Wang Hu and Sun Honglei entered the workshop together! They ran into other people from the same workshop at the turnstile. They didn't recognize them, as they were all from the back section, so they just greeted each other and went inside!
Once in the workshop, Wang Hu and Sun Honglei stopped talking about their previous topics, afraid of being overheard.
Wang Hu and his team worked in the innermost part of the workshop! This factory produces LCD monitors and is very famous in Ningbo! Previously, the backlight tubes for the monitors were imported and very expensive. Later, Wang Hu's team was established to produce these backlight tubes!
It's simply a matter of using a chip mounter to solder LED lights onto a circuit board, then separating them line by line, adding connectors, and you have a light tube. It's that simple!
When Wang Hu and his team entered their department, some people were already there: Li Yun and Li Keshui. Li Yun was from Hubei and was five years older than Wang Hu, while Li Keshui was from Yuyao, Zhejiang, and was six years older than Wang Hu. Therefore, they both took good care of Wang Hu in the workshop.
Both Li Yun and Li Keshui were quite handsome. Li Yun met his girlfriend in the workshop; she was also from Hubei and was a twin. His girlfriend was the older sister, and she fell in love with Li Yun the moment she saw him! She pursued him relentlessly! Two months later, Li Yun agreed to be with her. Although they broke up a few times in between, they eventually got married.
Li Keshui is a bit of a player. Although he has a girlfriend now, he has not introduced her to his colleagues, nor has he brought her out to parties. However, Wang Hu has run into him and his girlfriend sometimes when he goes out to surf the internet.
Why is he called a "player"? After Wang Hu left his job, he kept in touch with him and frequently saw his WeChat Moments showing him different women. Later, it turned out he wasn't working in the factory anymore; he was working as a male model at a bar!
After waiting a while, the colleagues gradually arrived, and then the line manager started taking attendance. The line manager's name was Shao Dong, from Nanyang, Henan, and he had been quite considerate of Wang Hu. Wang Hu hadn't been in contact with him for several years after leaving the company!
"Let's start the roll call now, Sun Honglei!" Sun Honglei arrived earlier and was the eldest in the workshop, so his name was called first.

Wang Hu was almost done by the time the shift ended because he was the last one to arrive! This workshop doesn't recruit many new employees because it's a very easy job! Few people leave. Although Wang Hu had been working here for almost a year, he was still one of the last few!
After roll call, production lines were assigned. Wang Hu and Li Keshui were on line 2! Li Yun and Sun Honglei were on line 3! Line 1 was kept off for machine maintenance!
Wang Hu walked to the front of the production line, turned on his computer, and checked the production schedule. Output wasn't much, and the machines still needed maintenance. He figured it was time to clock out early.
Wang Hu thought to himself, "No wonder only one leader came!" There were only three leaders in the department and workshop: one supervisor and two line leaders.
Wang Hu's job is to print solder paste onto PCBs! Today's production model is PC2000! According to this model, it should be a type of monitor backlight tube, which is relatively long, so the PCB board is also relatively large! It takes half an hour for the pick-and-place machine to print one.
When Wang Hu glanced at the production schedule, he said to Li Keshui, "Today is easy. It will probably take half an hour to produce one PC2000 board!"
Li Keshui rolled her eyes at him. "You're having an easy time? I'm working myself to death!"
Li Keshui is the loading operator for the pick and place machine! There are only 500 pieces in a tray, but a board needs 5,000 pieces! So he has to load the material ten times for each board. The two sides of the pick and place machine are loaded at the same time, and there is only one loading operator, so Li Keshui has to run between the two sides, which is very tiring!
"It's alright, I'll go find some big trays and catch them all for you!" Wang Hu reassured him.
You really have to come and help me! Otherwise, I'll be exhausted.
"Okay, no problem!" Wang Hu agreed as he went to check the solder paste printer, adding the solder paste in first. He closed the cover and turned on the start button.
We reached the front of the production line and began preparing for material loading. First, we placed the PCB boards on the carrier and secured them with high-temperature tape. Then, we placed them into the material baskets. Each basket can hold 20 boards. The automatic feeder can use two baskets at a time.
However, today's production order is not high; we need to maintain the machine, so the output is only ten pieces. Each piece takes half an hour, so we estimate we'll finish before 3 PM.
Then I went to the warehouse and found two large empty material trays to help Li Keshui load the materials next to the pick-and-place machine. Each large tray could hold three trays of materials, making things easier for Li Keshui!
"We're not producing much today, but we should be done by 3 p.m.!" Wang Hu said to Li Keshui.
"Who cares? We'll produce whatever production quota they set," Li Keshui replied.
"What are we going to do after 3 o'clock?"
"Why don't you go ask the line manager?"
"Okay, I'll go ask."
Wang Hu found the line manager, Shao Dong, and asked him, "Today's production is estimated to be finished by 3 o'clock! What do we do after 3 o'clock? Are we going to finish the early shift today?"
Shao Dong glanced at him and said, "Why are you leaving the early shift? Go help out in the back after 3 PM!"
"The latter part isn't busy either!"
"Whether you're busy or not, just go!"
Hearing this, Wang Hu understood. He meant, "If you're not busy, go find somewhere to play on your phone. You can't even be lazy? They used to do this all the time."
Because it's a new workshop, the production output isn't set high! Sometimes we finish production by 5 PM. Normally, we work eight-hour shifts! Factories make money, so they should pay overtime. We usually find a place to rest until 8:30 PM before leaving get off work!
