Chapter 495 The Ambiguous Clash in the Elevator

Fan Xiaopang was extremely anxious and made several calls to Wang Hu, but each time the call was ruthlessly hung up, and finally, the caller even received a message that Wang Hu's phone was switched off.

Meanwhile, Wang Hu had no time to pay attention to Fan Xiaopang's call, because he had just walked out of the building where Fan Xiaopang lived and happened to run into Sun Li returning from grocery shopping.

Upon seeing this, Wang Hu immediately adopted a lecherous look, fawningly approaching her and greeting her with a grin, "Sister Li!"

Sun Li was well aware of Wang Hu's character; she knew he was incredibly audacious. If she showed him even the slightest kindness, he would take advantage and do things she never expected.

More importantly, with so many people in the elevator at that moment, Sun Li didn't want to interact with Wang Hu too much in public. So, she simply gave a faint "hmm," ignored Wang Hu, and turned to walk into the elevator.

Seeing Sun Li's cold reaction, and recalling the cold shoulder he had received from Fan Xiaopang earlier, Wang Hu couldn't help but wonder: Could it be that she wants to completely sever ties with me?

The more Wang Hu thought about it, the more he realized it made sense. With that thought, Wang Hu stopped talking, his face darkened, and he leaned against the elevator without uttering a word.

This turn of events surprised Sun Li. She had thought that Wang Hu would pester her as usual, but he was surprisingly quiet this time.

Sun Li couldn't help but feel suspicious. Looking at Wang Hu's tense face, her heart suddenly skipped a beat, and an ominous premonition welled up in her heart.

After hesitating for a moment, Sun Li decided to lightly kick Wang Hu, hoping to get his attention. However, Wang Hu didn't even glance at her, remaining standing there expressionless, as if he hadn't noticed Sun Li's actions at all.

Sun Li cursed inwardly, "What does this jerk want?!" She couldn't help but recall the scene last night when Wang Hu asked her to take the initiative, and a blush immediately spread across her face.

Sun Li walked up to Wang Hu, pouted her red lips, and elbowed him twice in the chest. [You stinky man, you always make me take the initiative!]

Wang Hu clearly hadn't expected Sun Li to be so proactive. Seeing her actions, he immediately realized he had been a bit too sensitive.

Then he reached out and started tickling her back. The two of them playfully teased each other in secret until they ended up sticking together.

The elevator slowly ascended, stopping at each floor as fewer and fewer passengers arrived. When only the two of them remained inside, Sun Li suddenly turned around, looked up at Wang Hu, and demanded, "Why were you making that face just now?"

Wang Hu smiled somewhat awkwardly. He gently grasped Sun Li's pert buttocks and said apologetically, "I thought you wanted to break up with me. I'm a little disappointed."

Upon hearing this, Sun Li threw the bag of vegetables she was holding to the ground without saying a word, then hugged Wang Hu's neck tightly and gave him a passionate kiss without hesitation.

After the kiss, Sun Li loosened her grip slightly and said frankly to Wang Hu, "Actually, I have had such thoughts, that we might not be suitable for each other. But you are like a poison, I can't get enough of you. Every time I think about being separated from you, my heart feels like it's being torn apart, it hurts so much."

"Ding~" With a crisp notification sound, the elevator slowly came to a stop on their floor. Wang Hu quickly bent down to pick up the vegetables scattered on the ground, then dragged Sun Li out of the elevator with one hand, his steps somewhat hurried.

After exiting the elevator, Wang Hu turned a corner and went straight into the adjacent stairwell. Seeing this, Sun Li's heart tightened, and a look of tension appeared on her face. She asked, puzzled, "Why did you bring me here again?"

Wang Hu seemed not to hear Sun Li's question. His steps didn't falter as he continued dragging Sun Li deeper into the stairwell. Only when they reached a relatively secluded corner did Wang Hu stop. He turned around and hugged Sun Li tightly.

"Baby, please help me, I'm about to explode!" Wang Hu's voice revealed an urgency and longing, and his breathing became somewhat rapid.

Sun Li understood exactly what Wang Hu wanted to do. Her face flushed instantly, and her heart began to race. However, her reason told her that she absolutely could not agree to Wang Hu's request here.

This place is too close to her home. If her husband or the neighbors upstairs or downstairs happen to pass by in the hallway, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Moreover, even if no one notices, her pants will definitely be unwearable when she gets home, and then she'll be completely unable to defend herself.

Sun Li said, "Put me down first!"

More than half an hour later, she picked up the plastic bag containing the vegetables and ran out of the stairwell.

Wang Hu stood there, a satisfied smile on his face, his gaze fixed on Sun Li's departing figure.

When Wang Hu finished tidying his clothes and slowly walked out of the stairwell, Sun Li's figure had already disappeared without a trace.

Sun Li ran all the way home and finally made it back. Without even catching her breath, she rushed straight to the kitchen.

Hearing the noise, Chef Huang quickly came into the kitchen from the living room and asked with concern, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Sun Li's heart pounded faster and faster. She heard Huang Xiaochu's footsteps approaching, and her panic intensified. She frantically turned on the tap.

She waved her hand dismissively, pretending to be calm, and said to Chef Huang, "It's nothing. It's just that someone was eating stinky tofu in the elevator just now, and the smell was so awful that it made me feel nauseous!"

Upon hearing this, Chef Huang's expression of confusion deepened. He asked in bewilderment, "Hey, didn't you really like stinky tofu? How come you can't even stand the smell anymore?"

Sun Li's heart tightened. She glared at Chef Huang and snapped, "How can eating it yourself be the same as eating it with someone else? The feeling is completely different, okay!"

After Wang Hu returned home, his phone showed a series of missed calls, all from Fan Xiaopang.

Wang Hu wondered if he had been overreacting, so he removed her from his blacklist again.

Just as Wang Hu pulled out the phone, it rang again. After Wang Hu answered, Fan Xiaopang quickly apologized.

"Honey, I'm sorry, please don't be angry!"

Upon hearing this, Wang Hu confirmed it was true and then asked, "Tell me where you learned those words from?"

Fan Xiaopang said with an embarrassed look, "I bought a dating guide, and it said that if you want to win your heart, you can't just blindly obey, so that's why I said that..."

Wang Hu almost burst out laughing when he heard this, but he managed to hold back and said in a stern voice, "Seeing how sincere your apology was, I'll forgive you!"

Fan Xiaopang's voice immediately brightened, "That's great!" Then, in a sweet, coquettish tone, he added, "Honey, I miss you. Do you want to come to Thailand for a few days?"
