealed excitedly and pounced on Wang Hu like a joyful little bird.

"Oh, Dad!" Yu Lele's voice was clear and loud, full of longing and love for her father.

Seeing this, Wang Hu quickly squatted down, opened his arms, and steadily held his daughter in his embrace. He lifted Yu Lele high, as if she were the most precious treasure in the world.

"Does Lele miss her dad?" Wang Hu asked gently, his eyes full of affection.

Yu Lele answered in her childish voice, "Lele misses Daddy every day!" Her tender voice was like heavenly music, filling Wang Hu's heart with warmth and happiness.

Hearing his daughter's adorable little voice, Wang Hu's mood brightened even more. He carried Yu Lele into the house, constantly murmuring, "Oh, Lele is such a good baby!"

Just then, Yu Hui heard a noise downstairs and hurried down. When she saw Wang Hu, she first showed a look of surprise, but then complained, "Why didn't you tell me you were coming back? Have you eaten yet?"

Wang Hu smiled and explained to Hui, "I just didn't want you to travel all that way back and forth. Didn't I tell Linlin yesterday that I would be back today?"

Yu Hui suddenly realized what was going on. She rolled her eyes at Wang Hu and said reproachfully, "You can't just not even make a phone call!"

However, at that moment, Yu Lele suddenly interrupted, "Daddy, I want a kiss too!" Her unclear, childish voice made Wang Hu and Yu Hui burst out laughing.

Wang Hu gazed at the elegant and beautiful woman before him, a surge of emotion welling up within him. He gently placed Yu Lele on the ground and said tenderly, "Lele, Daddy needs to talk to Mommy about something. Why don't you play by yourself downstairs for a while, okay?"

Yu Lele blinked her big, watery eyes, tilted her head, and asked innocently, "Then Daddy, you have to hurry! I still want to take you to see the little house I built!"

Wang Hu nodded quickly and replied, "Yes, yes, Dad will definitely be faster this time!" He then gave Yu Lele a loving smile. Next, he winked at the nanny downstairs, then took Yu Hui's hand and eagerly headed upstairs.

The two arrived at the bedroom on the third floor. Wang Hu quickly closed the door behind him and locked it.

Seeing this, Yu Hui asked in confusion, "Didn't you say you had something to tell me? Why did you lock the door?"

Wang Hu's lips curled into a sly smile. Without a word, he scooped Yu Hui up in his arms and carried her straight to the bedside. As he walked, he chuckled and said, "This is the important business!"

Yu Hui gave him a playful glare and scolded, "You just promised Lele you'd go out and play with her."

Wang Hu replied nonchalantly, "Don't worry, we'll just be quick!" Before he finished speaking, he pounced on Yu Hui's lips like a hungry tiger.

At that very moment, downstairs, Yu Lele was cradling her chubby little face, eagerly awaiting her father's return.

As time passed, a hint of anxiety and disappointment gradually appeared on her little face.

Wang Hu didn't come down until 5 o'clock, and then he burst into tears. No matter how the nanny tried to comfort him, it didn't work.

Just then, Chen Linlin and Meng Zhiyun returned from outside with their child and invited Yu Hui to dinner.

Chen Linlin and Meng Zhiyun rushed over to comfort Lele, "What's wrong? Don't cry, don't cry!"

Yu Lele said in a tearful voice, "Aunt Lingling, Aunt Yunyun, where are my mom and dad?"

This left the two of them completely confused. They then turned to the nanny beside them, who pointed upstairs and said, "The gentleman and Miss Yu are upstairs..."

Without needing to say anything more, the two women could guess the gist of it, so they quickly comforted Yu Lele, saying, "Don't be sad, baby. Mommy and Daddy have some urgent business to attend to, but we'll be back soon!"

However, this attempt to comfort her seemed to have no effect; Yu Lele not only didn't stop crying, but cried even harder. To make matters worse, the other four babies in the stroller were also infected and started wailing along with her.

Just then, Wang Hu and Yu Hui finished what they were doing and came downstairs. They immediately saw the chaotic scene before them and were at a loss for what to do.

Several people busied themselves, hugging and comforting one child while trying to soothe another. After a great deal of effort, they finally managed to calm the children down.

When everyone sat down to eat, the two women still didn't let Wang Hu off the hook, continuing to berate him in turn.

“Look at you, how can a father go back on his word?” Meng Zhiyun was the first to challenge him.

“That’s right, the children are still so young. What you’re doing will have a bad influence on them. What if they grow up and don’t keep their word like you?” Chen Linlin chimed in.

Yu Hui listened from the side, a blush creeping onto her face, looking somewhat embarrassed. After all, she was partly responsible for Wang Hu breaking his promise to the child.

Seeing that things were going badly, Wang Hu quickly put his hands together and begged for mercy, saying, "Grandmas, I know I was wrong, please stop talking to me, okay?"

Seeing this, Chen Linlin snorted and said, "Hmph! Since your attitude in admitting your mistake is rather sincere, I'll let you off this time!"

Wang Hu felt as if he had been granted a pardon and quickly thanked her, saying, "Thank you, Your Excellency, for your magnanimity in sparing me this time!"

Wang Hu thought the matter was over, but after Zhang Feng returned from her father's company, she heard about it and scolded Wang Hu again.

Finally, Wang Hu used his ultimate move to calm Zhang Feng down.

Over the next few days, Wang Hu became much more well-behaved, spending his days playing with the children, but he was very happy at night.

However, this good time didn't last even a week before Wang Hu was chased away by four women, who demanded that he come back often to spend time with the children.
