Sheep Extra (the one at the beginning of the story)

Born in a poor village, his parents only liked his younger brother and wanted him to carry on the family line. They didn't like daughters, so even his name was as humble as the only ewe in the family.

Before Yang'er was born, her family was relatively wealthy and had many chickens, sheep and other livestock. Before she was born, her parents had been looking forward to her birth. Until the day she was born, everything was destroyed.

When the midwife carried her out with disgust and said to her father who was standing by the door, "It's a girl," her fate in that family seemed doomed.

The incompetent father blamed his bedridden mother, blaming her for being useless and for not being able to give birth to a son.

No one cares about the baby crying heartbreakingly.

From the time she began to remember, her parents either beat or scolded her, and always made her do a lot of work. Even her name was given by them after she begged for it, using a name they randomly gave to a newborn lamb.

She didn't like the name, but she had no right to change it.

Later, her parents finally gave birth to a son. They were so happy that they also smiled at her many times.

She thought, they still loved her.

Later, she walked out of the house and met her good friends, Chunmiao and Huaer.

They are really good and kind, with good family backgrounds, good looks, good personalities, and their parents are also good. Everything about them is so perfect, except that she looks like a poor thing.

They would not laugh at her or tease her like other people did, they treated her as a friend, and they were indeed a friend. They would give her beautiful handkerchiefs and hairpins, take her to the town to play, and show her many things she had never seen before.

Is it novel?

Of course it's novel.

That was the kind of treatment she had never received at home. Even her relatives were kind to her.

So good.

How can I not be jealous? How can I not resent?

She finally began to "wake up".

What she thought was parental love was nothing more than their unnecessary pity after they spoiled and indulged their younger brother.

Of course she was unwilling to accept this.

The more clearly she realizes the gap between them, the more unwilling she becomes!

Fortunately, this world is chaotic enough!

It was so chaotic that everyone was equally poor and destitute.

It seems that only at this moment are they the most equal.

To support her younger brother, her parents sold many of their livestock, including her beloved lamb, for food. Only one ewe remained. Why? Of course, it was because her beloved younger brother had been raised on ewe's milk and couldn't stop, so they had to keep it even if it meant they couldn't make ends meet.

And that night, she heard them discussing selling her for money in the house.

Finally, they chose to abandon her.

Ever since they sold their livestock one after another, Yang'er had vaguely guessed this possibility, but she didn't give up until she actually heard it.

People always strive for higher goals. Since they have decided to abandon her, from now on, no matter what happens to her, it will have nothing to do with them.

She walked into the house, weeping bitterly, and said in a caring manner: "Dad and Mom, can you sell me to the palace? I've asked around, and I know you can get more money by selling me to them. This is the last thing I can do for you..."

As expected, her parents listened to her and contacted the palace.

Her escape plan has just begun.

She had already inquired about the palace recruiting maids. Rather than being sold to a brothel, going to the palace would give her a chance to move up.

But she didn't expect that Chunmiao and Huaer would go with her.

In the past two years, their family's life has been a bit tight, but it is far from the point where they were sold like her. However, she was secretly happy that they became slaves like her. Only in this way could they be equal.

The three of them entered Prince Qiao's mansion as they wished.

Everything here made her like it.

She was used to showing weakness, and this frail appearance also allowed her to enjoy a lot of good treatment. However, she did not expect that Chunmiao and Huaer would drift away from her after entering the mansion.

She wanted money, fame, fortune and status. She had already found out the information of everyone in the palace, and she was moving in the direction she wanted. As for the friendship that was gradually fading away, she paused for a moment, but still chose to continue pursuing what she wanted.

So the three of them eventually drifted further and further apart, until finally, they became strangers.

They had different ideas, had a big fight, and broke up completely.

She did not try to save the relationship, but chose to go to the eldest son's courtyard. With her advantages and beauty, she finally became a concubine in the eldest son's backyard as she wished.

She doesn't think there's anything wrong with this.

With just a few tricks, she could climb into the bed of the prince's eldest son, completely turn things around, no longer a slave, and be able to order others around and control them at will. How could it be bad?

She still has many enemies even after entering the backyard.

Every woman in the backyard has no children, and each of them is eyeing to be the first woman to give birth to a legitimate son. Only in this way can their status rise and they can really sit firmly in this position.

She is no exception.

But no matter how hard she tried, she still couldn't get pregnant.

And she didn't have any extra time to dwell on it.

Because she had not been in this position for a few years, the Qiao Palace was assassinated.

"At this time, who doesn't want to live? If I don't run, do I have to wait here for someone to save me? Hua'er, don't pretend to be kind!" She was holding a bundle of gold and silver jewelry, and her eyes were filled with fear of escaping.

She clutched the bundle tightly in her hands, her posture as if Chunhua would take away her money. Chunhua came here just to see if she was okay, but seeing her former friend become so unrecognizable, she felt heartbroken.
