Chapter 490 Afterglow of Passion and Thrilling Moments

Feeling refreshed and in high spirits, Wang Hu hummed a little tune as he stepped out of the elevator. Just then, Sun Li and her family were waiting outside.

Wang Hu greeted them warmly with a smile: "Sister Li, Teacher Huang, and lovely Dou Dou, hello everyone!"

Sun Li seemed a little hesitant to look Wang Hu in the eye, afraid that her husband would notice something amiss. She lowered her head slightly and mumbled, "Hello..." Her voice was as soft as a gentle breeze.

Huang Xiaochu noticed that Wang Hu was wearing a tracksuit, so he smiled and asked, "Mr. Wang, did you just come back from your workout?"

"Yes!" Wang Hu answered readily, his gaze falling on Huang Doudou, who was carrying a small schoolbag and looked ready to go to school. Curious, Wang Hu asked, "Are you taking Doudou to school?"

Huang Xiaochu nodded and explained, "Originally, it was your sister Li who took Dou Dou to school, but she wasn't feeling well today, so I took her instead."

Upon hearing this, Wang Hu and Sun Li exchanged a glance. As their eyes met, a subtle emotion seemed to flow between them—an unspoken understanding and a veiled hint.

Seeing this, Wang Hu quickly made way for him at the elevator door, smiling and saying, "Oh, okay, then I won't take up any more of your time. Goodbye, DouDou!"

"Goodbye, Brother Wang Hu!" Huang Doudou waved obediently, then followed her father into the elevator.

As the elevator doors slowly closed, the distance between Wang Hu and Sun Li instantly closed, and the already somewhat ambiguous atmosphere burned even more fiercely.

Wang Hu smiled and gently pulled Sun Li into his arms, as if she were a precious treasure. His hand slowly caressed Sun Li's silky smooth face, feeling the delicacy and warmth of her skin.

Sun Li gently bit her lower lip, the slight bite mark making her lips appear even more rosy and alluring. Her eyes were like autumn water, misty and sparkling, containing a unique charm that captivated all who beheld them.

Wang Hu lowered his head, gazing at Sun Li with a half-smile, and asked softly, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" His voice was deep and gentle, as if it could penetrate Sun Li's heart.

A shy blush rose on Sun Li's face, and her voice was as soft as a mosquito's buzz: "It's all because of you... last night you..." Her words trailed off, as if she found it difficult to say.

However, Wang Hu wasn't about to give up. His curiosity was completely piqued, and he insisted that Sun Li finish speaking. He grinned mischievously and pressed, "What happened last night? Hehehehehehe!"

Sun Li's shyness intensified, her head almost touching her chest as she muttered softly, "Oh dear, that was too intense!" Then, like a startled rabbit, she quickly buried her head in Wang Hu's chest.

Despite their previous intimate contact, Sun Li still occasionally felt shy in Wang Hu's presence. This shyness made her even more adorable and charming.

Hearing Sun Li's words, Wang Hu felt a surge of satisfaction. Men often like to hear such praise, and Wang Hu was no exception. He laughed happily, his laughter hearty and loud.

Immediately afterward, Wang Hu scooped up Sun Li in his arms as if she were a feather. He held her and spun her around in circles, as if the whole world had shrunk to just the two of them.

Sun Li was already tired from last night's work, and when Wang Hu turned her around, she felt dizzy.

She wrapped her arms tightly around Wang Hu's neck and said coquettishly, "Oh, stop turning around, let's go to my house! It's not good if someone sees us here!"

Wang Hu carried Sun Li into her house. Seeing that the dishes on the table seemed untouched, he looked down and asked her, "Why hasn't anyone touched this table of food?"

When this was mentioned, Sun Li's shyness had lessened, and she pouted her red lips and said to him, "It's all your fault. I got up late this morning, so I made breakfast a little late. I was in a hurry to go to school and didn't have time to eat."

Looking at the breakfast spread on the table, he said, "It's just a bit wasteful!"

Wang Hu said with a look of remorse, "It's all my fault, it's all my fault!" Before he finished speaking, he suddenly seemed to remember something, and abruptly leaned close to Sun Li's pouting red lips, kissing them with a "smack," and then said with a grin, "Then let's finish these so they won't go to waste!"

Sun Li seemed genuinely exhausted. Perhaps because she felt exceptionally safe in Wang Hu's warm embrace, she fell asleep while eating.

Wang Hu listened quietly to Sun Li's soft snoring, a smile involuntarily creeping onto his lips. He gently shook his head, carefully picked up Sun Li, stood up, and then randomly found a bedroom in the room, gently placing her on the bed.

After settling Sun Li in, Wang Hu tiptoed out of the bedroom, careful not to wake her. He gently closed the door and then turned to leave Sun Li's house.

However, just as Wang Hu stepped out of his room, preparing to go home to take a shower and relax, the elevator doors suddenly opened with a "ding," and Huang Xiaochu walked out.

When Huang Xiaochu saw Wang Hu standing at the door, he assumed he was about to leave, so he greeted him warmly, "Mr. Wang, are you going out?"

Wang Hu was startled by the sudden situation, but he quickly recovered and hurriedly explained, "Ah? No, I just forgot something, I'm going home to get it." As he spoke, he quickly took out his keys from his pocket, opened the door, and slipped inside.

Back home, Wang Hu plopped down on the sofa, patting his chest with lingering fear, and muttered to himself, "That was too thrilling! If I had been half a minute later, I probably would have been cornered at home!"

He took a shower to calm himself down, changed his clothes, and then called each of his women one by one. By the time he finished, it was almost noon.

Wang Hu left the residential area, hailed a taxi, and prepared to meet Zhou Yun.

The Cantonese restaurant Zhou Yun mentioned was in the old streets of Puxi. When she saw Wang Hu get out of the taxi, she said with a fawning look, "Wang Hu, don't you have a car? Do you want me to give you one?"

Wang Hu's gaze slowly swept over Zhou Yun, as if trying to examine her from head to toe. Zhou Yun was clearly dressed up carefully today, exuding a youthful and energetic aura.

Her makeup was light and delicate, the perfect touch making her already beautiful face even more radiant. Her light lip gloss was a pinkish-peach color, fresh and juicy, like a ripe peach, making one want to take a bite.

However, Wang Hu's gaze stopped abruptly at Zhou Yun's neck; it wasn't entirely absent, but it was certainly not very obvious.

Wang Hu shook his head: "I have cars, one in Beijing and one in Ningbo. And even if I need a car, I'll buy it myself and won't bother anyone else."
